"Edwina...."he grumpled seating up. Like always his vision were ....dark

What was he expecting. He was born blind

"Good morning bro. Hope you slept well ?'Edwina beamed happily. She held both his hands in hers

"Same like always. I can't even tell when it's day or night. "He replied plainly

Putting his leg on the marble floor,he stood up and walked knowingly to the bathroom

"Just leave...."he blurted going back in

"Such a pain in the àss. Just come down for breakfast. Heads up, school resumes today "Edwina said before going out.

After he brushed his teeth, Maynard had his bath. A towel could be seen tied around his waist as he stepped outta the bathroom

He walked to his bed and stretched his arm. Just like every morning,an outfit has already been placed there for him

Within a matter of minutes, Maynard Lionheart made his way down the stairs

His hands were tightly holding unto the rails as he descended down the stairs

"Mother...."his nose twitched immediately he entered the kitchen

"Maynard, your lenses "Mrs Isabel Lionheart rushed to her son

He yanked his arm away from her and went to a seat. Maynard never bothered to greet his dad as he settled down on the seat

"Maynard...." Isabel muttered walking to him. She snapped her fingers and quickly. A guard rushed back in with a little box

"Maynard your lenses please. Y... you'll fall "she stuttered tearing brimming at her eyes

"Am fine mother..okay ? I wanna go one fûcking day without having a stupid lense on. I know am blind even with that shît I still can see any fûcking thing. But mother, just let me go a day without wearing em. I'll be fine "he said plainly..

Edwina placed her hand on her mum's shoulder

"Just let him be mum. I'll be with him all through the day" she said with a smile

"A..am just worried bout him. I know it's not easy being blind but...I don't want him getting hurt." She whispered only to Edwina hearing

"Stop wasting your goddamn tears on him. He's worthless" Eren Lionheart said with his eyes glued on the newspaper

"Never thought you'll consider me as a living thing Eren...." Maynard retorted..

Father and son both sat at a great distance from each other.

And thankfully,the dinning table was extremely wide and long

"It's a thing of joy you don't consider me as your father. It'll be shame having a bàstard as a so_"

"Eren it's enough please!" Isabel snapped tearfully. He took his gaze from the newspaper and faced her

Edwina had her head bowed down. She badly wanted to cry out but she's trying to be strong

It's like a normal routine now in the Lionheart family. Everybody her dad and Maynard will always exchange words

He doesn't even consider their father as one. Since Maynard came outta womb and Eren found out he's blind

For some reason, Isabel stayed. And gave birth to Edwina after that

She never neglected or rebuke Maynard. He is her son

"Lost my appetite "Maynard mumbled and stood up. He marched to the door and Edwina opened it wide for him

"Wait..."she rushed after him and held his arm.

He's temperature is already running high,tears were already dripping outta his pale eyeballs

"May...."she squeezed his hand and he sniffed

The limo was already awaiting for them. The chauffeur opened the door and they both hopped in

The car sped down the road in a few minutes accompanied by other 3 cars all containing bodyguards
