SOUGHT AFTER PEACE

Breathing in and out  

Seems like that all I do these days. I’ve always wondered how living the life of the rich would be, when I’d have my own car,clothes, and have all my worries disappear. I know money really isn’t everything but it does make the most of everything in fact scratch that in the world we live in right now money is everything and that’s so sad.

But then it hit me. ITS MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My eyes snap open and am rushing to get ready for the dreadful place I go to everyday called a school. The part that annoys me more about going to school is the fact that we are given assignments and tests and even the worse of all exams cos why can’t we just raise our hands and swear that we understand everything we were taught and move to the next class... hmph 

I pick out a short black flair skirt and a white long sleeved shirt then tuck it in then throw on my black and white vans with my black leather bag. I always use a lip gloss cos am useless when it comes to the make up side of life and with that am done. 

Oh yeahhh I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Lily and my life has been pretty rough after my father died but I have my mother with me so I feel fine.

I kiss my mum on the cheek while trying to grab an apple from the fruit bowl since am not really feeling hungry then I dash out the door before she has the chance to complain about the length of my skirt.
