The morning was my favorite part of any day. The birds chirping, the bright sky, and the bright sun rays shining on my face as I woke up. Every day for the last thirteen years, I had woken up this way and I loved everything about it. I wouldn't trade the feeling for anything in the world. Well except mamas warm hugs and kisses but it was also a big part of my morning. Unfortunately, today was going to be a different day and I didn't expect it. Loud shouts woke me up.
There was a loud bang on my room door. I sat up in my bed with a frown. Who was at the door? And why were they banging so hard when it wasn't even morning. The room was dark as I used my hands to search for my way through the room and to the door. As a young pup who had not gotten her wolf yet, my eyesight wasn't exactly the best.
"Fuck" I cursed as I hit my toes on the foot of the bed. I bit my lips and groaned. Mama would she a thousand years if she heard me swearing. The pounding on the door continued and I rushed to the door. Immediately I twisted the lock, the door was pushed open. Stella my mother's maid came bounding in.
"Hurry up. We have to get out of here" Stella said hurriedly and tried to grab my hand.
"What is going on Stella? What of mama" I said while trying to walk around her.
"There's no time. We have to leave now" she dragged me out of the room and I stumbled on my feet as I tried to keep up with her. The lights were shining bright along the hallway. She walked quickly dragging me begging her. We heard some voices and she ducked behind the wall covering my mouth and blocking us from their sight.
