Long-distance relationship for three years, and my boyfriend cheated on me! The other party is a "green tea" type, oh right, he also has a "bro" who is a "handsome tea," but they don't know that my tea skills are unmatched.

Chapter 1

Long-distance relationship for three years, and my boyfriend cheated on me with a conniving bitch. Well, he also had a good friend who was scheming, but they didn't know that no one could match my scheming.

01

When the plane landed in Jasperville, it was already seven in the evening. I rushed into Nicolas Green's arms, who had come to pick me up.

He was my boyfriend of six years, with big eyes and a high nose bridge, and his smile was captivating.

"Nicolas, I won't leave now that I'm back."

I buried my head in his chest, feeling overjoyed.

In my senior year of college, I went to Highland Falls to pursue my dreams, while he chose to stay in Jasperville.

During our three years of long-distance relationship, we met very few times.

Nicolas smiled and ruffled my hair, "That's wonderful. In a few days, I'll take you home to discuss our wedding plans."

Filled with happiness, I got into Nicolas' car.

As soon as I opened the car door, the lipstick in the gap of the passenger seat caught my attention.

It was used.

"Don't misunderstand, Alina. A colleague's moped broke down earlier, and I..."

Before Nicolas could finish, his phone rang.

I glanced at the note and it was Brielle Sweetie.

The nickname seemed rather intimate.

As he answered the call, a soft female voice came through, "Nicolas, I might have left my lipstick in your car earlier. I heard you're picking up your girlfriend today. I hope she doesn't misunderstand. I can help explain."

What a sweet talker she was, but I didn't like her delicate and artificial nature.

Before Nicolas could speak, I gestured for him to hand me the phone and said with a smile, "You must be Brielle. It's normal for colleagues to help each other out. You don't have to call and explain. I often sit in my colleagues' passenger seats too, it's no big deal. Nicolas will return your lipstick tomorrow."

There was silence on the other end, and I hung up without saying more.

Nicolas glanced at me, looking uneasy.

"Alina, you should be careful when you're out. Don't always sit in the passenger seat of someone else."

So he knew the significance of the passenger seat.

I raised an eyebrow and blinked innocently, "Why can Brielle do it and I can't?"

Nicolas was momentarily at loss, "Brielle is our schoolmate, she just graduated this year and doesn't know much. I'm just being considerate."

"Alright, I trust you. Today is our 6th anniversary of dating. What are you going to take me to eat?" Not wanting a conniving bitch to ruin my mood, I asked Nicolas.

"I'm inviting you to dinner, so of course we're going to go somewhere special." Nicolas spoke mysteriously, and the car finally stopped in front of the most stylish five-star hotel in Jasperville.

I nodded with satisfaction. He was quite attentive.

Just as we got out of the car, Nicolas' phone rang again.

He looked at me and pressed decline.

Not two seconds later, his phone rang again.

"Answer it, in case it's urgent." Seeing his somewhat awkward expression, I spoke up.

Nicolas smiled apologetically and answered the call.

This time, I didn't see the contact name.

"Nicolas, what are you doing? How dare you hang up on me!" A sharp female voice came from the other end.

Nicolas shrank back and lowered his voice, "Stop messing around. I don't have time to hang out with you today."

"What do you mean hang out? What, your girlfriend just got back and she's already restricting your freedom? Bring her over, let us teach her a lesson."

"If you keep being rude, I'll hang up." Nicolas' tone grew heavier, and he glanced at me, worried I might be upset by the conversation.

The voice on the other end became more serious, "Wayne Myers is in Jasperville today. We've arranged a gathering at a casual eatery, you can't miss it."

"Today is the 6th anniversary of my and Alina's love, so I won't go." Nicolas refused without hesitation.

02

This time, the woman was truly angered.

"Women are so troublesome, always thinking about those random anniversaries. Isn't it just about wanting gifts? Nicolas, if you don't come, it means you don't value us as friends. Don't blame us for cutting ties with you."

"Well..." Nicolas looked at me, feeling extremely conflicted.

I smiled and took the phone, "Hey, you misunderstood Nicolas. We've already booked a private room. I'll have Nicolas send you the location, come join us."

"Who are you? Why are you interrupting my conversation with Nicolas?" Hearing my voice, the person on the other end became agitated.

"I'm Nicolas' girlfriend. It's understandable you don't know, since we haven't met." I maintained my smile and spoke calmly, then had Nicolas send the location.

"Alina, you know this restaurant is high-end and requires advance booking. I went through a lot to reserve two seats. With so many people, we should go somewhere else." Nicolas was in a bind. He couldn't book another seat.

Seeing him like this, I pulled out a card.

It shimmered brightly.

"I am a VIP here and do not need to make reservations in advance."

Seeing the VIP card, Nicolas' eyes lit up, and his troubled expression turned to joy as we entered the private room.

Once seated, he explained, "The caller was my childhood friend Valerie Ford. She's bold and unfiltered, don't mind her."

I looked at him for a while, unsure if he was truly oblivious or pretending.

"Don't worry, your friends are my friends. I even bought them gifts." As I spoke, a man knocked on the door. It was my assistant, Toby Gibson.

"Miss Alina Willis, here are the things you requested."

Toby handed me the gifts and left discreetly.

"Alina, you..." Nicolas was overwhelmed by the sight of the gifts.

"Meeting your friends without gifts would be impolite."

Just as I finished speaking, a commotion arose outside.

Five men and one woman approached us.

"Alina, it's been years, and you're still as beautiful as ever." The man in the white shirt complimented me as soon as he saw me.

Among Nicolas' friends, there were a few I knew.

"It's all thanks to makeup. I envy you, even the plainest can transform into beauty. Unlike me, I don't use anything and wouldn't know how to makeup." A sudden female voice interrupted.

I looked at Valerie, short with thick legs, small eyes with obvious double eyelid tape, and unevenly applied foundation on her sallow skin.

She couldn't be said to be ugly, but she was definitely not pretty.

Her ability to lie with a straight face was impressive.

Nicolas had mentioned Valerie came to Jasperville last year. Because she was unfamiliar with the place and they were former neighbors, they had more contact.

"You must be Valerie. Nicolas often talks about you. It's a pity the gift I bought for you seems unsuitable."

I sighed and picked out a bottle of toner from the many gift boxes. It was quite expensive.

Looking at the toner in my hand, Valerie's eyes flashed with surprise and she stretched out her hand towards me.

I pretended not to notice and asked the five men, "Who has a girlfriend? This is for her."

A man took it readily and said thank you.

03

"You all have gifts, take whichever you like." I pointed to the gift box behind me.

"Wow, Alina, are you an angel? These limited edition jerseys are worth a fortune. Are you really giving them to us?"

"I've had my eye on this Hermès wallet for a long time. Nicolas, you're really lucky to have such a great girlfriend."

The compliments made Valerie clench her teeth even tighter.

Nicolas was overjoyed. Just being able to dine at such a high-end restaurant was already a point of pride among his friends, and now, with all these surprising gifts, he was on cloud nine.

"You're all so materialistic. I used to think only women were like that, but it turns out you guys are just the same," Valerie said with a hint of annoyance, glaring at them.

After all, among so many gifts, the only one she could have was also rejected by her.

I grasped her hand sincerely, "I don't like materialistic women either. Valerie, I feel we really click. How about becoming best friends?"

Valerie was taken aback and quickly withdrew her hand, saying disdainfully, "I don't make friends with women. They're too much trouble."

Feeling wronged, I tugged on Nicolas' sleeve, "Nicolas, does your friend not like me? What did I do wrong? I can change."

"Don't mind her, Alina. She's just a crazy woman. Let's eat. Who knows when we'll have such big lobsters again?" said the guy in the white shirt, leaving Valerie speechless.

As we savored the meal, Valerie started causing trouble again.

She picked up Nicolas' glass and took a small sip.

"Oh, I grabbed the wrong glass. You don't mind, do you, Alina?"

Valerie blinked, a sly smile playing on her lips. "We used to drink like this all the time. It's just a habit. If it bothers you, I won't do it again."

"It's no big deal. Excuse me, bring ten more bottles of juice. This lady really loves it." I called over the waiter. "Valerie, don't hold back. Order whatever you want. We're not strangers."

"Yeah, Valerie, Alina isn't a stranger," Nicolas chimed in, looking at me with growing affection.

Faced with ten glasses of juice, Valerie clenched her fists and acted up again, "I only drink alcohol, not juice."

"Alcohol, well..." I murmured.

Catching the hesitation in my eyes, Valerie slammed the table, "Alina, do you dare to have a drinking contest with me?"

"Is that a good idea?" I hesitated.

Valerie grew more smug, "What's wrong with it? I can't stand women who can't even drink."

Listening to her constant disdain for women, I felt a bit irritated. Wasn't she a woman too? Why such a bias?

"I'm just worried you'll embarrass yourself," I sighed softly.

Valerie sneered, "You're just scared, aren't you? Whoever passes out first has to admit defeat."

An hour later, I defeated an opponent named Valerie.

Though I wasn't thrilled about it.

Watching Valerie passed out like a starfish on the floor, I gently set down my glass. With her drinking capacity, she dared to challenge me?

What a joke! How could she compare to the drinking capacity I developed in order to successfully negotiate a cooperation?

The gathering wound down as Valerie got drunk. I volunteered to take her home, and she managed to throw up all over Nicolas's car, nearly making Nicolas rip the steering wheel off in anger.

04

Back home, Nicolas couldn't wait to take a shower.

A message popped up on WhatsApp.

I glanced at it. It was from Brielle Sweetie.

Brielle Sweetie said, "Nicolas, is your girlfriend asleep?"

Scrolling up, there were no chat records.

Clearly, he had deleted them.

I felt unhappy. I hadn't even been back for a night, and already two women were causing trouble.

I started to doubt Nicolas' sincerity towards me.

When Nicolas came out wrapped in a towel, he saw me staring at his phone.

He snatched it away, stammering, "Alina, let me explain. Brielle recently got a landscaping project. She doesn't have much experience and wanted to consult me."

Well, but what did this have to do with whether I sleep or not?

I looked at him for a moment, then smiled.

"She really put a lot of thought into it. Since that's the case, you should lend her a hand," I said, dialing Brielle's call.

The call connected quickly, and Brielle's soft voice came through, "Nicolas, how dare you call me?"

"Aren't you revising the proposal? Alina was worried you wouldn't finish and asked me to help," Nicolas explained anxiously.

Hearing this, Brielle continued, "You should spend more time with your girlfriend. Why are you calling me?"

The two of them worked on the proposal intermittently. I didn't bother with them and went to bed.

Lying alone in bed, I recalled every detail of my time with Nicolas.

College romances were always beautiful and pure.

At least, that was what Nicolas thought.

But he didn't know that I was never the innocent lamb. I was the strategic mastermind setting traps.

I admit I was attracted to looks. One glimpse of him at a sophomore event, and I wanted to make him mine.

Pretending to forget my meal card was a lie, and my phone being stolen was also a lie.

With my calculated moves and decent looks, he confessed to me.

Back then, Nicolas was wholeheartedly in love with me.

But now, he seemed strange to me.

I decided not to dwell on unpleasant thoughts and had a good night's sleep.

By morning, their proposal was still unfinished.

I began to doubt their work efficiency.

"Alright, time to go to work. Show me around the company," I said, waking Nicolas, who had fallen asleep at the computer.

Nicolas worked at a subsidiary of Yonder Group in Jasperville. I was sent here by my superiors to serve as the CEO, which was a promotion.

Two years ago, when Nicolas' career hit a rough patch, I used my connections to get him a job in this company. Because of me, he was promoted to deputy manager of the department in the past two years.

Not a bad achievement.

After a tour around the company, the overall atmosphere was pretty good, except that the intern named Brielle Warren had taken half a day off, so it was a pity I didn't see her.

At three in the afternoon, I finally met Brielle in person.

She had a curvaceous figure, smooth and delicate skin, and her large, dewy eyes were hard to look away from.

Yes, this was what a true conniving bitch should be like.

Brielle, with her alluring figure, was carrying a cup of coffee, heading towards the manager's office.

I stepped forward, blocking her path.

Brielle looked me up and down, annoyed, "Are you the new intern? Why aren't you working instead of getting in the way?"

I touched my nose, leaned closer, and whispered, "If I were you, I wouldn't serve such hot coffee. A cup at the right temperature would make the manager think you're attentive and reliable."

Hearing my words, Brielle hesitated, staring at me with admiration, "You're the real expert."

I waved my hand, saying nothing.

This pretty conniving bitch didn't seem to have much brain.

Watching Brielle cool down her coffee, I picked up a cup and took it to Nicolas.

When Brielle knocked on the office door, she saw Nicolas drinking my coffee.

"You!" Seeing me, Brielle was too angry to speak.
