ng to me now" I said without batting an eyelid. I could feel everyone's eyes on me the moment I said that, but I didn't care. It took me years to cross paths with her again, I wasn't going to let her slip out of my hand again. Not when I'm aware of the danger that awaited her. The first thing Ambrose would do once he regained consciousness would be to hunt her down. "Wh..what did you just say?"She stuttered. "You are mine now, Winter. And I like to keep what belongs to me in sight" The words rolled of my tongue with great ease. She looked away quickly, staring at the glass window even though all that was outside there were trees and grasses. "Stella" I said without taking my eyes off Winter, "Get her something nice to wear. I want us to have breakfast" "Mmm"Stella grumbled. "Do you want to have breakfast with me?" I asked Winter, but she was too overwhelmed to answer. *** Two hours later we were at the garden having breakfast. She was surprisingly quiet, like she wasn't the same person yelling every single thing she had to say earlier. "Do you like it?" I asked just while she was about to have another bite of pancake. She dropped her cutlery and sighed. "What exactly do you want from me?" "Me? Nothing" I Shrugged. "Then let me go" "I can't" "Why?" Her voice sounded softer than usual when she asked this, so were her sparkly baby blue eyes. "Because it cost me a lot of resources and time to save you" I said the most whimsical thing my brain could come up with. "I never asked you to save me. Why did you do that in the first place?" "Because you are my fiancé" "I am not your fiancé" She warned sternly. "I never said that. You did" "Me?" "Isn't that what you asked the blog to tell the world?" "What blog? I never told anyone anything. I don't even know you" "What?" She doesn't even know me? "What is what?" "Nothing" I shook of the pang of disappointment that hit me when she said she didn't know me. "So that was why they abducted me in the first place" She mused to herself, "Because a blog said I was your fiancé?
