Damnon was born into the Morel crime family, one of the most feared mafia syndicates in the underworld. His father was a notorious don, known for his brutal efficiency. However, power came at a price. Damnon's childhood was devoid of warmth. He was trained from a young age to be a successor, witnessing bloodshed, betrayals, and the true nature of survival.

When his father was assassinated in a power struggle, Damnon was forced to take control sooner than expected. His rise to power was swift and merciless-he eliminated his enemies, crushed opposition, and solidified his rule with an iron grip. He turned the family business into a terrifying empire, expanding into arms dealing, drug trade, and high-stakes black-market operations.

Damnon is feared by everyone, even those closest to him. He rarely speaks more than necessary, but when he does, his words carry weight. He is known for his unshakable composure-even under extreme pressure, he never loses control. He doesn't tolerate disobedience, and betrayal is met with swift and merciless punishment.

Many attempt to get close to him, but Damnon trusts no one. He's had lovers, but none ever mattered to him beyond temporary indulgence. His heart is locked away, frozen by the life he was forced into.

Though he appears untouchable, Damnon is not without weakness. His greatest fear is losing control-whether of his business, his emotions, or his personal life. Deep down, there's a part of him that wonders if there could have been a different life for him. But he suppresses it, believing he's too far gone.

It's Anna's first Day at work so she hurries to the Morel Mansion. Anna's heart raced as she hurried down the winding driveway, her eyes fixed on the imposing structure of the Morel Mansion. She had been looking forward to this day for weeks, yet a mix of excitement and nerves swirled in her stomach. This was her chance to start anew, to prove herself, and to earn a steady income that would finally allow her to pursue her dreams.

As she approached the mansion, Anna couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. She had never seen a house so grand, so luxurious. The photos she had seen online didn't do it justice. She felt a pang of intimidation, wondering if she was truly cut out for this job.

"What if I mess up?" she thought to herself. "What if I'm not good enough?"

Anna took a deep breath, pushing aside her doubts. She had prepared for this moment, researching the duties of a maid, practicing her cleaning skills, and rehearsing her responses to potential questions. She was determined to make a good impression, to prove herself as a hard worker, and to earn the respect of her new employer.

As she reached the entrance, Anna smoothed her uniform, checking her reflection in the window to ensure she looked presentable. She took a moment to collect herself, mentally preparing for the day ahead.

----

The heavy doors of the mansion creaked shut behind her as Anna stepped inside, the cold marble floors reflecting the opulence of her surroundings. She had never seen wealth like this, and it made her stomach twist. The air smelled faintly of expensive cologne, leather, and danger. It was as if every inch of this place exhaled power-and she, a poor girl from the outskirts of town, didn't belong here.

She tugged nervously at the hem of her uniform, trying to steady her breathing. Her eyes darted to the grand staircase that spiraled upward. At the top, standing like a sentinel, was Damnon-the Mafia boss who ruled this empire with an iron fist.

He was everything she feared: tall, dark, and the kind of man who could make an entire room fall silent with a single look. His face was sharp, his eyes cold, the kind of eyes that seemed to read people as if they were nothing more than pawns in his game. The agents had warned her about him-about his ruthlessness, about his temper-but nothing could have prepared her for the presence he commanded. His gaze flicked over her, and for a moment, Anna felt like prey under his scrutiny.

"Anna," his voice came out as a low, almost bored growl, like he couldn't care less about her existence. His eyes narrowed. "You're here because they think you can be of use. But don't forget-this is my world. Stay out of my way."

Anna swallowed, the weight of his words sinking in. She nodded quickly, unsure of what to say.

He turned and began descending the stairs, his steps deliberate, each one echoing like a warning. "You'll clean. You'll serve. And you'll do it quietly."

Anna couldn't help but notice the tension in the air. There was something else in his voice, something darker-like he didn't just want her to be useful, but to be invisible. To be nothing.

Her pulse raced. She was scared. Terrified, even. But this job was her only chance-her only chance to earn enough money for school, to build a life outside of the streets. She had to endure, no matter how frightening this man was.

---

The days passed slowly, filled with endless cleaning and serving, all under Damnon's cold and indifferent gaze. He rarely spoke to her, only barking orders when necessary. But there was a presence about him, something oppressive, that made her feel like she was always walking on eggshells. The other staff seemed equally afraid of him, always watching their steps, afraid to meet his eyes.

Anna learned quickly that Damnon wasn't just the boss; he was the storm that controlled everything. No one dared to challenge him. And she... she was just a maid, here to keep the mansion running smoothly.

But things weren't as simple as they seemed.

---

One evening, as Anna wiped down the long dining table, she saw him again. Damnon was standing at the far end of the room, his gaze fixed on her. It wasn't the typical, dismissive glance he usually gave her. This one lingered a moment too long, intense, searching. His eyes were cold-yet there was something deeper beneath them.

Anna quickly looked away, heart pounding. She wasn't sure why, but something told her that he was watching her more closely than before.

---

Later that evening, Anna found herself alone in the grand hall, dusting off a piece of furniture near the staircase. The silence of the house was almost suffocating. As she turned to head to the next room, she froze. Damnon was standing at the top of the staircase, watching her.

For a split second, their eyes locked, and Anna felt her heart skip a beat. His gaze wasn't the cold, indifferent one she had come to expect. There was something else in it-something raw.

Without saying a word, he descended the stairs slowly, his steps heavy and deliberate. The air between them crackled, charged with tension.

"I didn't tell you to stop working," Damnon's voice was a harsh whisper as he passed her, the scent of his cologne overwhelming.

Anna nodded quickly, unable to speak. Her heart pounded in her chest as she watched him disappear into the shadows of the hallway.
