"You are coming with us," Damon, the first-born twin, commanded, his tone brokering no disagreement. "I'm not going anywhere with either of you," Ember snarled, her eyes blazing with defiance. "You'll come with us, Mate," Xavier said, his voice calm but resolute. "When we reach the pack, we can discuss everything else." "I said, NO," Ember snapped, her heart pounding with anger. "I will never go back to that pack, and I will never go anywhere with you two. I don't even want to be mated to either of you," she hissed, her laughter hollow as she wiped away the tears that had begun to fall. "Do you know what?" She raised a brow at them. "I reje-" Before she could finish, the Alpha twins were on her, each grabbing her on one side. Their fangs elongated, and without hesitation, they bit into her neck, marking her with brutal force. Ember, an Omega at seventeen, had been wrongfully exiled from her pack, accused by the Alpha twins-Damon and Xavier-of a crime she didn't commit. Three years later, they find each other again, and Ember learns that she is the Alpha twins' Mate, with far more at stake than she ever realized.

The Omega's Alpha Twin Mate Chapter 1 1

Ember had always hated the dark. The shadow of the trees, the way they bent and swayed like looming giants in the night, seemed to press in on her as she made her way deeper into the forest. A full moon hung high in the sky, casting an eerie light over the undergrowth, but it did little to ease the weight pressing on her chest. The chill in the air bit through her thin clothing, but it wasn't the cold that bothered her. It was the memories-the whispers that seemed to follow her with every step, each echoing the past she couldn't escape.

Her heart thundered in her chest, but Ember pressed on. She had to. No other choice remained. Not when the pack had abandoned her, not when her world had been shattered by those who should have protected her. Her thoughts raced, spiraling into darker corners of her mind.

The sharp snap of a twig underfoot had her stopping dead in her tracks. She froze, every muscle in her body taut, her senses stretching out to the edges of the forest. A figure emerged from the shadows. Tall, broad-shouldered, and unmistakable.

"Damon," Ember's voice came out as a growl, full of loathing.

He stepped forward, his silhouette sharp against the backdrop of moonlight, his eyes glowing faintly with an amber hue. The first-born twin of the Alpha pair, Damon Tyrell. Even after three years, seeing him stirred something deep inside her-a mix of anger, hurt, and the faintest trace of a feeling she couldn't name.

"Ember," Damon said, his voice smooth, but there was a steel to it, one that hadn't been there before. "You're not getting away."

She clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms. "I'm not going anywhere with you. Not after everything you did."

Damon's gaze softened for the briefest of moments, a flicker of something almost like regret crossing his face. It disappeared too quickly for her to truly believe it.

"Don't make this harder than it has to be," Damon said, his tone taking on an almost pleading quality. "We don't have to fight. We just need to bring you back to the pack. To us."

Ember's laugh was bitter, almost cruel. "You want me back with you? After everything?" She took a step back, shaking her head. "No. I don't belong there anymore. I don't belong with you."

Damon stepped forward, his eyes narrowing with a predatory gleam. "You never left, Ember. You've always been a part of this pack. And you're coming back where you belong."

The world seemed to tilt on its axis as a familiar, deeper voice joined the conversation.

"She's not coming anywhere with either of you," Xavier's voice carried from the shadows. The second-born twin emerged from the dark, his presence just as commanding as Damon's. Where Damon's eyes glowed amber with power, Xavier's held a deeper, more dangerous hue. There was no softness in Xavier. Only the brutal force of the Alpha blood running through his veins. He was a reflection of everything Ember had feared-and hated-since the day her life was torn apart.

"Xavier," Ember snarled, her heart racing again, but this time it wasn't from fear. It was from rage. "You don't get to tell me where I belong."

"You don't get to choose," Xavier replied, his voice cold. "You were marked long before you ever realized it."

The words hit her like a physical blow, and for a moment, she struggled to breathe. "Marked?" she repeated, her voice breaking.

Damon's lips curled upward slightly, a faint but sinister smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. "You didn't think we'd forget, did you?" His eyes softened only for a heartbeat before the dominance returned, the Alpha aura swirling around him. "You were always meant to be ours, Ember."

She recoiled at the words. "No," she whispered, almost to herself. "No, I'm not."

Her back stiffened, her pulse thundering in her ears as her mind screamed at her to run, to get away. The cold wind whispered through the trees, carrying with it the scent of the wolves who had chased her here. But the real truth hit her in waves-no matter how fast she ran, no matter how far she tried to go, the past always seemed to catch up. And these two... these Alpha twins, would never let her escape.

"Don't," she whispered, her voice trembling despite her best efforts. "I never wanted this."

Xavier took a step closer, his eyes fixed on her. There was something in them that made her breath catch-a glimmer of something deeper, more ancient. "But it's already been decided, Ember. You're our mate. Whether you want to accept it or not."

Ember shook her head, disbelieving. "I don't want this. I don't want either of you. I don't want to be your mate."

Damon's eyes flicked to Xavier briefly, before turning back to Ember. "You don't get to choose. We marked you already. The bond is there. You belong to us, and we won't let you go."

"Don't touch me," she hissed, stepping back, but she was already backed into a corner. The weight of the forest seemed to close in on her, and she realized there was no escape. The pack would always be after her, always searching, always hunting, like wolves after their prey.

Xavier's hand shot out, grabbing her wrist before she could react. His grip was tight, unyielding. "You don't have a choice in this, Ember."

She struggled, trying to pull away, but her strength was nothing compared to his. And before she could even think of a way to escape, Damon was there, his fingers curling around her other arm.

"This ends now," Damon muttered, his voice low, just for her. "We're taking you back with us, whether you like it or not."

Ember fought harder, her teeth gritted in defiance. "I will never go back. You both betrayed me. You exiled me. You ruined my life!"

Xavier's jaw clenched, but there was no sign of remorse in his expression. "That was then. This is now, and we are not the same. You're our Mate, Ember. And that means everything."

"Not to me," she spat, her gaze hard. "Not anymore."

But Xavier wasn't listening. With a sudden, swift movement, he yanked her forward, pulling her into his chest. His breath was hot against her skin as his fangs lengthened, gleaming in the moonlight.

"You can't reject the bond, Ember," he said softly, almost cruelly, as he lifted her chin with one finger. "It's already been sealed."

Before she could react, Damon did the same on her other side. In one swift motion, both twins sank their fangs deep into her neck, marking her forcefully.

Pain surged through her as she screamed, her body trembling from the force of their bite. But worse than the pain was the feeling-the terrifying, electrifying sensation of the bond connecting them, coursing through her veins like wildfire. Her body betrayed her, trembling under their touch, her heart hammering with an unfamiliar rhythm.

"You're ours now," Damon whispered against her ear, his voice a dangerous caress. "And you'll never be free of us again."

Ember's vision blurred as the world spun out of control. The pain subsided, leaving only the weight of the bond, the bond she had tried so desperately to resist. The bond that tied her to them, whether she wanted it or not.

She knew no matter how far she ran, no matter how hard she fought, the Alpha twins would always find her. And the worst part? She couldn't escape them.

I stood at my mother’s open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest’s voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone—he brought Charla with him. He claimed she’d had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.

The heavy thud of the release stamp was the only goodbye I got from the warden after five years in federal prison. I stepped out into the blinding sun, expecting the same flash of paparazzi bulbs that had seen me dragged away in handcuffs, but there was only a single black limousine idling on the shoulder of the road. Inside sat my mother and sister, clutching champagne and looking at my frayed coat with pure disgust. They didn't offer a welcome home; instead, they tossed a thick legal document onto the table and told me I was dead to the city. "Gavin and I are getting engaged," my sister Mia sneered, flicking a credit card at me like I was a stray dog. "He doesn't need a convict ex-fiancée hanging around." Even after I saved their lives from an armed kidnapping attempt by ramming the attackers off the road, they rewarded me by leaving me stranded in the dirt. When I finally ran into Gavin, the man who had framed me, he pinned me against a wall and threatened to send me back to a cell if I ever dared to show my face at their wedding. They had stolen my biotech research, ruined my name, and let me rot for half a decade while they lived off my brilliance. They thought they had broken me, leaving me with nothing but an expired chapstick and a few old photos in a plastic bag. What they didn't know was that I had spent those five years becoming "Dr. X," a shadow consultant with five hundred million dollars in crypto and a secret that would bring the city to its knees. I wasn't just a victim anymore; I was a weapon, and I was pregnant with the heir they thought they had erased. I walked into the Melton estate and made an offer to the most powerful man in New York. "I'll save your grandfather's life," I told Horatio Melton, staring him down. "But the price is your last name. I'm taking back what's mine, and I'm starting with the man who thinks he's marrying my sister."
