Chapter 1 Part 1

MARUH'S POV

Blaaaaag!

A loud crash of something woke me up in the living room from the kitchen, where I was writing.

Confused, I saw mama enter the house with a sigh of relief.

"Maruh ?! Son ?!" mama called me while looking around the living room.

"Maruh ?!"

"Ma?" I call to him as I walk towards the living room. "Are you all right?" my innocent question.

"Nak, ahm, you want us to play?" confused towards just what I answered. "Mama and Maruh .. ahm .. ah will play hide and seek. Do you like that huh?" he added while chasing the breath digging into my face.

'' yes ma. But, 'don't you want me to play? ..' 'I asked mama in surprise. "..and then, where are you from? Why are you sweating?" I asked a series of questions.

"Ah, what .. mama walked a long way." he replied with a smile. "Mama is willing for you to play, as long as you listen to me carefully, do you understand mama?" I did nothing but nod because that's what kids like, isn't it? To be able to play.

"You'll hide well, where mama or anyone else can't see you. Mama will look for you, okay? '' He said staring.

"All right!" I said happily.

"Don't come out and don't make any noise until I find you, okay?" He told me as tears flowed.

'' Mom, why are you crying? Is there ... is anything wrong with you? '' I asked in tears.

"No children, mama is just happy because you are what papa God gave me." He forced a smile.

'' Me too, I love you so much! You are the best mama in the whole world for me! '' I said with a smile. He hugged me tightly.

"All right, son, let's play, mama is going to count, huh?" I nodded again to agree.

Why do I feel, that's the last time I can hug him so tightly?

Mama started counting. At the same time it was my action to find a hiding place.

I looked for a place where I could hide. I hid in a cabinet in the living room. I struggled to fit myself into the small space.

From inside the cabinet, I saw mama leave her seat and go upstairs to the bedroom.

I've been hiding for a few minutes. Until it was half an hour and I was having a hard time in my seat. Even so, I could not bear the pain that enveloped my body.

Time passed but I still stayed in the small and cramped wooden square I was laying on. Later vehicles arrived. There were men who recklessly entered our house and they were armed.

I peeked through the small opening of the cabinet to see the men who were strangers to me.

'' Search the whole house! I'm sure that traitor is just hiding! 'Don't stop until you see and are presented to me!' 'Shouted a strong man to his companions.

'Who are these people?' I asked myself .. as if I could get an answer right away.

Moments later, one of the male companions suddenly shouted.

'' Boss !! Here! '' He shouted from the top of the room.

My eyes widened when I saw mama holding onto her hair and forcibly dragging towards the front of the man's recognized boss, causing mama's face to sink to the floor.

'Mom !!' only cry of my brain.

"Aaahh!" mom moaned.

But the man was still not satisfied .. My eyes widened in shock when he slapped mama. I shivered in fear when the man slapped mama again and fell to the floor again.

Given the size of the man's body, I'm sure the part of my mother's cheek would bleed from the slap of her wide palm.

'mama' I cried as I whispered.

I was about to come out of hiding ... when it forcibly touched mama's hair, causing her to look up and complain of pain.

Again it entered my mind to come out of hiding to stop the man from hurting my mother. But in the end I was led by fear.

I remembered again what mama had told me earlier before we started playing.

'Don't go out and' don't make noise until I find you '

'Don't go out and' don't make any noise until I find you 'mama said over and over in my brain.

"You thought you could run away from me huh? You're still tired of me finding you! T *ng *na ka! You're just hiding here!" the man said angrily as he held mama's face tightly.

"What a pity for you Meredith! You're beautiful..smart and can still be useful!" every word he uttered was terrifying. "After all, I'll benefit you a lot! It's just that I'm not used to picking up trash and a traitor like you! Where are you hiding him !? Where !?" the man's face flushed with anger.

'' You are a coward and weak Demetri! Because you only rely on the actions of your staff! I thought you were smart, but I was wrong. Because you are a useless one! A useless demon who dares .. but the truth is, you are just waiting to be attacked. Pweeh !! '' mama spat at the man she called Demetri. "We're going to die, but you can't see 'him'!"

Who do they refer to as 'she'?

''Hahahaha!!! Useless, me? And who do you think you are for me to believe? "He said while wiping his face.

"I'll see him even if you don't tell me. Because even in the depths of hell you hide him, I will look for him. And when I find him .. I will torture him that even your soul in hell can do nothing!" his eyes glazed over and then faced his fellow men.

"Even if I pledge your soul to Satan, I will look for him! Tie it to the table and undress!"

"'Wag! Have mercy on Demetri!' Wag !!" mama's plea.

"'Don't worry. Before I look for him in hell, I'll take you to heaven first! Hahaha !!!' '

'' You demon! Release me! Let me go I said! I feel sorry for you! Let me go! ''

It's a dream! But why do I feel .. all this is happening right now?

Nightmare !!

That's what I can call my dream! That to this day, the ghost of the past continues to haunt me!

That offhand comment became my life's beacon, guiding every choice, meticulously planning my twenty-second birthday as our destiny. But on that pivotal day in a Lower East Side bar, clutching my gift, my dream exploded. I overheard Jax' s cold voice: "Can't believe Savvy's showing up. She' s still hung up on that stupid thing I said." Then the crushing plot: "We' re gonna tell Savvy I' m engaged to Chloe, maybe even hint she' s pregnant. That should scare her off." My gift, my future, slipped from my numb fingers. I fled into the cold New York rain, devastated by betrayal. Later, Jax introduced Chloe as his "fiancée" while his bandmates mocked my "adorable crush"-he did nothing. As an art installation fell, he saved Chloe, abandoning me to severe injury. In the hospital, he came for "damage control," then shockingly shoved me into a fountain, leaving me to bleed, calling me a "jealous psycho." Was I just a problem, my loyalty met with hatred? I would not be his victim. Injured and betrayed, I made an unshakeable vow: I was done. I blocked his number and everyone connected to him, severing ties. This was not an escape; this was my rebirth. Florence awaited, a new life on my terms, unburdened by broken promises.
