Belle is an ordinary teenager, she has few friends, she goes to school (and she hates it), she has three triplet brothers who would do anything to protect their little sister. She is just like the others with one detail: everyone around her is werewolves, vampires, angels, giants, dragons, witches... In any case, they are not beings of this world. She will have to, with her partner and friends, recruit allies for the coming war, yet, in addition to everything, she discovers something that will change her whole life. Belle's fate is written in the red moon.

Chapter 1 Surprise

"Happy birthday Belle! Wake up now!" In the early morning, while I was still enjoying my late sleep, I heard my brother Brandon yelling in my ear. I moaned and covered my head with my pillow to try to get rid of him.

"Go away! I'm trying to sleep!" I shouted through the pillow, even though I was sure that my voice came out choked. Shortly after, I heard Ryan, the eldest of the triplets, ask me in a teasing way:

"Well, if you don't get up right away, we'll have to force you to do it. Are you sure that's what you want?" Instead of answering him, I turned my head the other way round.

"Very good Belle! You don't give us a choice then", said Charles, the youngest before everything became strangely silent. Just when I was about to check what they had intended to do, I found myself on the ground with three huge burdens on me. I moaned desperately when their weight crushed me.

"Why are you so stupid? ", I yelled at them when they finally managed to let go of me. I didn't really think what I had said; I could never. Although they are very boring, they are the best brothers someone can have.

"Because we love you, little idiot! ", Ryan strongly replied as he rested on his elbows, while looking at me with a teasing smile. Yes, and he was supposed to be the most mature.

Unfortunately, not at all.

"Come on, get up now! School starts soon and mom has prepared a surprise birthday breakfast for you. "

I looked at them as if they were stupid (what they were), that they thought it was going to make me move.

"Can't I stay at home? It's my last day anyway, so where's the problem? ", I asked them while biting my lip, trying to stop myself from laughing, since they were wearing colorful party hats.

They ended up persuading me to get up.However, it was not easy. They had to convince me, and above all, bribe me with cookies. I slowly got up before heading to the bathroom and taking a quick shower. Once I finished, I went out and changed. I approached my mirror to examine my appearance. I've always dressed simply. I put on a plain black T-shirt with blue jeans and sneakers. I didn't think someone had to dress well for school. What's the point?

I tied my hair in a ponytail, without putting a lot of makeup on myself since I didn't wear it at all. Some girls liked to wear it, but I was not one of them. I just didn't like the "sensation" it gave me on my face. Once satisfied with my appearance, I went down, but I bumped and crashed into someone's chest. I looked up and saw that it was Ryan. I then went to Brandon, then finally to Charles. The moment they put me down, I was out of breath.

I thought they were trying to kill me.

I loved them with all my heart and I knew that this feeling was reciprocal, but they sometimes forgot that they were stronger than me. My surprise breakfast was composed of pancakes with chocolate.Miam! It was a dream breakfast, even though Charles tried to steal one of my pancakes, which almost pushed me to stab his hand. Twice, indeed.

No one touches my food.

After eating my delicious breakfast, I went upstairs to pick up my bag and homework that I had forgotten to put away. Once I had packed everything, I went down. I said goodbye to my parents before jumping into my brothers' car. The trip was silent, me reading one of my favorite books, Charles and Brandon glued to their phones, and Ryan driving.

Honestly, I was so happy to leave this place for a year. For some reason, my school was really lagging behind. They always continued to attack the "nerds" of the school. What was pretty much just me. Of course, there were "geeks", but everyone classified me among the "nerds", stupid labels. I was constantly harassed, but what could I do about it? Maybe I was going to be able to defend myself? Indeed, there is a serious problem with this.

Edmond de la Combe.

He was a football player, handsome, but a perfect moron. And the main reason why my life at school was hell. Of course, one day, I just wanted to erase that sufficient smile from his face, but then I remembered that he was the future Alpha. We couldn't get in trouble with them. People seemed to like to call me "Lost Belle the Nerd".

It didn't even rhyme!

Indeed, I kept remembering that it was my last day in this place in a while. I was dying of impatience to be freed from them later in the day.

Finally, when I arrived on the school grounds, I looked around and saw everyone hanging out and talking with their friends. At least, I knew I had a few people waiting for me inside.

They made being there a little less painful. With this thought, I got out of the car, just like my brothers.

"What are you guys doing? "I asked them as they stood in front of me, crossing their arms on their chests, trying to look intimidating. I rolled my eyes before giving them my attention.

"Now that you are sixteen years old and can find yourself a companion, we want to discuss some things with you. First, when you find him, you must not let him mark you.

Secondly, if he has been bothering you from the beginning, you call us immediately. Don't try to play hard, call us and we will come as soon as possible. Finally, we will pick you up here and take the road right after. Understood? "

"Yes, my fathers, Goodbye!"After saying goodbye to them, I went to the entrance of the school. I watched them leave, which made me nervous. I swallowed while feeling people's eyes on me.But I couldn't concentrate on that, because only one thought was in my head.

"I hope I won't meet my companion today.What if.....?"

I woke up in a blindingly white hotel penthouse with a throbbing headache and the taste of betrayal in my mouth. The last thing I remembered was my stepsister, Cathie, handing me a flute of champagne at the charity gala with a smile that didn't reach her eyes. Now, a tall, dangerously handsome man walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his hips. On the nightstand sat a stack of hundred-dollar bills. My stepmother had finally done it—she drugged me and staged a scandal with a hired escort to destroy my reputation and my future. "Aisha! Is it true you spent the night with a gigolo?" The shouts of a dozen reporters echoed through the heavy oak door as camera flashes exploded through the peephole. My phone lit up with messages showing my bank accounts were already frozen. My father was invoking the 'morality clause' in my mother’s trust fund, and my fiancé had already released a statement dumping me to marry my stepsister instead. I was trapped, penniless, and being hunted by the press for a scandal I hadn't even participated in. My own family had sold me out for a payday, and the man standing in front of me was the only witness who could prove I was innocent—or finish me off for good. I didn't have time to cry. According to the fine print of the trust, I had thirty days to prove my "rehabilitation" through a legal marriage or I would lose everything. I tracked the man down to a coffee shop the next morning, watching him take a thick envelope of cash from a wealthy older woman. I sat across from him and slid a napkin with a $50,000 figure written on it. "I need a husband. Legal, paper-signed, and convincing." He looked at the number, then at me, a slow, crooked smile spreading across his face. I thought I was hiring a desperate gigolo to save my inheritance. I had no idea I was actually proposing to Dominic Fields, the reclusive billionaire shark who was currently planning a hostile takeover of my father’s entire empire.

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.
