Chapter 1 named the baby Andrew, Andrew Watson

Tonight is a stormy, rainy night.

Each bolt of lightning made the sky like a ferocious demon's face that disappeared and appeared suddenly. The wind blew past like a giant rake that wanted to carry everything on earth. The wind howled like it was conducting a battle chasing soldiers, causing each tree branch to tilt, struggling to cling to the motherland.

Everything was tinged with gloom in the storm, like dancing, shapeless monsters. And in that thick, ink-like night, a glimmer of golden fire appeared, not too obvious but fixed in the air. That fire was the light emanating from a castle.

Castle of the vampire royal family.

The maid entered and closed the door behind her, the wind howled like a monster was blocked outside, furiously pounding on the door, but no matter how hard it tried, it couldn't get inside.

The maid went up the stairs through the winding corridor and came to a room where many maids and midwives were waiting.

The two young maids standing guard opened the door, and the maid stepped inside.

The inside of the room was hot, but in that quiet space, each laboured breath sounded in intervals.

That breathing sound came from the side of the bed, and a woman was lying down. Her belly could be seen easily, and the woman was about to give birth.

"Duchess, you are trying to get up, try to use strength."

The woman's face was filled with tears, unable to distinguish between sweat and tears. Even though her face was ashen now, it was also very miserable, but it was easy to see that it was a beautiful face, with long wavy brown hair and emerald green eyes.

"Marilla, do your best, do your best."

Besides the midwives and maids surrounding the woman named Marilla, a man was holding her hand, with a worried face and constantly cheering.

Time passed with the midwife's urging and the woman's laboured moans.

It was still raining outside; thunder and lightning seemed to be fighting in the sky.

Each pot filled with blood was carried outside.

Everyone in the room was feverish when, from outside, a loud thunderclap suddenly sounded. The lightning seemed to make the sky split into two pieces. It was as if the night was suddenly changing in the bright space. During the day, the castle also shook as if it had just experienced a mild earthquake, and at that very moment, the sound of a baby's birth was heard in the room.

The heavy atmosphere in the room instantly vanished, replaced by sighs of relief and emotional laughter from the maids, midwives, and the man. Everyone's faces were happy. The man used a wet towel to wipe Marilla's face gently.

"You are outstanding, you are the strongest woman in the world, and you have protected our baby from being born safely."

Marilla tried to smile; even though she was exhausted, the happiness on her face could not be hidden.

At that moment, a midwife picked up the baby for them. The baby was now wrapped in a beautifully patterned towel, still crying loudly.

"Congratulations to the King, congratulations to the Duchess, the child is a prince, the prince is very healthy and plump."

The man called the King took the baby, and Marilla reached out to touch it too; perhaps the moment a mother feels her baby for the first time after birth is the most sacred moment in the world. Their faces were filled with happiness.

But at that moment, the baby was not returned to his mother's arms but given to a maid.

"Karina, tonight, I give you the prince a very solemn task: to protect and bring him to the human world and find a decent family that can adopt him.." The old maid took the baby, her face sunken, and she nodded.

"Yes, I will do my best to do the duty well."

At this moment, Marilla suddenly burst into tears. No mother has to leave her child without heartbreak, especially when that child has just been born.

"Marilla, please don't be heartbroken. I'm so sorry that I can't guarantee your safety. If we leave our child here, Julie will kill him, and the Sherry family rulers will not spare any other children born other than Julie's. In the human world, our children will be best protected and raised. Then one day our family will be reunited."

"I know." Marilla wiped her tears and then nervously looked at the baby in Karina's arms. Currently, the country's power is not unified in the hands of the King, but half of the military force is held by Matthew Sherry. And his daughter - Julie Sherry, is the Queen of this Kingdom. There is no other way to protect their baby but to send it to the human world.

"Eighteen years later, we will bring back the child, who will be my sole heir." The King put his hand to his chest, pulled out a necklace with a gold pendant engraved with the word Andrew, and put it next to the baby.

"I named the baby Andrew, Andrew Watson."

Marilla neither wants her child to be an heir nor anything nor the pain of separation she endures, then Andrew can have a peaceful and peaceful life, even if he never returns home and she never meets him again.

But this vampire identity, and that necklace, predestined Andrew's fate not to be peaceful.

And so that very night, Karina quietly left the castle with the child and entered the human world. She seemed to be the only one walking on the road in the pouring rain. The thunder and the cold of the rain made the child cry non-stop, to the point that the old nanny felt pity and hugged the baby in her lap, using his warmth to warm him.

The baby hasn't even tasted the mother's milk and has to leave, which is a real misfortune.
