Tom Calvin, the youngest Canadian billionaire, was just stepping out of his 16 million dollar worth Porsche Cayman, headed straight to his Range Rover sports. His bodyguards surrounded him as he walked, chests beating like bass drums, easy to be noticed from the tight T-shirts they wore.
He had an appointment to meet up with an old friend of his; and he was being accompanied by his best friend, Gaius. He and Gaius were the closest friends anyone could ever see.
Tom was a billionaire and a hedonist. He believed that one should have so much pleasure as he could get.
As a twelve years old kid, Tom made his first million, and since then had pursued wealth, doing everything he did ten times better. Finally, on getting to thirty, Tom hit his first billion, and still continued pushing forward.
Despite all that hardworking, Tom believed that pleasure was critical to a balanced life. He always fixed enough time to have all sorts of pleasure he desired, and would never defer from any appointment concerning pleasure. This made people wonder how he was able to balance a life of working really hard and flexing frequently as well, since most people believed that fun had to be sacrificed in order for one to achieve one's dreams.
Tom's old friend whom he was going to see that day was a restaurant manager and she used to be Tom's bestie during their highschool days. Her name was Stacey.
"Hey, Gaius," Tom called as they came nearer the Range Rover. "Do you think Stacey's added some weight now? You know she used to be really slim now."
"I don't know," Gaius laughed. "Hey wait a minute! She didn't send you...like a picture or something before you decided to visit?"
"Um... She did, but it was from six years ago. She said she hasn't been taking pictures for a long time now. I don't know what kind of life could cause such a thing," Tom answered.
"Bro, that's awkward," Gaius said.
"I know, but I just feel this need to reconnect with her," Tom said.
"When we get into the car, you'll explain what you mean by 'reconnect'," Gaius said with a smirk.
Tom laughed and they continued to the car.
It didn't take much time before they drove off. The flashy black Range Rover sports had only four people in it; a driver, a bodyguard who sat by the front passenger seat, and then Tom and Gaius seated at the rear seat. There were two other cars with them, carrying the rest of the bodyguards. One car drove in front and the other one behind them.
"So what does that word, 'reconnect', insinuate?" Asked Gaius.
Tom laughed hard. "I don't know how to explain it now that you've got this suspicious look on your face!"
"C'mon go ahead. I know your ways," Gaius said.
"Then you should understand without me having to explain a thing..." Tom suggested.
"I'm sorry, I'm not a wizard, bro. Hey! Tom! Give me the explanation I asked of!" Gaius demanded.
"Alright... Chill... I'll explain," Tom said, taking in a deep breathe.
