Second chance mate
Adventure Raleigh, age 18 is the daughter of the respected Marius family. A family that has held the position Beta in the Moon Lotus Pack for generations.
As such, Raleigh should be a being of power and strength, a perfect symbolism of the Marius family. Unfortunately, like most children born with heavy expectations placed on them, she falls short, much to the disgust and disappointment of her parents.
She however finds solace in her longtime childhood friend, first love and soon discovered mate Kai, but even he soo turns his back on her.
Alone and completely dejected, she leaves the only home she has ever known on a quest for a new life, only to encounter more problems and in a drastic twist of fate seeks refuge in the Blood Moon Pack.
Enter Einar, the young alpha of Blood Moon, who just like Raleigh had responsibilities thrust on him and the very last thing he needs is a young clueless refugee adding more problems to his life.
Raleigh would also prefer to stay as far away from Einar as physically possible but fate is a funny thing and they soon discover they are each other’s second chance mate much to their chagrin and their intense dislike for each other only seems to rise.
Will Einar and Raleigh’s reluctant bond be enough to fight their inner demons and overcome the perils of a ticking clock, or will their second chance at love wither away?

The aim behind this piece is simple. As said in the first edition, it is about entertaining, enlightening, inspiring or motivating and enabling people think for themselves.
