Their Shared Secret, Her Sweet Victory

Their Shared Secret, Her Sweet Victory

The heavy satin of my wedding dress felt like a shroud. Today was supposed to be the most joyous day, marrying Ethan Davenport, cementing a powerful alliance. Instead, I was trapped in darkness, my screams muffled by the thick, soundproof walls of a panic room. Jessica Miller, my childhood companion, had drugged me. I clawed my way out, nails broken and bleeding, only to stumble into my own reception. And there she was, radiant in my gown, standing beside my groom. "Jessica? Ethan, what is happening?" I croaked, my voice raw. Jessica's face was a mask of feigned concern, her lies echoing through the ballroom. "Oh, Sarah, why are you doing this? You know Ethan and I are in love." Whispers of "unstable" and "breakdown" filled the air as security, loyal to her family, dragged me away. Ethan looked at me, his face unreadable, before turning back to Jessica. My heart shattered into a million pieces. They threw me into the cold New England night. A blinding flash of headlights. A screech of tires. Then, nothing. I gasped, shooting upright in my own bed, sunlight streaming through the window. My heart hammered against my ribs, echoing the terror of what had just been. The date on my phone brought a chilling realization: it was the day before the wedding. I was alive. A new message popped up from Jessica Miller in the family chat: "So excited to marry my love, Ethan, tomorrow!" My blood ran cold. Her audacity was shocking, but this time, I knew. This time, she wouldn't win.

Break. In her quest for "Help", Liane made the mistake of going to visit Brek without Rose knowing about it. So she convinced Brek to do what Rose struggles to do. The latter accepted and some time later, Rose discovered the truth in Brek's mouth and decided to go and vent her anger on her. (That's where we were but we don't know exactly what she intends to go and do it to him) It should also be noted that the presence of Brek remains also mysterious in this story and no one knows much about him maybe only if but until now, the story has not yet revealed anything concrete about him apart from his seduction abilities that put Rose "out of the zone" The story has many things in store for us to discover and its title always has a step in the shadows which arouses a lot of curiosity.
A Second Chance, Not With You

A Second Chance, Not With You

For six years, Ava Miller, a struggling musician in Austin, had shared her life—and her dreams—with Ethan Cole, a charismatic motocross legend. Their home felt comfortable, their routine established; she believed they were on an unspoken path toward forever. But her world crumbled when a drunken confession from Ethan’s closest friend revealed a devastating truth: Ava was merely a carefully chosen understudy, a "practice girlfriend," serving as a convenient placeholder for Ethan’s long-standing, unrequited obsession with his high school sweetheart, Chloe Vance. The betrayal was gut-wrenching. Ethan’s deepening disinterest was palpable, her birthday forgotten while he openly pursued Chloe. The vicious cycle escalated when Chloe’s jealous machinations led to Ava being brutally hit by a car. Yet, even from her hospital bed, Ethan, hopelessly blind to Chloe’s malice, coldly hung up on the nurses, dismissing Ava’s severe injuries as a mere act for "attention." Utterly discarded and bleeding, Ava was left to grapple with the horrifying realization: every tender moment, every song she’d penned for him, felt like a meticulously crafted lie. The man she loved saw her as less than nothing, a disposable echo of another woman. Was her entire existence with him a cruel illusion? With her spirit shattered but an unbreakable resolve forged in despair, Ava made the definitive choice to leave everything behind. She fled Austin for Boston, embracing a new path set by her family: an arranged marriage to a kind, stable doctor. But in a twist of fate, the past refused to stay buried, resurfacing dramatically on the very day Ava sought her new beginning.
The Art of Vengeance

The Art of Vengeance

The first thing I felt was pain-a searing acid burning my face-as voices outside my hospital room whispered low and urgent. My eyes were bandaged, but I knew the sterile scent of a private ward. This was Noah' s doing, my brilliant tech mogul fiancé, who' d promised me the world. We were the perfect couple, splashed across magazines, set to marry in a week. Then, a woman, twisted with adoration for Noah, threw acid at me. The police called it a jealous fan. My world dissolved into agony and darkness. I lay in that expensive bed, hopeful when I heard Liam, Noah' s manager, and Noah himself, my Noah, just outside. My heart fluttered. He was here for me. But then, Liam spoke, low and clear: "The wedding is next week, Noah. You can't marry her like this." A cold dread replaced the burning on my face. Noah' s voice, flat and devoid of warmth, sliced through any hope: "I'm not going to marry her." The words blurred until he continued, "More severe than I anticipated." He meant the acid. My breathing stopped. He had anticipated it? Liam' s choked whisper confirmed my terror: "You didn't…" "Of course I did," Noah snapped. "That crazy fan? I've had her on a private payroll for months... I just needed something to take Ava out of the public eye permanently. Something that would make her so broken, so grateful for my care, that she' d agree to anything." The world tilted. He wanted me disfigured, dependent, hidden away, his tragic reclusive artist, so he could be free to marry Chloe and bring their son, Ethan, "into the light." Every loving word, every tender touch, was a lie. He didn' t just leave me; he orchestrated my ruin to build his perfect life. The physical pain was nothing compared to the absolute shatter of my soul. But in that wreckage, a cold, hard rage bloomed. He thought he buried Ava. He just created a monster. And I wouldn't stop until he regretted every single thing he had done.
