With surprising strength, she grabbed my wrist, pulling it in front of her. She gasped as she saw the blood covering my knuckles. "Andrew... you're hurt," she said, her voice laced with shock and worry. I could feel her gaze on me, intense and focused, as if she was searching for answers.
