Fate's second embrace
through her veins the night before. She looked around, taking in her surroundings. They were home, but nothing felt right. The events of the previous night still felt like a dream
a realized that she was on her own. She was going to have to figure out what was going on by herself, because Mona was clearly not going to tell her. With a sense of determination, Eva stood up and walked out of the kitchen. She was going to get to the bottom of this, no matter what it took. As she walked away, Eva heard Mona's voice behind her. "Eva, be careful," she said. "Please." Eva turned around, but Mona was already gone, disappeared into her room. Eva was left standing alone, wondering what she had just gotten herself into. She walked over to the window and looked out, trying to clear her head. But as she gazed out at the familiar streets of their neighborhood, she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. It was as if she was living in a dream, and she couldn't wake up. Eva's mind was racing with questions, but she had no answers. She decided to try and distract herself by taking a shower and getting dressed. But as she stood under the warm water, she couldn't help but feel like she was being watched. She quickly got out of the shower and got dressed
