lair's POV I tiptoed around the house, wincing as the pain in my leg intensified. I hadn't taken the gate for fear that the guards would capture me. I was no longer their Luna but a murderer, so their loyalty lay only with their Alpha. I had climbed in through the wall at the back of the house, which only I and Slone knew about. I had been shocked he didn't put men there, but I was soon grateful. I had made it into the house undetected, which in itself was a miracle.
