Amada smiled and laughed, pretending to be happy, but inside, she was dying. She felt like she was trapped in a never-ending nightmare, with no escape in sight. As the night wore on, Amada found herself alone with Prince Ryker. They were standing on the balcony, looking out over the gardens, and Amada felt a sense of desperation wash over her.
