ly sleep, I kept turning restlessly on the bed. I thought of everything that happened between Zayden and I. It was all his fault to begin with, how dare he talk to me that way!? His fault or not, it was me who was going to bear the brunt of everything that happened. The next morning, I woke up pretty early as always. I was dressed in my red shirt and black pants. I picked up my small purse and I headed out of the house. On my way to work, I could sense some people stealing glances at me. If what I'm actually thinking is true then I'm doomed for sure. I got to the restaurant and surprisingly, my manager was waiting at the front. When she saw me, she glared at me harshly. She said spitefully. I was about asking what I had done wrong when she slapped me harshly, my face stung and I almost began crying."Do you know what you've fuckin done!!? You've brought my prestigious restaurant to the mud!" She yelled, gaining the attention of passers-by.
