"Is a person there?" Leo called, his voice trembling. "Let's check it out," Jake stated, trying to sound braver than he felt. They moved carefully closer to the light, the oppressive darkness urgent in around them. As they approached, Jake's coronary heart raced. The mild pulsed softly, illuminating a small, hidden alcove. Inside, they discovered a stone pedestal with an object resting on it-a small, intricately carved idol, its floor shimmering with an otherworldly glow. "Wow," Sam breathed, stepping forward. "What is that?" "I don't recognize, however it looks substantial," Jake answered, feeling a combination of awe and warning. "We need to record it, however permit's be careful." As they reached out to the touch the idol, the floor trembled under their toes, and a deep rumbling stuffed the air. The partitions of the chamber commenced to crack, and dirt rained down from above. "Get again!" Marcus shouted, pulling Leo far from the pedestal. "We want to go away-now!" They scrambled in the direction of the doorway because the tremors intensified. The temple groaned, and stones began to tumble from the ceiling. Jake felt a surge of panic, adrenaline fueling his movements.
