The Howardian Kingdom.
A rope was tying Karmila's hands to her back. Due to her dashing into the deep bush where she is now trapped, her formerly exquisite and costly dress is dirty and has multiple holes. The Princess now has a beggar's look. She also has a few scratch marks on her face.
Even though they were walking, she didn't appear to be alive. She just stood there and stared as they moved. Her feet were already in excruciating pain, but the pain in her foot was no longer mending.
Soldiers who once looked up to her are now detaining her as if they had forgotten who she is. As if they didn't know who the genuine successor to the Howard Kingdom was.
"You all vowed devotion to my father..." Her heart broke whenever he spoke to her Father, the King. "You are useless in my kingdom!" She said absolutely to the soldiers who were quietly listening to her.
What did the General do to cause the Howard troops to abandon the King and betray her Father? Her Father, the King, was kind in every way. Her Father was a King who regarded his subjects as though they were his own family?
They arrived at Howard center a few hours ago. The residents of Serenity greeted them as soon as they walked into the center. As she glanced at them, her face was expressionless. Everyone kept their gaze away from her. They had empathy for the Princess, but there was nothing they could do because they knew that anyone who attempted to help her would be executed.
She was tethered to a pole and encircled by wood.
"Is this my form of retribution?"
Karmila's heart snapped in half as she remembered what had happened to her entire tribe in the blink of an eye. Because her whole family was cruelly murdered by the General who had bad intentions in the Kingdom of Howard, she was the only one with royal blood remaining.
He was so desperate for the throne and power that he would have been content with his current status as a General.
"Pay homage to the King!" exclaims the announcer.
The Princess was stunned by what she had heard and got much more enraged when she saw the phony King riding the Palanquin. She wants to kill the Phony King and strangle him till he suffocates while she tries to break free.
"By the time I get out of here, I'm not going to lose any opportunity to murder you!" she thought.
When she saw anything that reminded her of Father King, she couldn't help but cry. The fake King now wears his Father's fine and costly attire and the Serenity Crown. The throne has abruptly lost its dignity. As if he were the genuine King, the guy sat on the Palanquin. It gave her a direct stare.
Instead of fighting to break free from her enslavement, she battled to look at the phony King. As they looked, he had rage and hatred in his eyes, as did Karmila.
The King went down to the Palanquin and approached her. It comes her with a flaming stick in its hand. Because of the power with which the phony King smacked the Princess, the edge of her lip bled. The apparent blood flowing from the side of her lip and nose made everyone groan.
Karmila filled her with rage and fury for the blasphemy he had committed to her family. No one could harm him when his Father King was still alive, but that law is no longer effective.
