The Moons Daughter 1

JAMES looked out the window as the car pulled up to the front of his new school. He took a deep breath and stepped out of the car, trying to ignore the stares of the other students. James knew that he was different from everyone else. He was a werewolf, and he had just transferred to this new school to start fresh. As he walked through the halls, James tried to keep his head down and avoid drawing attention to himself. But it wasn't easy. He could feel the eyes of the other students on him, and he knew that they could sense that he was different.

Just as James was starting to feel overwhelmed, he heard a voice behind him. "Hey, you're new here, right?" James turned around to see a girl with long brown hair and bright green eyes. "Yeah, I am," he replied. "I'm Lily," the girl said, holding out her hand. "I saw you walking around and I thought I'd say hi." James shook her hand, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. "Thanks, I appreciate it," he said. Lily smiled. "So, what do you think of the school so far?" "It's...different," James replied, trying to keep his tone neutral. Lily laughed. "Yeah, it can be a bit overwhelming at first. But don't worry, you'll get used to it. And if you need any help, just let me know." James felt a sense of gratitude towards Lily. She seemed to understand him, and he felt like he could trust her. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind," he said. As the two of them walked down the hall, James couldn't help but think about his life before he moved in with his aunt May. He had been turned into a werewolf on the same night that his parents got into a car accident, leaving him with no family left except for his aunt. She had taken him in and raised him as her own, but she had no idea about his secret. James knew that he had to keep his werewolf identity hidden from his aunt and everyone else at the school. But he also knew that it wouldn't be easy. As he looked around at the other students, he realized that he was going to have to be very careful if he wanted to keep his secret safe.
