It was a century ago when A pack of wolves decided to stop fighting. They must give up everything in order to gain the benefits of tranquility. Some of them opt to stay, while others choose to flee. Hide in the farthest reaches of the earth. In a world where they wouldn't be seen again. They give up a lot of material possessions. The wolves who had decided to give up everything gathered all of their best engineers and powerful members of the wolves who desired peace to construct a base in the underworld. Slowly, they've stopped talking about what they've lost, and they've forgotten that there was a way to get to the surface. A hundred years ago,   a group of wolves decided to give up war. They have to sacrifice everything just to reap the rewards called placidity. Though some of them choose to stay, some of them choose to hide.   Hide in the deepest part of the world. In a world where no one could see them again. They give up a lot of things that they used to have on the surface.    The group of wolves who decided to give up everything gathered all their best engineers and powerful members of the wolves who wanted peace to build a place in the underworld. Slowly, they haven't talked about what they lost, and eventually they forget that there was a path to reach the surface.    Yet time passes by as their population grows and their beliefs and opinions of them differ. However, because of how many hundreds of years have already passed by, they forget that there was a path to slink off at that place.   Slowly, they were lacking food, and the place was slowly collapsing because of the climate change from above.   Because, whether you liked it or not, there would always be people who were born voracious and greedy.   Because of those kinds of people, the place that was once called peaceful now turns into a warzone like the place that they elude back to the surface.   How could they bring back peace? How could they avoid war again? As their population rises, their views and perspectives on them diverge. They forget there was a passage to slink off at that location since hundreds of years have passed. They were gradually running out of food, and the area was gradually disintegrating due to climate change from above. Because there would always be people who were born voracious and greedy, whether you liked it or not. Because of people like them, a region that was once calm has now become a warzone, similar to the place where they eluded to the surface. What hope did they have of restoring peace? What chance did they have of avoiding another war?

Chapter 1 One

A few years ago,

"Come, Princess, I'll show you something."

Serena was awoken that night by an angelic voice that appeared from nowhere and escorted her to the window.

"Do you see that?" the angelic voice inquires.

"The forest?" the young princess inquired.

"Hmm, would you like to play with me there?" questioned the lovely voice.

"However, isn't it already dark?" queried the little princess.

"However, if a large number of people could see you, they would stop you."

The princess's delicate mind studied the situation carefully; the angelic voice was true; she would never receive consent from her father if she asked. This is the only way she will be able to reach her destination.

"All well, but promise me that we'll be back right away."

Serena's response was as follows. She was already in the forest's heart, shouting and sprinting.

"Help! Is there anyone left? Kindly assist!" She sobbed loudly. Her feet, like the rest of her body, were exhausted. She was aware of several stinging and painful sores located across her body.

She is unaware of how she arrived here. Her only recollection was of a stunning girl beaming at her in her dream. She was captivated by her beauty and pursued her relentlessly.

Her eyes grew wide with fear as she screamed, "Roar!" She was pursued by a swarm of dark, frightening creatures. She was trembling as she fled for her life. She was well aware that she would be slain if apprehended.

Run! Even though she could no longer bear it, her conscious mind pleaded with her to flee.

She could see that if she waited just a little longer, the sun would appear and assist her, but she slid to the ground... She had lost hope... in this place, she would perish.

Serena is still a pup, a princess of the crimson blood pack, a wolf pack that lives beneath the surface. The creature in this location had never seen the sun, moon, or even the entire world. Why? They were millions of feet above the ground due to their altitude.

Serena was constantly fascinated by everything, despite the fact that she lacked the freedom to pursue her passions.

She spent her entire childhood inside to her fortress, never venturing outside. Her parents and maids had always warned her.

"Don't go out there because there are a lot of animals hidden behind that beautiful forest," she was told, but something whispered in her ear on her seventh day of life as she slept.

In her ears, the heavenly voice was so lovely and seductive. "Everything you've been dreaming of has been there."

Her room was at the castle's apex, giving her a bird's-eye view of everything. She then made an attempt to flee. She entered the woods, and despite her fear of being alone in the dark forest, she simply ignored the thump of her heart. All she could think about was what lurked within the trees that terrified her parents. She could see a swarm of adorable creatures and even people in their realm from afar, and they were all rushing about excitedly attempting to enter the forest. She periodically came across a large group of children playing in the woods, surrounded by flowers. Adults occasionally returned with a huge animal slung to their backs.

"Ride on me, and I'll assist you in escaping them."

Then, as if by magic, a lovely young man with golden eyes materialized. As with the rest of their pack's adults, he transforms into a wolf-like beast.

From a lovely young man, he morphed into a bizarre raven hue while retaining his beautiful golden eyes.

She was smitten with him, particularly with his looks. She dreams of the day when she, too, will be able to transform into a beautiful wolf like him.

With the assistance of that boy, she crawled into the raven wolf's back.

They are faster than the rest of her gang. As a result, she was cognizant of the situation. She maintained a steady eye on her pack from her room, so she would always know who was the quickest of them all. She had never witnessed a boy walk as quickly as this one. Who knows, however, whether one of the newest wolves will be captured tomorrow. As they ran, she peered up at the hole above them. Then she noticed the sun was approaching a soaring position in the sky. She never stopped smiling while caring for the wolf, despite her scars and agony. Because she was convinced she had found her soul mate in this boy's shape, not for his disposition, but for the way he made her heart race and the butterfly in her stomach flutter.

They come to a halt beside the home of the crimson blood pack.

I'm not sure why we should take a break rather than immediately begin. Once the boy had placed me on the ground, I examined the area.

We came to a halt in the most magnificent location I've ever seen. There were numerous flowers covering the ground, a few trees in the area, a nearby waterfall, and a great number of singing birds soaring overhead, but then they would fly above a hundred holes, providing a little of light and energy to the setting. This was the first time I felt truly royal.

"Are you all right now?" the boy inquires, but the boy seems unconcerned. He appeared bored, or perhaps he couldn't care less. However, looking into his golden eyes reveals an abundance of emotions.

I was immediately exhausted, and so I closed my eyes briefly before reopening them as the boy shocked my body.

"Hey, are you OK?" However, the guy inquired, why do I feel as if I'm speaking with someone else? Even with the golden eyes remaining, something was off...

That was the first time I heard my name spoken by another person.

I sat on the cold tile floor of our Upper East Side penthouse, staring at the two pink lines until my vision blurred. After ten years of loving Julian Sterling and three years of a hollow marriage, I finally had the one thing that could bridge the distance between us. I was pregnant. But Julian didn't come home with flowers for our anniversary. He tossed a thick manila envelope onto the marble coffee table with a heavy thud. Fiona, the woman he'd truly loved for years, was back in New York, and he told me our "business deal" was officially over. "Sign it," He said, his voice flat and devoid of emotion. He looked at me with the cold detachment of a man selling a piece of unwanted furniture. When I hesitated, he told me to add a zero to the alimony if the money wasn't enough. I realized in that moment that if he knew about the baby, he wouldn't love me; he would simply take my child and give it to Fiona to raise. I shoved the pregnancy test into my pocket, signed the papers with a shaking hand, and lied through my teeth. When my morning sickness hit, I slumped to the floor to hide the truth. "It's just cramps," I gasped, watching him recoil as if I were contagious. To make him stay away, I invented a man named Jack-a fake boyfriend who supposedly gave me the kindness Julian never could. Suddenly, the man who wanted me gone became a monster of possessiveness. He threatened to "bury" a man who didn't exist while leaving me humiliated at his family's dinner to rush to Fiona's side. I was so broken that I even ate a cake I was deathly allergic to, then had to refuse life-saving steroids at the hospital because they would harm the fetus. Julian thinks he's stalling the divorce for two months to protect the family's reputation for his father's Jubilee. He thinks he's keeping his "property" on a short leash until the press dies down. He has no idea I'm using those sixty days to build a fortress for my child. By the time he realizes the truth, I'll be gone, and the Sterling heir will be far beyond his reach.

For seventeen years, I was the crown jewel of the Kensington empire, the perfect daughter groomed for a royal future. Then, a cream-colored envelope landed in my lap, bearing a gold crest and a truth that turned my world into ice. The DNA test result was a cold, hard zero percent-I wasn't a Kensington. Before the ink could even dry, my parents invited my replacement, a girl named Alleen, into the drawing room and treated me like a trespasser in my own home. My mother, who once hosted galas in my honor, wouldn't even look me in the eye as she stroked Alleen's arm, whispering that she was finally "safe." My father handed me a one-million-dollar check-a mere tip for a billionaire-and told me to leave immediately to avoid tanking the company's stock price. "You're a thief! You lived my life, you spent my money, and you don't get to keep the loot!" Alleen shrieked, trying to claw the designer jacket off my shoulders while my "parents" watched with clinical detachment. I was dumped on a gritty sidewalk in Queens with nothing but three trunks and the address of a struggling laborer I was now supposed to call "Dad." I traded a marble mansion for a crumbling walk-up where the air smelled of exhaust and my new bedroom was a literal storage closet. My biological family thought I was a broken princess, and the Kensingtons thought they had successfully erased me with a payoff and a non-disclosure agreement. They had no idea that while I was hauling trunks up four flights of stairs, my secret media empire was already preparing to move against them. As I sat on a thin mattress in the dark, I opened my encrypted laptop and sent a single command that would cost my former father ten million dollars by breakfast. They thought they were throwing me to the wolves, but they forgot one thing: I'm the one who leads the pack.
