Nyla's POV:

The next Alpha of the Black Moon Pack would be announced in tonight's banquet. Since this was a very significant event, the Alphas of almost all packs came.

But no matter how big this event was, it had nothing to do with me. I couldn't be part of it. After all, I was just an Omega, the lowest member of a pack.

My only role was to help in the preparation for the banquet. Thus, I had been very busy since early morning until now.

It was such a long day, and I hadn't rested even for one second. I felt like every nerve in my body was already complaining. I was so exhausted that I massaged my sore arms and decided to find a quiet place to rest.

However, since the entire place was crowded with guests and servants, I had difficulty finding an empty room.

Finally, I found an unlit room. I knew it was empty, so I opened the door. But to my surprise, a black figure suddenly pounced on me as soon as I entered.

Ahhh! I screamed in fear and instinctively stepped back.

But the black figure didn't intend to give me a chance to escape at all. Before I could run away, his strong arms hugged me tightly. Then he pressed me onto the bed.

Although I was scared, I plucked up the courage to ask, "Who are you? What do you want to do to me?"

As I spoke, I struggled desperately. Fortunately, the pale moonlight seeped through the windows. I barely made out the face of the black figure.

It was... Killian Cohen!

But how could it be him? What was he doing in this room?

He was one of the sons of the current Alpha of the Black Moon Pack. And he was chosen as the next Alpha. He should be the center of attention at this banquet.

My mind was in a mess. I really didn't understand why he was here all of a sudden.

At this moment, I heard a ripping sound. Then I felt cold in the front of me. It turned out my chest was already exposed.

Killian tore off my clothes frantically. I noticed that his eyes had already turned red.

I screamed, "Don't touch me!"

Then I struggled to press his shoulders hard to push him away. But my strength was no match for him. And I didn't even have a wolf. How could I stop him?

Killian's movements became more and more impudent. His big hands raged all over my body, touching my private parts without hesitation.

I trembled in panic. At the thought that I would be raped tonight, fear overwhelmed my heart.

Suddenly, a strange, wonderful feeling surged from the bottom of my heart, replacing my fear. Then, an indescribable current seemed to have exploded in my brain.

Was it a mate bond?

It must be it!

I was so shocked by this realization that I even forgot to struggle.

Never in my wildest dreams had I thought I would meet my mate in this way. And my mate was actually Killian, a terrible man. I had a terrible mate.

The mate bond made me stop struggling and let him do what he wanted. I even followed his movements in a daze. My body couldn't help but indulge in his touch.

I felt that Killian's rough fingertips scratched my delicate skin, making me shudder.

But it seemed he was not satisfied yet. He picked up my legs and put them on his shoulders. I clearly felt that the heat inside me intensified. It swelled and got deeper.
