I was with Jere Evans since I was eighteen years old.
Everyone knew how deeply I loved with him!
But he repeatedly betrayed me.
After seeing him kissing a college student once again at a bar outside, I decided to break up with him.
Jere, however, dismissed my words, saying, "Why bother chasing after her? It's not the first time she's asked for a breakup. The Wells Family demanded an exorbitant price of ten million dollars when they sold her to me. Can she even pay that back now? Without me, she can't even return home. Just wait and see, in a few days, she'll come back when she's calmed down."
But no one expected that I turned around and fell into the arms of wealthy and influential heir, and the very next day, we registered our marriage.
It wasn't until Jere saw me kissing Kevin Lambert, then he went mad trying to get me back.
Unfortunately, everything was too late!

The party was over, and I stood at the entrance of the bar.
Lighting a cigarette, I watched expressionlessly at the two people kissing not far away.
The girl was young, exuding the vibrancy of youth. With a shy expression, she stood on her tiptoes to leave a kiss mark on Jere's neck, saying, "You're mine now, I've marked you!"
Jere affectionately pinched the girl's cheek, smiling lazily and indulgently.
I had been with Jere since I was eighteen, a love that defied all societal norms.
Jere would cross half the city just to bring me a cup of coffee.
I would travel across most of Gaskierus just to watch fireworks with him.
Everyone said we were definitely going to get married.
But as time passed and the passion faded, our wedding date seemed to drift further away.
I looked at the girl's vibrant face, feeling a bit dazed. She looked so much like me at eighteen.
Was this why Jere shifting his love to another person?
Men, they only liked young girls after all.
"Jere, aren't you afraid your girlfriend will get jealous with you when you play like this?" Someone asked.
Jere, holding the girl, scoffed and said, "So what if she's jealous? She can't live without me. Besides, we've been together for so long, I've grown weary of her. Isn't it normal to want a change of taste occasionally?"
His close friend gave him a thumbs up, winking and saying, "Jere, you're the man, truly impressive. How about we take the young lady for a drink?"
I calmly watched them walk towards the bar.
Jere saw me standing at the door, his expression froze for a moment, then relaxed.
There was no trace of embarrassment from being caught by his girlfriend.
"Aimee Wells, you're here too! Do you want to meet my new friend, Roselyn Davies?" Jere smiled and said.
The young girl, seeing me, was visibly nervous and hid behind Jere.
"Jere, let's break up! From now on, we have nothing to do with each other!" I said.
