Once upon a time in the dark corners of Gotham City, a group of notorious criminals awaited their fate within the bleak confines of Belle Reve Penitentiary. They were the worst of the worst, feared by society and despised by those who still clung to the notion of justice. These criminals were known as the Suicide Squad.

Under the watchful eye of Amanda Waller, the unyielding director of Task Force X, the squad's purpose was clear: to carry out the most dangerous and covert missions deemed necessary for the greater good. With their lives hanging by a thread, the squad was forced to follow orders, lest their secrets and past sins be exposed to the world.

Among the squad members was Floyd Lawton, a lethal assassin with unparalleled precision known as Deadshot. His unerring aim had made him a legend, but it was his guilt over a past tragedy that haunted him. Then there was Harleen Quinzel, the enigmatic and unpredictable Harley Quinn, who danced on the edge of madness but still held a flicker of humanity within her damaged soul.

The squad's ranks were filled with other miscreants and outcasts. There was George "Digger" Harkness, better known as Captain Boomerang, a skilled thief with a penchant for deadly boomerangs. Killer Croc, a hulking reptilian creature with a savage appetite and a past shrouded in pain. Tatsu Yamashiro, also known as Katana, wielded a blade imbued with the souls of its victims, seeking redemption for her own troubled past.

But the squad's dynamics were about to change. A new member was introduced to the group, someone whose presence would challenge their very existence. It was none other than Slade Wilson, the deadly mercenary known as Deathstroke. With his tactical brilliance and unparalleled combat skills, Deathstroke had always operated as a lone wolf. But circumstances had forced him into the clutches of Task Force X.
