Lanny experienced his first overwhelming desire; in a haze, he ended up in bed with Belen. Over the next three years, though he never confessed his feelings, he became intensely obsessed with her body. Belen believed that with time she could win his heart, but instead received the news of him dating the other girl. "I've been pursuing her for a long time, and she finally agreed to be my girlfriend," Lanny said, looking into her eyes. "Let's not keep in touch anymore." Belen granted his wish and disappeared completely. But Lanny regretted his decision, desperately searching the world for her. He knelt before her in abject humility and pleaded, "Belen, come back to me, please?"

Chapter 1

Lanny Lewis had his first bout of sex addiction and ended up sleeping with Belen Gilbert.

For the next three years, he didn't tell her he loved her but was intensely obsessed with her physically.

Belen believed that she could win his heart after they had sex with each other for a long time. But she received news that he was dating a younger college student.

"I've been trying to win her over for a long time, and she finally agreed to be my girlfriend." Lanny looked into her eyes and said, "Let's not keep in touch anymore."

Belen disappeared completely from his life, as he wished later.

But Lanny regretted it. He searched frantically for her everywhere.

He humbly got down before her and pleaded, "Belen, please come back to me. Okay?"

"Once again, Lanny Lewis has won the middleweight championship in the UFC fight..." The television broadcast the moment of Lanny's victory.

At that moment, Lanny was forcefully making love to Belen beneath him on the large bed.

"Be gentle..." Belen knew too well that Lanny's stamina was comparable to that of a beast.

After every major competition, he would make love to her forcefully and leave her utterly exhausted.

As the morning came, Belen felt herself almost falling apart as Lanny stopped.

She sensed that he was rougher than before this time.

"Leave the key here before you go today. You don't need to come here anymore from now on." His sudden words snapped her out of her drowsiness. "Jayde agreed to be my girlfriend." Lanny gave a gentle smile. "Remember to take all your clothes and jewelry with you. She will be upset if she sees them."

He handed Belen a bank card and tossed it onto her. "Thanks for what you did in the past three years." Lanny's voice was flat. "Belen, you're 25 now. Have you thought about finding a good guy to settle down with?"

Belen nodded numbly and felt a sharp pain in her heart.

"When you get married, let my agent know, and I'll give you a good gift." Lanny seemed energetic, although he didn't sleep all night.

He got dressed and carefully chose a tie for himself. "What flowers do you women like?"

"Roses?" Belen responded.

"So tacky," Lanny sneered lightly. "Jayde is different from you. She's so hard to win over and has a proud and stubborn nature. She surely wouldn't like such ordinary flowers."

Without waiting for Belen to say anything more, he walked out of the room.

"Hss..." Belen's legs were weak as she got off the bed. She trembled all over.

She walked into the bathroom and looked at the marks all over in the mirror. Then she sighed helplessly.

She had been sleeping with Lanny for three years.

They were childhood friends and grew up together.

During the summer after the college entrance exams, she had gathered the courage to tell him that she loved him, but Lanny casually hooked an arm around her shoulder and said, "My mother asked if we were dating today. It's funny. We're as close as buddies. How can we date?"

Later, Belen went to a dance college far from home. She only met Lanny during winter break throughout her four years of college.

When she received the offer from the graduate school, she got drunk with her classmates, while Lanny was drugged by his opponent before a match that very evening.

He and Belen ended up sleeping together by accident.

After waking up, he promised to take responsibility. If they hadn't met anyone they loved by 25, they would be together.

Belen agreed impulsively.

From then on, their unconventional relationship began.

Lanny was a professional competitive fighter. He had a high physical demand and even greater sexual needs.

A month later, Belen discovered that Lanny was a sex addict.

The drug he was given that day couldn't be completely relieved after having sex once.

It would flare up every week.

Lanny tried to relieve it through working out, but it didn't seem to be useful.

So, she became his outlet.

Now it was time for her to leave because Lanny accidentally met one of the freshmen of the dance academy, Jayde Sullivan, half a year ago when Lanny came to pick Belen up from college.

Jayde was nineteen and looked so innocent.

Lanny was instantly captivated by Jayde.

He pursued her with various tactics, but she was unimpressed.

Jayde was dressed in a faded long dress and canvas shoes with worn soles. She looked detached and arrogant. "Please leave me alone. I don't want to be a kept woman for you, a womanizer."

Her stubborn demeanor didn't make Lanny give up. Instead, he was more obsessed.

During that period, when his addiction acted up, he preferred to relieve himself with Jayde's photo rather than having sex with Belen.

Belen slept until the afternoon, when she was awakened by a phone call.

It was Belen's mother, Ellen Gilbert.

"Hello, Mom."

"My dear." Ellen's voice came through the receiver. "Ms. Lambert's son is awake!"

"Is Jonathan awake?" Belen's eyes lit up. Then she pondered and said, "Mom, my graduation certificate will be available in seven days. You've always wanted to settle in Austland, right? I'll go with you after seven days."

Ellen was surprised. "What about Lanny? Is he willing to have a long-distance relationship with you?"

"We broke up," Belen replied, forcing a smile.

She had never dared to tell Ellen that she and Lanny had never started a romantic relationship.

"My dear, don't be sad. You will meet the right guy later..." Ellen sighed deeply. "Once you book your ticket, let me know. We can visit Jonathan in Austland as soon as possible."

"Okay."

After hanging up, Belen gave a smile.

Jonathan was four years older than she. She had always been nice, as if she were his sister. She got to know him even before she met Lanny.

Whenever Lanny saw her hanging out with Jonathan, Lanny would always make sarcastic comments.

Six years ago, Jonathan immigrated to Austland with his mother and ended up in a car accident. He then became a comatose patient.

Doctors said the chances of him waking were slim.

But unexpectedly, a medical miracle occurred with Jonathan.

Belen immediately freshened up, got dressed, and took everything related to her from the villa.

As she dragged her luggage downstairs, she saw Lanny entering with a pure and charming young woman.

Their gazes met.

"She's the live-in servant here..." Lanny quickly explained to Jayde.

Jayde's gaze fell on the red marks on Belen's neck. She said in a disappointed tone, "Belen, you were always my idol. I admired you as an exceptional dancer, but it turns out you sell yourself secretly."

Belen was momentarily speechless.

Jayde turned to Lanny and said, "Mr. Lewis, don't forget that we're currently in a relationship. I will never stoop to selling my body like her. You're still under observation. If you dare touch me, we will break up immediately."

"Jayde, don't be upset. You're different from her." Lanny held Jayde's hand and said, "You're my girlfriend."

Jayde proudly turned her face away. She stared directly at the crystal trophy in Belen's hand.

She took a step forward, stumbled, and fell towards Belen.

"Crash-" The crystal cup shattered on the tiles.

The screen on Ethan's phone glowed, showing a missed video call from his sister, Sarah. He swiped to check the voicemail, but it wasn't a message; the call had connected, and his phone had recorded what happened next. The shaky video revealed his sister' s office, but a woman he didn't recognize, Jessica Riley, sat in Sarah's chair, laughing with his brother-in-law, Mark Thompson, as they mocked Sarah's supposed foolishness. Then the camera moved, revealing Sarah herself, curled on the floor, her hair matted, clothes in rags, a metal chain around her neck, and an empty dog bowl beside her. Jessica cooed, "Time for dinner, sweetie," kicking the bowl, while Mark dropped bread, saying, "Eat up, doggy." Ethan watched in horror as his brilliant sister scrambled for food like a starved animal. A cold rage seized him, cracking his phone screen, and with a dangerously calm voice, he called his assistant: "Get the jet. We're going home. Now." Landing in the US, Ethan found his childhood home overgrown and dreary. Kicking the door open, he discovered Sarah chained to a radiator, skeletal and terrified, whimpering at his approach. This was his sister, treated like an animal in her own home. Mark, Brenda, and Jessica appeared, feigning concern, claiming Sarah was "unstable" and producing forged medical diagnoses, trying to dismiss the horrific scene with a piece of paper. Ethan' s control finally snapped. He knew Sarah' s strength, her intelligence; this cruelty was inflicted upon her. He watched as Mark, arrogant and unrepentant, tried to silence Sarah's weak confession of forced signatures. When Mark raised a hand to strike her, Ethan intervened, his grip like steel, "Don't you ever touch her again." Mark spouted lies, accusing Sarah of ruining the company, blaming her for the bruises and injuries that covered her body. The scene escalated as Ethan, blood boiling, called his assistant, David, who arrived with a team of men. He ordered Mark, Brenda, and Jessica secured, stating, "You are a parasite, Mark. And you own nothing," before hitting him. Mark, still defiant, claimed control of Hayes Innovations and the board. Ethan calmly directed David to search the house for evidence, then gently unclipped Sarah, scooping her into his arms. She was light as a child, trembling, whispering, "He'll hurt you. He'll hurt us both." Ethan vowed, "He has no idea what I'm capable of." He saw the raw marks on her neck, fueled by fresh fury. Sarah huddled in his jacket, whispering how Mark had gaslighted her with fake videos. Ethan knew the videos were lies. Kneeling, he gently told her, "We're going to your office." When she panicked, terrified of Jessica, he reassured her, "It's time for everyone to see the real CEO of Hayes Innovations." With a flicker of her old self, an almost imperceptible nod, she agreed. He left the villains secured, telling David to find every piece of evidence they had used against her. Holding Sarah's hand, he led her out, ready to fight.

For five years, my husband Damian fed me a bitter daily "tonic," claiming it was to help my fragile health. He told the entire pack I was a "withered wolf," too broken to shift and too barren to give him an heir. I believed him, until the new nanny walked in wearing my silk robe, smelling of my perfume and his sweat. Damian didn't even try to hide it. He demanded I sign a check to support his mistress's five children, sneering that since my womb was a "graveyard," I should pay for his legacy. He planned to humiliate me publicly at the Medical Summit, using me as a case study of failure to legitimize his illegitimate brood. But he made a fatal mistake. He thought I was too weak to check the books. My loyal Beta brought me the truth just hours before the speech. The tonic wasn't medicine; it was Wolfsbane, designed to suppress my Alpha wolf. And the infertility? It wasn't me. Medical records proved Damian had a vasectomy weeks before our wedding. He had been poisoning me and gaslighting me for half a decade to steal my fortune. I injected a dangerous stimulant to clear the fog and crashed his stage. I didn't just expose his sterility to the world; I stripped him of his rank and exiled him as a Rogue. As security dragged the screaming traitor away, a scent hit me—thunderstorms and raw, terrifying power. Alistair Finch, the most dangerous Alpha on the coast, rose from the VIP section. He walked straight to me, sparks flying as he touched my skin. "He is nothing," Alistair growled, pulling me into his arms. "And you are finally Mine."

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.
