Caught in the Billionaire's web Chapter 1 married immidiately

"Gosh! I'm late "

She pushed the door open, with an accelerating heartbeat she glanced around while drinking a ragolis water on her hand.

The place was sheltered as expected but the person she was looking for seemed not to be present.

Her heart raced, she looked at the wall clock hung on the right side of the room dinning. It was already passed 6 o'clock pm in the evening.

"Was she late? Did he leave already?"

Muttering to herself, she went to the bathroom and shut the door behind her.

Sitting on the toilet seat, she brought out her phone and scrolled down to a text sent by her childhood friend, Gwen.

' Diana , meet this man at Roy Donald's dinner place at five. He's a struggling artist, he needs shelter at the moment. Don't be carried away by his looks Hun, his gay! Focus honey.

' His willing to marry you. He is ready. Go for it darling. Catch yah'.

This is the last hope for Diana. She had to marry him as soon as possible.

Her witless friend did not thought of sharing his picture because she had to leave urgently to Florida.

Before going off, Gwen left a note ' you have to meet him Tomorrow evening. I had to leave immediately, mum is sick and admitted in the hospital. Micheal Wil be there tomorrow at 5 sharp in the evening, he Will be wearing a blue colour T shirt.

Please note , his a very punctual guy . All the best my love. Bye! '

But now what is happening? The 'punctual Micheal' was no where to be found. She stepped out from the restroom and started washing her hands. Her mind flashed back to the moment she caught her ex lover Albert and her best friend Coco cheating on her. This had emotionally, physically and mentally drained her down.

'where the hell is the Micheal I'm supposed to meet here? I need to let albert know that he missed a priceless jewel like me,I'm going to make him regret what he did to me with that wh*re." She screamed loud , hitting her right feet on the wall__drawing the attention of an old woman washing her hands in the sink, the woman's expressions made her realize she's about going nuts, speaking to herself all alone.

"Oops I'm sorry" her voice calm and steady. She quietly sneaked away from the restroom allowing her eyes collide on a dinning seater couch.

Her heart pounded in her chest when her gaze struck a man on a blue shirt looking around__ as though he was waiting for someone.

He was wearing a branded coat, it doesn't define him as a struggling tattoo artist. Maybe because of his profession, he needed to keep his appearance clean and presenting.

Oh my God, thank you Gwen , his finally here.

She sent deep silent hugs to her best friend, she watched him take a seat, entirely focused on his fone.

Oh good lord! Darm you Gwen, you never told me he was audaciously hot , darm man! This handsome is gay.

'if you are done checking me out, I have work to do." His voice was deep and cold, his blue eyes locking hers.

He buried his face back in his phone.

My God! Was he some of Romano god on earth, her breathe froze. She came back to life reminding her self this is not a dream.

He ran out of patience waiting for her to introduce herself.

How dumb of her of course. Now his staring at her confused.

"I..uhm..I'm Diana, Diana Lucas" she quivered and feeling awkward she held out her palm expecting a handshake, but instead he continued staring at her leaving her Manus hanging on air.

She became uncomfortable, this man was smokey handsome but seems to be an arrogant as*hole. But she needed him. This was her only and last hope.

With a smirk and forcing smile, she dragged her seat in front of her and sat down. "Listen Micheal" now his bewildered expression was visible. He looked at her like she had gone insane.

This man looked like Micheal Gowenz. A popular movie star. But she couldn't just let it out of her mouth. Of course she had to compose herself not to offend him probably.

"Listen Micheal , Gwen must have told you about my need to marry someone urgently"

"Excuse me?" A spark of interest mask his expression.

"Micheal listen to me, she has told me everything about you, I have a little apartment and you can lay on the bed while I manage the couch"

His expressions made her a little bit uneasy. But she had gotten his attention now. "Micheal I will pay you handsomely but my money is stuck some where, once I recover it, I will settle you. I can also be of help to your career. I have some peeps that are looking for a tatoo artist.

For the first time, she saw through him, the warmth and ice cracking in his glare. She never wanted to sound desperate but did she have a choice ?

"Do we have a deal Micheal? What do you say?" He noticed she was waiting for his response.

"When do you want this marriage thing miss?"

"It's Diana, anytime that suits you best "

"Diana, Can we do it now?" Now his expressions had become tighter and bold.

"Now?" She was shocked , she never expected it to go this easily.

"Yes miss Diana, I'm available right now, and if it's not now, then deal is off". He stood up, grabbed his fone and about leaving. She stood on her sexy long legs and curvy swaying hips, she rushed after him.

This is becoming interesting, how could she get married in such short notice, she had to make some preparations of course, but she got to realize that he have his own connections, from the priest to the witnesses, everything was stand by.

They got married and stepped out of the office with their legal papers. A cab stopped before them for which Diana had already hired and paid.

"Are you going somewhere ?" He questioned her seeing letters she's stuffing In her files.

"Yes Micheal, I've got a job interview and I need to be there right now" she smiled happily staring at him, she brought out a piece of paper handing over to him.

"Here's my address, please you can take your things and move in, I will be waiting for you" she walked into the cab not noticing he had been looking at her for what she just made him do.

That moment, the sound of his phone obstructed his thoughts.

"Hello? Grey! My man, where are you my friend?"

"What happened Roy "

"Nothing happened man, but something would strike if you don't get married this evening, your old man is getting worked up and agitating something I can't figure out. Worst of it all, Rita is not responding, I know we agreed and paid her twenty million to marry you but if she's asking for forty million, then give it to her because there are no options left.

"F*ck Rita and her payment, no need of her anymore. By the way, I just got married Roy"

"You did what?" Roy was shocked on the other side.

"I still can't believe it myself, everything played out too fast, I am going to forward a PDF of my marriage papers to you, so tell your old man not to touch my inheritance as the CEO of Marvin's group , that's my position and where I belong. I'm not letting anyone take it away from me. I'm married now." There was sarcasm in his statement.

"Holy Moses! How did you do that? Who's the girl? So how much are you paying her? Did she took less than Rita? Tell me something Man, this news is a sweet shock to me and am happy really"

"Ha ha ha....Roy this is where am amazed as well, she's the one paying me, it's the other way round, she also offered a place to live, Roy, I'm astonished."

"She did what?" Roy choked while sipping his coffee, chuckling.

Grey dropped the call smiling to himself. It seemed his emergency bride knew nothing about him. He looked at his phone and dialed another number. "Hello, ken where's my car? bring it here now."

"Yes sir" and then a sparkling Chevy Silverado SUV stopped near him. A neatly dressed uniform man stepped out and opened the door for him. Grey climbed the back seat , relaxed and from his expression, one could tell he just won a lottery. The most difficult task this morning became the easiest.

He didn't know the strange girl, he was supposed to pay someone to get married, but she seemed daring and he seemed very much interested in getting to know her, why she was also looking for a husband, confusing him for Micheal.

Poor micheal just lost a trophy he guessed.

I stood at my mother’s open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest’s voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone—he brought Charla with him. He claimed she’d had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.

I had just survived a private jet crash, my body a map of violet bruises and my lungs still burning from the smoke. I woke up in a sterile hospital room, gasping for my husband's name, only to realize I was completely alone. While I was bleeding in a ditch, my husband, Adam, was on the news smiling at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. When I tracked him down at the hospital's VIP wing, I didn't find a grieving husband. I found him tenderly cradling his ex-girlfriend, Casie, in his arms, his face lit with a protective warmth he had never shown me as he carried her into the maternity ward. The betrayal went deeper than I could have imagined. Adam admitted the affair started on our third anniversary-the night he claimed he was stuck in London for a merger. Back at the manor, his mother had already filled our planned nursery with pink boutique bags for Casie's "little princess." When I demanded a divorce, Adam didn't flinch. He sneered that I was "gutter trash" from a foster home and that I'd be begging on the streets within a week. To trap me, he froze my bank accounts, cancelled my flight, and even called the police to report me for "theft" of company property. I realized then that I wasn't his partner; I was a charity case he had plucked from obscurity to manage his life. To the Hortons, I was just a servant who happened to sleep in the master bedroom, a "resilient" woman meant to endure his abuse in silence while the whole world laughed at the joke that was my marriage. Adam thought stripping me of his money would make me crawl back to him. He was wrong. I walked into his executive suite during his biggest deal of the year and poured a mug of sludge over his original ten-million-dollar contracts. Then, right in front of his board and his mistress, I stripped off every designer thread he had ever paid for until I was standing in nothing but my own silk camisole. "You can keep the clothes, Adam. They're as hollow as you are." I grabbed my passport, turned my back on his billions, and walked out of that glass tower barefoot, bleeding, and finally free.

The Billionaire's Blind Bride: No Mercy

I married Clive Harrington, the coldest billionaire in Manhattan, under a strict contract that forbade any emotional burdens. When I needed a high-risk surgery to save my sight, I checked into the clinic alone, hiding the procedure from a husband who saw me as nothing more than a legal asset. I thought I could handle the darkness in silence. But while I was blind and bandaged in my hospital bed, my biological mother called, screaming that if I didn't produce a Harrington heir by the end of the fiscal year, she would cut off the life-saving treatments for my disabled sister. I was crawling on the cold hospital floor, desperately feeling for a cane I had dropped, when I touched a pair of expensive leather shoes. It was Clive. He was supposed to be in London closing a multi-million dollar deal, but there he was, watching his "contract wife" groveling in the dark like a beggar. He didn't walk away in disgust. He carried me to a five-thousand-dollar-a-night VIP suite and sat by my bed, listening in chilling silence as another voicemail from my mother filled the room, calling me a "useless broodmare" who was only worth the trust fund disbursements my marriage secured. I expected him to remind me of Clause 34B or hand me divorce papers now that I was "damaged goods." Instead, I felt his thumb brush a stray tear from my cheek, his presence shifting from a statue of ice into a predatory shield. "I thought I was just currency to you," I whispered, my voice trembling behind the gauze. "Just an investment." Clive didn't answer with words. He picked up his phone and called his head of legal with a single, terrifying command: "Kill the Douglas family’s credit lines. Every debt, every lien—trigger them all. If they want a war, I’ll give them a massacre." As he leaned down to kiss my bandaged forehead, I realized the contract was dead. My husband wasn't protecting an asset anymore; he was hunting the people who had dared to touch what belonged to him.
