MINE 2 LOVE

Damon's POV

I woke up pretty early than usual today so that I could get ready and fly to Italy for my meeting with some of the partners of The Krugers Empire. My company is everything and I worked so hard to get to were I am right now.

Growing up without a better father figure to look up to, gave me the zeal to want to be a better man, a better father and better husband some day. My father was a drunkard and a drug addict. I grew up till the age of thirteen seeing my mother put up with his addiction and coming home every day and abuse my mother, till the day she said NO MORE, divorced him and took me away to start a whole new life. Things were never easy, I tried by all means to protect her, try to make her smile and help her out. It's her who made me the man I am today. She is my world and my rock.

I decided to pass through the coffee shop, other days that I send my someone to buy me coffee but today I decided to go and buy it myself since it was still the early hours of the morning and it was not yet crowded.

Just as I opened the door, I was greeted buy a hot cup of coffee spilled on my chest. I was so angry and pissed off that very moment. To say I was livid would be an understatement.

"I am so sorry sir, lemme try to clean you up. I am so sorry I wasn't looking." The nice pleasant voice follows up and she's busy trying to pat me dry. "Oh my God, are you blind. Why are you so clumsy? Agghh. Shit! " I shouted at her angrily. As I shouted at her I noticed she got afraid and jumped a bit. "I am so sorry sir, don't be mad me sir. I think there is a boutique around the corner there that just opened, I will take you there and buy you a new shirt. I am so sorry," she still trying to dry me up this time she had taken a baby fleece towel from her bag. I got angry with myself not her because I was feeling stupidly drawn to her, a random stranger and that's not a feeling I was going to entertain for a long time. The more she patted me dry and apologised I felt like I could just hug her and kiss her then tell her it's fine and this made me so angry, how could I be so weak on a total stranger.

I look down at her and then my wet shirt and removed her hands roughly from my chest and I turned away immediately to go back to my car. My driver looked at me and asked if everything was okay. I didn't even have the heart to reply him, I was close to blowing up. "Drive! Home, Now." I said to the driver to take me back home so I can change quickly and be on my way. I even lost the appetite for the coffee I wanted so so bad. After 30 minutes I was done and the driver took me straight to the jet. I quickly got in and the pilot took off. At least that is the advantage of owning a private jet.

After 2 hours or so I arrived in Italy and feeling the cool breeze as I board off the jet. I insisted my driver take me to the Grand Hotel Santa Domitilla where the first meeting was going to undergo. I wanted to attend the meeting first before I go to my beach house. When it comes to work I don't compromise, I need everything to be perfect. We reached the hotel well in time for the meeting as it was nearly 10 a.m.

The meeting lasted for almost 3hours with cut breaks in between. I didn't expect it to be this long but what can you expect if you're the leading commercial real estate company. The major problem being the disagreement on the location of the property to be build. Since we want to build offices, either it can be located in different areas and have branches or have one location with the headquarters and main offices in one place. Be that as it may the meeting and finalising will be done on the following meeting on Wednesday.

I headed to my beach house right after the meeting. I want to take a rest and then talk to my manager Rick back in London. I need a PA as soon as possible. I left him to do the last interview since I won't be around, but I just don't trust Rick's ways of interviewing. Some of the people he hires are incompetent. Whenever he does an interview, we normally have to cross check if the person is fit. I wanted to do all the interviews alone this time around and I can't believe I am relying on Rick again. The last one he hired for me was a wreck. She was hitting on me from the first day, wearing skimpy inappropriate work clothes, the list goes on. I want an employee who focuses and loves her or his job not me. Since I have certain things I would like the PA to do before I get back to London I am praying the last candidate impressed Rick enough to impress me when I get back and get the job.

After I arrived at the beach house I took a shower and tried lossening some muscles. Afterwards, I took my phone and called Rick to see how the interview with the last candidate went.

Rick : Hello Sir.
