Contract Feelings

Chapter 1: Life in City B.

"Wow! This city has changed so fast. I can't believe it could transform into such a magnificent and beautiful place. Wait! Have I really gone for so long?" Said Beauty.

"Ohh, you just knew you were suppose to come back now?" Flora laughed. "Didn't I pester you several times to come back on time that I have a surprise for you. Tada! This is the surprise baby" Flora and Beauty both laughed.

City B was known for its magnificent tall buildings, well constructed road and bridges, with its business world that allows elites grew rapidly. Most people who lives in City B loves the city for various reasons. To young girls, they have fantasy for cute good looking guys. For the men and young men, they fancy it for the business opportunities, connections and how it grows swiftly. For women, there are a lot of fashion designer items for them to get and luxury places to visit. For children, it can be all fun for them. There are great schools and colleges to also attend, though the elites' lives can be easily differentiated from average people, but peace and luxury life can be enjoyed in the great City B.

Beauty who was Flora childhood friend had traveled to City Z for about 3 years to start up her fashion business. She just got back and had communicated before time to Flora, so she could pick her up at the airport. Both friends were really happy to see each other after a long time of only virtual communication.

"I really have missed a lot. I am very sure you get a full bag of gists for me....right cutie?" Said Beauty . "Yes of course. But wait....hope it isn't that gist of what you do bother me about everytime we had a video call" replied Flora.

Laughs...."Baby, yes it isssss... What else are you thinking huh?" Beauty kept on laughing while they stopped a cab. "You never change for once Beauty?" Flora remarked shaking her head with a bewild expression.

They got into the cab and the driver drove off. "Where are you going ma'am's?" Asked the cab man. "We would be stopping at Farinto Cafe and bar" Replied Flora. "Would you love to take some wine or coffee?" She turns to Beauty and asked. "Wine darling...who takes a coffee in this time of the day? You know I love the centralized style...." She smiled and smirk. Flora answered her "I know you, my centralized passionate girlfriend" They both laughed.

When they got to the cafe, they went in and took a seat each. A waiter attended to them and served them as they requested. "So are you telling me you have no lucky guy yet?" Beauty asked Flora in a surprise tone. "Yes yes yes, I told you already. I don't have time for any love story now. You knew what happened to me, I don't want such to repeat itself. You knew how Broe betrayed me ...wait...he didn't betray me, he just surprised me. After all, I never knew he was such a jerk from the start" Flora lamented. "Yes I know all, Broe the bastard. I remembered I blocked him on all my social media, he is such a maniac. Hooking up with your step sister because of just a simple threat he got from his mother and your step mum. Crazy guy....eewwww" Beauty condemned. She had always hate Broe to the core and had warn Flora many times to quit her feelings for him. She never knew she was right until Broe showed Flora his true color.

"Life offers you what you never expect, you just have to learn from them and never repeat the mistake twice", replied Flora. "That is true, but Broe shouldn't stop you from progressing with your life" Said Beauty. "Why would he? He never did. I am living fine just except those step mother and her children I stay with. Apart from that, I am really fine. I am working in a good company that pays me well as a photographer, It just that I am not ready for any emotional story, I just came out from one" Flora narrated with an heavy heart. She had been enduring living with those people she called family for a long time and she thought of leaving to stay on her own.

They moved their discussion to another topic. While they were drinking and discussing Scott was having a stressful day at work.

Silver Scott, as the heir of Silver Sky Group and Silver Family. He has been coming to the office so early to sort out some documents regarding a new project the company is working on. The project is new and must be viewed and handled cautiously, any mistake can result to loosing a very big amount of money, though it cannot affect the great Silver Sky Group but it won't be so good if a bad and unpleasant news about the Group is been broadcasted all over the City.

So Scott had been working since morning. While his assistant, Joel, has been with him throughout. He blamed himself for coming to work today, he thought he could have just come up with something about his family so he won't have to be at work. "Call the public admin secretary to come over with the documents now" Scott dominated cold voice rang loudly in the big office. "Yes sir" replied Joel. Joel left in a drift and came back after some minutes. The public admin secretary followed him and dropped the documents on Scott's desk. "CEO Sir, these are the documents you asked for." He bowed his head and moved back a little. "You can leave" Scott spoke without lifting his head to look at the secretary, he was focused on his system. The secretary left in a hurry without looking back. "CEO can I take a stroll downstairs to get your lunch?", asked Joel. "No thanks" Scott declined with a straight face. Joel sighed inwardly and went back to the sofa to continue his work.

After some minutes, a call rang out disturbing the silent office. "Holy father, who is that calling my boss in the middle of his busy schedule. I wonder if he would pick it" Joel panicked talking silently to himself. Scott checked his phone, he picked up his call and continued his work.

"Hey man, don't you ever rest for a while?" Roy's voice was heard loudly from the other side. "What did you want to say, I am busy" Scott cold voice rang out with a little bit of stressed tone. "Yo man, we need you to be out right now. Do you have to work tirelessly? Don't you have a break at work? Eishhh common we dudes wanna meet you now." Roy rumbled on the phone. "I can see you got time for those things" Scott chuckles, he rested his body on the chair and sat in a comfortable way. "You don't have to drag me into your outing, for now I am so busy, let's talk later". As Scott was about putting an end to the call, a thick muscular voice rang out. "Can't you just listen for once? Huh?" Michael complained with a frown on his face. Scott smirked..."You guyz are something, where is Gad?" Immediately Scott asked of Gad, the door of the office was opened suddenly. "Hey man, I gat you here." Gad laughed hystericallly. "I know you'd be shocked man. I come pick you up, you gotta let us leave now."

Scott sighed deeply using his right hand to massage his temple. "Okay okay we are going." Said Scott. "We would be waiting for you" Replied Micheal, then the call ended. Scott stood up, ordered Joel to clear his table that he would be out for sometime.

No one could tell how happy Joel was when he heard this from his boss. "Yes sir" Joel hurriedly replied. Scott took his jacket on his sofa leaving Joel alone in the office, while Gad followed behind him. As they stepped out, Scott asked him, "Where are they?". "Farinto Cafe and Bar. We booked a room for us" Gad replied Scott. "Sighs, alright". Scott took his car and drive while Gad also drove his car which he brought.

After a 30 minutes drive, they got down and entered the bar area. Farinto is a very big and luxurious place where the rich and wealthy people of City B come for fun and interaction. Even outsiders from other cities enjoys the luxurious taste of it. It is a very tall sky scraper building with 17 floors. Flora and Beauty were at the 5th floor, while Scott and his other wealthy friend were at the 6th floor. They booked a vip room for themselves.

"Man, what took you so long. You are welcome tho" Roy said. "He is just too adamant to things, so difficult to please" Gad complained to others and shakes his head. Scott and Gad sat down with others, they poured themselves some wine and they began chatting.

While the guys were chatting in the upper floor, Flora begin to feel some pain in her stomach. "Beauty, I'll be back, I'll like to use the restroom" She said to Beauty. "Okay, take your time. Make sure you are fine, I'll be waiting for you". Beauty responded.

Back at the 6th floor, the men were drinking and discussing, only Scott still remain composed and emanating his usual dominating aura, Michael was the first to break the silence.

"How's work going? You seem to be really busy if not for Gad showing up." Michael asked. "Work is fine, just busy with some projects and how are your grandparents?" Scott replied gently. "They are fine, just that they are still on this marriage issue. Like I am fed up, should I steal a woman and bring to them?" Micheal complained and smirk.

"Same here, my parents have been disturbing me to get married. I and my girlfriend just broke up recently and am sure she should be back to City B by now. Because she is the reason I do travel to City Z. What can I do when she left me? I just have to let her go even though I never wanted it." Roy said. "Sighs, I have never been lucky with girls. I am not just stressing myself with relationship. I'll just enjoy my life." Gad commented.

"Hahahaha....so we are all in this together.... hahahaha" Roy laughed. Scott was listening to all they have been saying but choose to remain silent. While they were discussing. Flora was having difficulty opening the door of the restroom when she was about coming out. She felt it was odd. "Was someone outside monitoring me? Do I offend anyone and the person followed me here? Was it her step sister? Why would I be thinking of Presch, what can she be doing in this place at this particular time..no, no ...she can't be here."

While she was thinking, Beauty was worried about her friend Flora who has gone to the restroom for over 20 minutes. She decided to go check on her. She went to the ladies' restroom and checked inside, she didn't see Flora, her anxiety began to rise, she decided to check the next floor which is the 6th floor. She took the elevator and got to the floor in time.

Beauty was searching around the 6th floor, she kept dialing Flora's number hoping she would pick up. The phone was ringing but nobody picked up the call. Then she remembered Flora didn't take her phone with her when she was leaving for the restroom. She decided to continue searching for her friend. While Beauty was searching, Flora was at the balcony of the back door on the 5th floor where her and Beauty were drinking.

Flora was able to come out from the restroom after one of the staff of the bar happen to be passing and heard her pleading voice and knock. He apologized for the inconvenience Flora might have experience and promise to server her a bonus drink. The mistake Flora made was to ask the staff the way back to the bar. She was left alone at the backyard thinking of the right path to the bar. When she eventually got herself back to the bar, she couldn't see Beauty. She panicked that Beauty must have been worried about her and might have gone looking for her.

Up at the 6th floor, Beauty didn't notice the 4 men sitting at the bar in the VIP room. She passed their side with only Flora in her mind. She came back to their side talking to one of them, her face looking the other bars and lounge in the big hall while talking to one of the men. "Hey handsome, did you happen to see a beautiful lady putting on pink passing here?" Beauty asked nonchalantly. Roy looked at the pretty stubborn lady asking him some random question. The other men were also looking, surprised and amazed.

"Didn't you hear me? I said did you....." What? Roy? Mart Roy?" Beauty just realized who she was talking to when she faced him. Roy stood up also, "Beauty?" What are you doing here? Roy asked amazingly. "How is that your business and concern? Stop showing fake care." Beauty questioned back.

As they were busy speaking. Flora found Beauty at the 6th floor. "Beauty!, Why you here?" Flora called out to Beauty and asked, moving closer to her where the other men are. "Flora? Where have you been? Let's leave this place and talk better" Beauty said. "Ok ok ok, let's go." Flora sensed Beauty wasn't happy with the man she was speaking with. As she was leaving, her eyes met a cold eyes, moving to the man's well builded chest, whose owner was Scott.

At first she panicked. Scott looked at the beautiful woman's face and scanned her from head to toe. He loved and admire her attractive figure, with her pretty waistline and long hair, falling pass her waist. He felt himself feeling different about this mysterious woman.

Flora and Beauty left the 6th floor. When they got to their table, they sst down on their seats. Beauty gave a deep sigh and voiced out. "That was my ex boyfriend upstairs. I never thought I'll see him here." Beauty gave a smirk and took her wine. "Really? You never showed me his picture. He is such a handsome man. Why did you guys separate then?" Flora asked. "It a long story actually, we would discuss that later." Beauty answered. "What about that man with the cold aura? Sitting in between those men. Who is he?" Flora questioned. "Ohh that, haven't you heard of Silver Scott?" Beauty replied. "You mean The Silver Sky Group? The heir to the group and Silver family?" Flora said. "Yes, yes. He is the one, every girls' crush." Beauty smiled as she replied.

"Wow, he is really handsome. People like them don't lack anything. They get anything they want anytime they want it." Flora said. "Why did you say so? It not true though. Money isn't everything." Beauty answered. "Well I agree with you." Flora replied.

The two friends stopped talking and continue drinking. Each one with her own thoughts.

It was past 7 in the night. Flora dropped Beauty home and when Flora got home, she was welcomed with the annoying sight of her step mother and step sister.

"Where have you been you bitch?" Cylene asked. "Why asking me such? To work of course." Flora replied reluctantly. "Mum is worried about you since, you are here acting rude. Where have you been huh?" Presch questioned arrogantly. "Tchhh, what did you guys think of yourselves? I have been the one feeding and taking care of this house since when dad has died. Who are you to question me? Huh?" Flora roared.

"You must be going crazy to shout at me. You slut, you better be ready tomorrow. Mr Bob will be here to pick you up. You are having a date with him, so is better you cooperate with him." Cylene said. "Laughs... You are the one who is crazy. You and your daughter are both crazy. Why don't your daughter go on the date? She is precious or what? Ohh because she now has Broe she stole from someone. Hahahaha, you never cease to amaze me." Flora replied.
