"You killed Grandma! You hungry looking buffalo! " A slap followed on Camille's cheeks, it left hand-prints on her cheeks. That was Shania Rodrigo, Camille's mother-in-law.

Tears streamed down from Camille's eyes, her heart was racing. How did things happened so fast? She wasn't crying because of the slap but cried at the sight of the woman placed in the coffin.

Rina Rodrigo who was the only person one that loved her in the family... now, she's gone.

Rina doted so much on Camille that she signed a contract marriage with her in order to marry her grandson, Diego.

"Please mother, not today.. grandma is gone. Don't, don't...do this," Camille told her in a shaky voice. Shania scoffed.

"Stop playing the victim card! I know you're a snake! You poor filthy thing!" Shania didn't care about the guests present, she pushed Camille to the floor.

Camille's heart ached, she's a nobody so everybody treats her like a dirt including her husband, the mommy's boy. Diego Rodrigo.

"Grandma!" Diego stormed into the funeral with a fierce look, he ran to where they had placed his grandma, his eyes reddens and he balled his fist, with rage, he matched towards Camille.

Camille struggled to get up but instead, Diego pulled her up angrily, he grabbed her neck, "What did you do to grandma! I left for only two days!" Diego yelled while Camille tried to breathe as he's choking her.

"I..I..can't breathe..." She managed to say but Diego didn't listen. Fury and anger was the only thing that filled him.

Shania brought out some papers, "Look what this poor thing planned with grandma! She made grandma signed a contract to marry you! I never wanted her into the family!" Shania told her son, Diego let go of Camille's neck and took the papers.

Camille fell weakly to the floor, tired and restless, her vision became so blurry but she could still hear Diego's conversation with his mom.

"You signed a marriage contract?! Tsk, what for?" Diego yelled not minding if Camille was dying on the floor.

"Your grandma-" Camille tried to defend herself, She loved Diego so much that when Rina offered her the contract, she accepted instantly.

"You have nothing to say! You ripped grandma off, you witch! You took advantage of the poor old woman! You should be sent out!" Tiana chipped in from the crowd, she was the wealthy girl Shania wants her son to marry.

Tiana came closer to where Diego stood, locked her arms around his, "I'm here for you, Diego," She whispered.

"Tell me Camille, did you freaking kill grandma because of this contract?!" Diego yelped but Camille was too weak to reply him.

A sharp pain crept into Camille's stomach that she started crying and holding her stomach but none of them cared not even Diego.

"Look at her shedding crocodile tears!" Tiana mocked moving closer to where Camille is, kicked her stomach so hard.

"Send this evil girl out of this house! She deceived the entire family!" Shania added

"Go die!" Tania added kicking Camille's stomach harder, Camille gasped for air and the pain became so unbearable that she started bleeding between her legs but she was too weak to scream for help.

Her baby is dying.

Slowly, their voices became echo to her ears, Camille eyes started shutting slowly till she could no longer hear them. She fell unconscious.

Camille's eyes peeled opened, a very unpleasant smell ran to her nostril, the scent of a hospital, she was right, she landed on the hospital bed after she had passed out.

A doctor came in, "Finally you're awake," The doctor said while Camille managed to sit upright, she rub her stomach.

"How is my baby? Please tell me it's okay? Please..." Camille almost cried as she saw the look on the doctor's face.

It can't be what she's thinking, this baby is her only chance of survival, the Rodrigo will never let her know peace.

"I'm sorry Camille, Your husband told us to remove it since you were in Coma for two days, the baby was dying too," The doctor announced.

Like Camille had lost her hearings, what did she just heard? Diego had them remove her baby?!

Tears formed in Camille's eyes, her heart was fuming, "You should have let me die with my baby! You should have just.." Tears didn't let her finish her words.

The cab man stopped at the Queen-way villa, Camille alighted from the cab, the nurses had told her Diego paid for her discharge in advance but didn't bother checking up on her.

Camille angrily stormed into the house, it was back to normal like nothing happened, Shania and Tiana were at the living room, watching a movie when she walked in.

"Look who has crawled back in here? Lovely!" Shania sarcastically said.

Camille rolled her eyes, if only her rage could tear down the whole house that moment, "Where is your son!"

"And who do you think you're to ask for him?! You bewitched grandma to take sides with you but now, no one wants you!" Shania fired back.

Camille scoffed throwing away the fears she once had for her mother-in-law, " I'm still his wife! Get me Diego! We need to talk!" Camille raised her voice.

"Tsk, imagine her guts!" Tiana whispered with a sneer but instead Camille ran towards the staircase.

"Diego! Diego! Come out!" Camille called and Diego appeared at her front, "You filthy jerk! Diego..you-"

"I don't think I have anything to say to you other than the divorce," Diego interrupted and Camille jaw dropped.

What's he saying! Camille was taken aback completely, what sort of heartless jerk is he?!

"W-what?"

"You heard me Camille, I'm divorcing you,"
