But in a world where betrayal lurks in every shadow, can love truly exist, or will it be the weapon that destroys them both?

Chapter 1 A LONG PREDESTINED MEETING!

"The sun, the moon, the stars, they all speak to me; I hear them every time I close my eyes, close my ears, shut my heart, I can hear them, I can.... kidding!"

One of the small kids interrupted the lady dressed in a black hoodie and pants. The lady had a very youthful aura, a small melon seed face and a cute button nose with eagle eyes.

"Eira, seriously, how many times have I told you, you suck at this?" Clark came to Eira's side with a milkshake, after pasting it to him, he leaned close to her and spoke.

"What do you know? That kid was weird; the others liked my story, but they all just left because that smelly kid left first." Eira shrugged off Clark's hands over her shoulders and complained, not forgetting to take a big gulp of her milkshake.

Aha!

Eira was pissed! She was never going to admit she sucked at telling stories especially when she just argued with Anna about how easy telling stories was?

If she admitted defeat now, that would mean Anna was right and she was wrong! Impossible! She was not going to be the first person to lose a bet, especially not when goofy Anna was involved.

"Eira, face it, you have already lost the bet; this is the tenth group of kids you have met since today; you have already lost Eira!" Paul's voice prompted Eira to look to the side.

Paul, Anna, Tyra and Estella were working towards them with a smile on their faces. "So there is something Eira cannot do, shocking!" Anna made an exaggerated hand motion causing everyone to laugh out loud.

"Whatever!" Eira rolled her eyes but did not comment. She admits in her heart she was no good with children, much less telling stories or acting cute.

"So, anyone wants to play the new target practice game, I just read the manual, and it looks like something worth the try" Estella gave everyone a card after she was done.

"What is this? A combination of mini-games that must be completed within a specific time. Seems like other games to me!" Paul sighed as he gave the card back, he was not a fan of games at all.

"Guys, this one is different, it is a teamwork game and you don't even get to choose your teammates, the games are hidden which means you have no idea what you are going to play and each time, there is a traitor whom you have to eliminate, if the other team finds their spy before you could eliminate him, you and your team loses even though you guys have been are winning before."

"Okay, let's try to play it; mysterious things are always here; we can't even choose our teammates, which means we might be enemies later in the game." Anna pointed out.

"Nice, we don't get to compete with ourselves in real life, but in a game, it's all different; we can go all out," Clark said, his eyes locked in on Paul.

"Bring it on, nerd reporter!" Paul cracked his joints and flexed his muscles.

"Sexy!" Estella drolled, secretly taking a picture of Paul's veiny hands.

The action did not go unnoticed by Tyra who had an expression of pure disgust on her face. "Estella, you damn pervert!"

"Guys, let's go, the line is getting full" Eira pointed at the entry line, which was closing in faster.

Without any more words, everyone went to the line to register. After the registration, they were blindfolded and made to pick badges, the badges were in different colours, each representing a team.

"Blue, yes, I got blueeeeeeee....never mind, "Anna's excited face turned sour once she saw she was with Clark and Paul.

"You sissy, why did you choose the same colour as I did?" Clark glares at Paul.

"Idiot!" Paul ignored it as he placed his tag on his body. The other, Estella and Tyra, got red as their colour, leaving only Eira to choose from.

"Black!" Eira looked at the black badge beside her, her expression calm as she picked up the badge and pasted it on herself.

"White!" As much as Eira did not want to pay attention to Lucian, she had no choice; the life which she had struggled so desperately to get, was in Lucina's hands.

"Good every team has been divided; team black and white are rivals while team blue and red are rivals as well. For the first game, it is a game of stealing the tag."

"Everyone would be sent to a maze-like environment; there, the lightning would be extremely low and dim. The participants of the game expected to steal their opponent's badge and at the same time escape from the maze."

"Now, this is called a team battle because the entire team must come out successfully; if the team somewhere loses or your tags are taken, the team has lost one point, and at the end of the entire game, the person with the most number of points wins the games."

"Okay!" Eira and the others nodded; the rules had already been explained. The crowd began to move to the maze at the amusement park's upper hill.

"To think something like this existed!" Estella was shocked as she saw the anxious open up so magnificently, the entire hill owned up revealing a man-made maze which was nothing short of humorous."

"Start!" The announcer said with a smile as she gestured to others for others.

As Eira passed by the announcer, her nose twitched as she got the strong smell of gunpowder. "This game, these people, are not ordinary!" Eira frowned; she had long already supported the announcer lady because she spoke too eagerly, but her eyes were empty, like a dead person.

"Weird! We're still in an amusement park, right?* Estella frowned as she asked, she was also the super sensitive type and just a few steps into the maze, her danger senses were already tingling.

"Humph! What a lousy trick, you guys could not come up with anything new!" Lucian scoffed, his expression amused as he spoke to the empty air.

"What's wrong with this one?" One of his teammates said his face was weird. "Hey, are you sure you are....pfft!" The words were not even completed before a thick column of blood splattered out, dying the entire place red.

"Dead!"

Everyone blanked out!

"Pardon!! Who arranged that?" "Your head of PR, Mr silver," she said. "They think it'll make you more humanized and social. You know, billionaire CEO let's loose for once."
