Chapter 1 Home Sweet Home
Dad I'll be there at your pack tomorrow early morning, Macy told her dad over the phone . You mean our pack kiddo , her dad corrected her laughingly . Dad you know it's more of your pack than it is mine.
Her father simply laughed at her statement and agreed with a sigh .Your sister and I will be waiting for you to come back home
. Thank you dad . She hung up the phone and stared out of the window of the airport's waiting room . Today would be the night she leaves Blood moon pack . Her mother's pack .She had lived here her entire life.this was her home ,her safe place and her comfort zone . She felt most close with her late mother here .
She was just a month old when her mother was killed by rouges who invaded their home. Her mother was killed in cold blood trying to protect her two children . Her husband the beta of Mooncliff pack was away on official duties . Her death was what caused his sudden return home .
He had no choice but to send Macy to live with her grandmother Rose in another pack . Her father focused on getting justife for his dead wife without worrying about his new born daughter . Although Macy got sent away her older sister Mia simply refused to leave her father . Mia was five when she witnessed her mother's death and believed her dad needed he. Although they grew apart the beta sisters were the best of friends .
The plane landed at Mooncliff pack airport and Macy got off the plane and walked towards the exit . Macy ! A loud female voice called out her name , she turned and saw her sister Mia waving at her. She quickly made her way to her sister skilling ear to ear . The girls embraced each other with happiness .
I've missed you jelly bean , said Mia . I've missed you too my lovely frog . They simply laughed at each other's pet names and embraced one again .
A man's voice spoke out , Can I join in that hug as well. Macy turned and saw her dad , she ran towards him and embraced him with tears in her eyes . I've missed you daddy . I've missed you too my princes
They arrived at their family home an hour later , Macy went straight to the room her sister had instructed her for a proper rest . She quickly freshened up and sat down on the bed unpacking her belongings into her closet . She swiftly fell asleep after only twenty minutes of sitting and unpacking .
The sun was shining on her face when Macy woke up . It was late in the afternoon . She took a shower and wore a simple dress and flats . Her hair was let down . She made her way done stairs with the hopes of having something to eat . The maids upon seeing her looked at her in astonishment . One maid approached her and said in a submissive tone , miss your father is waiting for you to join him for lunch . Macy nodded at the maid and the maid led her to the didnig area .
Hi dad . Look whose awake , Macy said . Her dad got up from his chair to give her a hug. They had lunch together and talked alot . Her dad kept asking her about Bloodmoon pack and her school life . It was a very pleasant meal and she enjoyed seeing her father again .
After lunch she was give a tour around the house by the chief maid . She got to know where all the rooms were and she loved the garden most of all . Every where she walked she noticed maids staring at her with surprise on their faces ,she felt unesy . Excuse me, she spoke softly to the chief maid . Why are they staring at me like that ? The woman simpoy looked at her with a smile and said , let me show you why miss.
The maid led her to a door which she unlocked using a key . They entered the room together and the lights were turned on . There it was ,nailed on the wall a portrait of her late mother and father together . Macy gasped in shock her mother looked identical to her . From her brown straight hair ,to her hazel eyes to her smile and every thing else . It was like she was an identical replica of her late mother Kate .
