" check the area for anything we are missing " he said to one of his team, the guy nods and checked for traces of footprints or fingerprints and cleaning after them. watching them clean every traces of her being, like nothing happened, she fell on her knees wailing hard as she grab her chest in agony, that is, if she can feel any emotions. The men ensure that their work was done and clean, then he call them all to take off. she looked at the door where the men just left. " I swear, I will haunt you all down, I promise I will become your worst nightmare and I promise that your destruction will be from my hands " she vows with bloodshot eyes, bloody face and wounded head with sticky hair mixed in blood and sweats. A year later A young lady in uniform lays on the floor with her body bloody and red marks of bruises visible from the beating with fingers I printed on her cheeks " mom " she thought with her vision blurry and all she could see was her mother's dreadful look. " I don't want to die " she whispers " you should have known not to mess with me " another lady in uniform said. " throw her down " she ordered " do you want to live " I heard the voice speak to me as I was placed on the edge of the rooftop. I look in the direction of the sound and saw her, looking bloody much like I am right now, just that she is pale. " yes " I replied as I felt my body limp forward off the edge and heard a security man ask " if anyone is here " but, the hope crashed just as it came when I felt a palm push me off the edge. Chapter 1 Veritas Aequitas episode 1
The sound of slaps can be heard filling the rooftop of the building with its echoes.
Sabina (the daughter of the mayor of B city) sat on Xavier legs (her boyfriend and also the only son of one of the richest men in B city and the son of the Science and Art High School chairwoman) , both making out on a chair.
A few feet from the couple, Rae (Sabina's friend and daughter of a single mother fashion designer) slaps Valentina (an orphan and a scholarship based student of Science and Art High school).
Yvon (son of a businessman) stood at a side with a lit cigarette between his lips looking far into the city light at the edge of the dark forest making a light grey blend with the night sky, while the sound of slaps echo along with muffled whimpers.
Sabina stood up with a playful chuckle from Xavier's leg, while he place his hand behind him leaning back, she walked towards Rae and Valentina
" Damn that felt so good, " Rae said, shaking her hand, backing a few steps away from Valentina who glared at the two girls.
" what are you looking at b**ch" Rae scowls.
Sabina chuckles tapping Rae on the shoulder and walks closer to Valentina " dirty rats acts like one, they don't easily take down their glare until they are tamed " she said and grab Valentina's hair making her muffle a wince, she trail her finger on the red lines on her fair cheek.
" I am impressed, you did a good job" she said looking at Rae with a smirk.
" I know right, it looks like a piece of art " Rae replied.
She nods and unties the cloth between Valentina's mouth.
" Got something to say? " she asked with a smirk.
" why are you doing this to me " Valentina asked as her voice choked, her mouth hurts
" I hate your presence " she answered straight with a shrug
" you are making no sense " Valentina scowls
" yes " she answered with a smug
" You are crazy, " Valentina said with bloodshot eyes.
" Rae " she called stepping few feet back
Rae walked closer, grabbed her hair and bangs her head on the rail.
Sabina stepped back with her hand akimbo waiting for Rae to discipline the girl.
" Rae " she called, satisfied with the beating
Rae dropped her on the floor leaving her wounded and she walked towards Yvon.
" cigarette " she asked, Yvon looked at her and handed her one from his pouch with a lighter.
She took a deep suck before puffing out.
Valentina struggles on the floor, her head hurts so much she feels nauseated, she shifts the rope tying her hand behind her with force more determined, Sabina bent in front of her and pull some strands of hair sticking to her face with blood, tears and sweats from her face.
" Only if you weren't stubborn and allowed me to tame you gently, you wouldn't suffer all this pain. " she said
Valentina looks at her in the eyes, and shifts her gaze to Xavier who sat lazily on the pile of woods, looking at them, she looks at the rooftop door, calculating her escape.
She struggles with the rope again, realizing that it has loosen up a bit enough to free her hand, she looks back at Sabina with hatred.
She smirks " I think I will become your worst nightmare instead ".
" I would love to see you try but that is, if you didn't end up as my pet " Sabina replied, fixing Valentina's hair behind her hair gently.
She took the opportunity to grab her hand and bite her, Sabina screams making Xavier jump to his feet getting closer to them, she pushed her to him distracting him, she sprinted towards the door.
Staring at the door with hope as the distance shorten, a pull on her scalp withdrew her from her mission, she felt her feet off the floor, she felt her body hit the ground with a thud as she rolled down the floor, curl up feeling the invited pain, dulled immediately from the rush of adrenaline.
She looked up, it was Yvon with a sinister smirk on his face.
" sh*t I forgot that he was an athlete " she thought.
He put his hand in his pocket and looked back at Sabina.
" caught your rat " he said lazily with the cigarette in his mouth releasing slight puffs of smokes as he speaks
She looked back, watching Sabina in her hurried steps towards her.
She struggles with determination trying to escape from her but that seems late.
" come here, b**ch. I've had enough of your nonsense " Sabina said grabbing her hair pulling her up
She felt the harsh tug on her hair and held her hair to relieve the pressure on her scalp.
" It is now or never " she thought, she turned back and grabbed Sabina's hair making her squeal.
Rae pulled her closer to her and landed her a punch. She staggered back while the two girls went at her.
The fight was rough while the guys just watched the show, she didn't give up despite the beating until Rae hit her head with a plank of wood.
She staggered back holding her head, vision blurry, she supported herself with the low concrete rail.
" thud thud thud " she heard the approaching hurried steps, she looked up and saw a blurry presence charging towards her, with a sickening feeling of fear, she swayed backward after a hit taking in a gust of wind that overwhelmed her in quick fear so fast she didn't get to process things.
Hitting the ground, she gave her last breath with eyes staring into the gloomy in its lifelessness.
