Contracted Billionaire wife Chapter 1 Trapped till death do us part

As the helicopter soared above the clouds, Abigail Walker gazed out the window, her mind racing with thoughts of escape. Just hours ago, she had exchanged vows with the man who she hated the most, promising to cherish and honor him. Now, she was handcuffed to that very man, her wrist throbbing in pain.Handcuffed to her seat, her husband's grip on her wrist like a vice and his eyes sending flames of fear to her spine.

The helicopter banked sharply, and Abigail's stomach lurched. She felt a wave of panic wash over her. Where were they headed? And why was her husband treating her like a prisoner on their honeymoon?

"Where are we going, Sebastian?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

Sebastian's cold, calculating gaze met hers. "Our new home, my dear. A place where you'll learn to behave."

The helicopter banked sharply, and the city skyline came into view, Abigail's heart sank. They were heading to New York, a place she had never been before. A place where she knew no one, and Sebastian held all the power to control her, to hurt her-

"Is this a wedding or a kidnap?" She glared at him but he gave no answer.

The handcuff dug deeper into her skin, a constant reminder of her captivity. Abigail knew she had to think fast, or risk losing herself forever in this toxic marriage. With a surge of determination, she turned to face Sebastian, her eyes locking onto his. "You will surely pay for this." she whispered, her voice barely audible over the roar of the helicopter.

Sabastine's smile was icy. "We'll see about that, my dear."

She stared out to the patchwork of fields and lovely vegetation below, she soon realized she just entered a death trap ." Would she ever escape this nightmare, or was she doomed to be trapped forever?"

Few hours ago,

Abigail's eyes were fixed on the contract in front of her, the words blurring together as Sebastian's cold, calculating voice echoed in her head,"Sign the contract, Abigail. Marry me, and your brother's life will be spared. Refuse, and... well, let's just say I have a team of skilled individuals waiting to carry out my instructions."

Abigail's eyes widened in horror as Sebastian's menacing gaze bore into hers, she took a look at the men who had glares that nearly froze her to death, the guns they all held looked loaded and ready to be shot.

She looked at him immediately,His eyes, dark and menacing, bore into hers, leaving no doubt that he would carry out his threat. She swallowed in fear .

Sebastian's hand grasped hers, his grip like a vice, as he thrust the pen toward her. The contract lay before her, its words blurring together in a sea of terror. Abigail's mind raced, her thoughts screaming in protest, but her voice was trapped in her throat. She kept reading the contract even when she knew what was written on it.

Her brother's face flashed before her eyes, his bright smile and laughter now replaced with a haunting fear. He wasn't supposed to be punished, he had done what he thought was right for their father. She knew Sebastian's cruelty was not to be underestimated. He would stop at nothing to claim her as his own.

With a shaking hand, Abigail took the pen, her signature scrawling across the page like a betrayal. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she met Sebastian's triumphant gaze, her heart sank in agony as the pen fell from her fragile wet hand.

He took the contract from her, snatching her arm with the other hand. His nails dug into her flesh and she let out a shrill cry of pain. Not minding her pain, he dragged her.

"I've done what you wanted, I want to see my brother." She protested, slapping him lightly on his arm to free her but he held a tighter grip on her.

Abigail could feel his finger nails press through her veins. This man was surely a monster without a heart. Before she could utter another word, she was blindfolded and thrust into a car. Without an idea of what was happening, the car started and she felt the engine rolling to her doom.

After a short drive, the car stopped and the blindfold was removed. It didn't take her long to figure out it was a wedding ceremony. She was quickly dressed in a white dress, she wore it sorrowfully consoling herself she was doing it for the wellbeing of her family. Her brother had stolen from Sebastian's company and this was the only way to keep him safe.

Abigail stood beside her husband, her voice reciting the wedding vows like a soft murmur. Her gaze, however, was fixed on the chilling scene unfolding nearby. Her brother was being held at gunpoint by a hulking figure, one of Sebastian's henchmen. He had not trust her with the wedding vows,

As the priest spoke, Abigail's words came out mechanical and detached, her mind racing with desperation. She was trapped, forced to exchange vows with a man she didn't love and hated so much, while her brother's life hung in the balance.

With each promise, her voice trembled, her eyes never leaving her sleeping brother's face, they had drugged him with a substance which made him sleep. She was glad he wasn't awake to witness the torture his only sister was going through. She felt like a pawn in a twisted game, her happiness and freedom being brutally sacrificed. As the ceremony progressed, Abigail's thoughts grew more disjointed, her heart heavy with the knowledge that her future was being forged in darkness and torture.

Sebastian's grip on her hand tightened, his smile was a cold, calculated facade. As the ceremony ended with a forced kiss, Abigail's lips numb as Sebastian's claim of ownership. She was led away into the car as a lamb towards sacrifice.Sebastian had not even given her a chance to embrace her poor brother, he had promised to free him once he was awake and she had no choice but to believe.

After the wedding ceremony, Abigail was forced by her new husband into a waiting helicopter. His grasp on her arm tightened like a vice, dragging her toward the waiting helicopter. The rotor blades whirred to life, casting a menacing shadow on the ground below. The helicopter's door slammed shut as Abigail's mind raced with thoughts of escape, but her husband handcuffed her to the seat.

As she recalled all that had happened, tears welled down her eyes. Sabastine tried her tears with a handkerchief,

"Save your tears, my dear. You will need it soon." He spoke with mockery and a dirty smirk on his face.

I lay paralyzed on stiff white sheets, a prisoner in my own skin, listening to the rain lash against the window like nails on a coffin. My father, Elmore Franco, didn't even look at my face as he checked his clipboard. He just listened to the steady, monotonous beep of the heart monitor-the only thing proving I was still alive. Without a hint of remorse, he pulled a pen from his pocket and signed the Do Not Resuscitate order. My stepmother, Ophelia, stepped out from behind him, wearing my favorite pearl necklace and smelling of cloying perfume. She leaned close to my ear to whisper the truth that turned my blood to ice. "It was the tea, darling. Just like your mother. A slow, tasteless poison." She chuckled as she revealed that my fiancé, Bryce, had a two-year-old son with my sister, Daniela. My inheritance had been funding their secret life for years, and now that the money was secure, I was an inconvenience they were finally scrubbing away. As my father yanked the power cord from the wall, the beeping died, and the darkness swallowed me whole. I was being murdered by my own flesh and blood, used as a bank account until I was no longer needed. I died in that sterile room, drowning in the realization that every person I ever loved was a monster who had been waiting for me to take my last breath. Then, I gasped. I woke up in a luxury hotel suite surrounded by silk sheets, five years in the past-the very morning of my wedding. Next to me lay Basile Delgado, the "Wolf of Wall Street" and my family's most dangerous enemy. In my first life, I ran from this room in a panic and lost everything. This time, I looked at the man who would eventually destroy my father's empire and decided to join him. "I'm not leaving, Basile. Marry me. Right now. Today."

I was at my own engagement party at the Sterling estate when the world started tilting. Victoria Sterling, my future mother-in-law, smiled coldly as she watched me struggle with a cup of tea that had been drugged to ruin me. Before I could find my fiancé, Ryan, a waiter dragged me into the forbidden West Wing and locked me in a room with Julian Sterling, the family’s "fallen titan" who had been confined to a wheelchair for years. The door burst open to a frenzy of camera flashes and theatrical screams. Victoria framed me as a seductress caught in the act, and Ryan didn't even try to listen to my pleas, calling me "cheap leftovers" before walking away with his pregnant mistress. When I turned to my own family for help, my father signed a document severing our relationship for a five-million-dollar payout from Julian. They traded me like a commodity without a second thought. I didn't understand why my own parents were so eager to sell me, or how Ryan could look at me with such disgust after promising me forever. I was a sacrifice, a pawn used to protect the family's offshore accounts, and I couldn't fathom how every person I loved had a price tag for my destruction. With nowhere left to go, I married Julian in a bleak ceremony at City Hall. He slid a heavy diamond onto my finger and whispered, "We have a war to start." That night, inside his secret penthouse, I watched the paralyzed man stand up from his wheelchair and activate a screen filled with the Sterling family's darkest secrets. The execution had officially begun.

I woke up in a blindingly white hotel penthouse with a throbbing headache and the taste of betrayal in my mouth. The last thing I remembered was my stepsister, Cathie, handing me a flute of champagne at the charity gala with a smile that didn't reach her eyes. Now, a tall, dangerously handsome man walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his hips. On the nightstand sat a stack of hundred-dollar bills. My stepmother had finally done it—she drugged me and staged a scandal with a hired escort to destroy my reputation and my future. "Aisha! Is it true you spent the night with a gigolo?" The shouts of a dozen reporters echoed through the heavy oak door as camera flashes exploded through the peephole. My phone lit up with messages showing my bank accounts were already frozen. My father was invoking the 'morality clause' in my mother’s trust fund, and my fiancé had already released a statement dumping me to marry my stepsister instead. I was trapped, penniless, and being hunted by the press for a scandal I hadn't even participated in. My own family had sold me out for a payday, and the man standing in front of me was the only witness who could prove I was innocent—or finish me off for good. I didn't have time to cry. According to the fine print of the trust, I had thirty days to prove my "rehabilitation" through a legal marriage or I would lose everything. I tracked the man down to a coffee shop the next morning, watching him take a thick envelope of cash from a wealthy older woman. I sat across from him and slid a napkin with a $50,000 figure written on it. "I need a husband. Legal, paper-signed, and convincing." He looked at the number, then at me, a slow, crooked smile spreading across his face. I thought I was hiring a desperate gigolo to save my inheritance. I had no idea I was actually proposing to Dominic Fields, the reclusive billionaire shark who was currently planning a hostile takeover of my father’s entire empire.
