Love My Baby Sitter Chapter 1 Clara could only stare

On a quiet night, Samuel had just arrived home after attending a fancy company party. His legs were a little wobbly from the effects of the alcohol he had consumed throughout the night. Although he was known for his firm and in-control attitude, tonight Samuel had let himself get carried away by the drink.

When he entered his grand house, silence greeted him. The lights in the living room were already off, and only a small glow from a table lamp in the corner of the room lit his way.

Samuel walked slowly towards the living room, but his steps stopped when he heard light footsteps coming from the kitchen. Curious, he decided to see who was still awake at this late hour.

Arriving in the kitchen, he found his babysitter, **Clara**, who was tidying up the leftover snacks that had not been tidied up. She seemed focused on her task, unaware of Samuel's presence.

"Clara...," Samuel called in a hoarse voice.

Clara was shocked and immediately turned her head. "Mr. Samuel? You just got home?" she asked anxiously, seeing her boss's clearly drunk condition.

Samuel approached slowly, his eyes not leaving Clara's figure standing in front of him. There was something different in Samuel's gaze this time, something that made Clara feel uncomfortable but also unable to look away.

"Yeah, just now... are you still working?" Samuel said softly, his voice sounding heavier than usual.

Clara nodded slowly, "I just wanted to make sure everything was neat before going to bed."

Samuel stared at her with an intensity that made Clara's heart beat faster. Without a word, he moved closer, the distance between them closing. Clara could feel the warmth of Samuel's body as he approached, the faint scent of alcohol on his breath.

"Clara..." he whispered softly but with emphasis, "you are very beautiful tonight."

Clara was stunned. Those words made her stunned, Samuel had never spoken to her in this tone before. Clara tried to step back a little, but Samuel's hand that suddenly touched her waist made her stop.

"Mr. Samuel..." Clara tried to speak, but her voice sounded weak. Samuel's gaze was so strong, as if he was trying to read every corner of her face.

"Shut up..." Samuel whispered, his fingers gently lifting Clara's chin, forcing her eyes to look directly into his. "I want you tonight."

Clara didn't know what to do. Feelings of fear and strangeness mixed within her. On one hand, she felt trapped, but on the other hand, there was a sense of curiosity and interest that she couldn't explain.

"Mr. Samuel, I don't think this is...," Clara's words were cut off when Samuel brought his face closer, his lips only inches from Clara's. "This is wrong...," he tried to warn, but his voice was getting softer.

"Shh...," Samuel cut her off again, this time more firmly, before his lips finally touched Clara's. The touch was soft but passionate, as if Samuel was pouring out all his pent-up feelings.

Clara was shocked, but the warmth of the kiss made her forget everything. Unconsciously, she returned Samuel's kiss, her hands starting to circle around the man's neck.

Their kiss deepened, filled with long-hidden passion. Samuel pulled Clara closer, their bodies almost closing in on each other. Clara could feel Samuel's rapid heartbeat, in time with her own.

"I want you, Clara...," Samuel whispered between their kisses, his hands starting to explore Clara's body gently, but full of desire.

"Mr. Samuel...," Clara tried to stop herself, but her body felt weak, as if every fiber of her being wanted what Samuel was offering.

Samuel didn't give Clara a chance to think further. He lifted Clara in his arms, carrying her to the nearest room. Clara's mind was in turmoil, between wanting to fight and give in to the current of such strong feelings.

Once in the room, Samuel gently lowered Clara onto the bed. His eyes were filled with lust, but also with a warmth that Clara had never seen before. Without a word, Samuel began to unbutton his shirt, each movement as if done with full awareness of what was about to happen.

Clara could only stare, still not believing what was happening. But when Samuel moved closer, touching her with such an intimate touch, she knew there was no turning back.

That night marked the beginning of a complicated relationship between Samuel and Clara, a relationship that began with a hidden attraction, but was full of unexpected consequences.

Flash Marriage To My Best Friend's Father

Flash Marriage To My Best Friend's Father

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch-a titan of industry and my best friend's father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.

I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. I expected a simple piece of paper, but the clerk’s pitying look told me my entire life was a lie. "The license was never finalized, Ms. Oliver. In the eyes of the state, you are single." The three-hundred-guest wedding at the Plaza and the Vogue features meant nothing. My husband, Gray Cooley, had intentionally filed the documents with a "procedural defect" so he could discard me without a legal divorce. Moments later, an iCloud invite titled "Our Little Secret" popped up on my screen. It was a photo of my best friend, Brylee, holding a positive pregnancy test at our Hamptons estate. Gray’s text to her was the final blow: "Happy anniversary, babe. This baby is the best gift. Once the trust unlocks today, we’re done with the charade." I soon discovered they were even stealing my career, reassigning my architectural masterpiece to Brylee while preparing my eviction notice. Gray's mother called me a "barren mule" in a leaked recording, mocking the infertility I suffered after saving Gray’s life in a construction accident. I wasn't a wife; I was a three-year placeholder used to secure his inheritance. How could the man I bled for treat me like a disposable prop? How could my best friend carry his child while pretending to comfort me through my darkest moments? The betrayal burned until it turned into a cold, hard stone of fury. I didn't cry. Instead, I walked into the penthouse of the Barretts, the Cooleys' most powerful rivals. I signed a marriage contract with Kane Barrett, the man the tabloids called the "Beast of Wall Street." "I want a wedding," I told his father, my voice steady and lethal. "Bigger than the one I had with Gray." If they wanted me gone, they would have to watch me become the woman who owns their world.
