ALORA: My beautiful dream

It's a new day ...

The sun slowly crept in through my midway opened window shining brightly at my face, I wondered what time it is, what day it is, ugh.. is it going to be another stressful day, what's that annoying sound.... Gotta check the f**king time. Is that 10 o'clock i see, I must still be dreaming... lol 😂. wait a minute...🤯

"Oh shit, i am late for school...." I screamed

"MOM, WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP" I cried out and hurried into my bathroom, brushed my teeth and took a shower, dressed up in a pair of grey suit trousers and a black turtle neck shirt with black boots. I head downstairs, immediately grabbed my breakfast and left for school with my mom on my trail waving goodbye.

Well, i am Ala and like everyone else i am just a girl with big dreams of having to own a gallery someday with my paintings hanging on the walls. But as we all know dreams don't come true or let's say even if it does come true, it's never an easy journey and that is why at weekdays i am a law student trying to earn myself a degree/certificate and at weekends, i am an art enthusiastic. However, i am not giving up, never. Today is just another day let's see how it ends😊.

The bus stopped in front of my school gate and I got down, I made my way to my classroom and there are my good friends_ Nina and Belle_

"Hi ladies, what are you doing"

"Shhhh, it's about to get interesting" Nina shushed

"Heyyy" I stretched in to see what they where doing and as usual they were watching a korea drama (The Most Beautiful) and the male protagonist is going in for a kiss with the female protagonist. Have i mentioned that my friends go crazy for korea dramas (Kdrama) and korea songs (Kpop), least i mentioned i introduced them into the K-life because I love everything about Korea ( the language, the songs, the food, the people, most especially their dramas, etc.) and now they are more invested than i am.

"Why isn't the lecturer in class yet"

"He called in sick so we are waiting for a substitute lecturer to fill in" Belle said and went back to watching her movie and here i was thinking about how humiliating it is coming in late, I joined the movie circle. Just when it was about to get interesting again, the substitute lecturer came in and we all sighed. We would be mad at the lecturer if he wasn't cute, the lecture went on as usual with some students trying not fall asleep and some students day dreaming. We had lectures and soon it was over. I and the girls went to the cafeteria for lunch.

" Ala, will you come with us to the concert on Friday" Nina asked

"What concert" I wasn't aware there was going to be a concert and I haven't been to one yet.

" Of course she is coming, it is going to be her first concert" said Belle, thanks so much for rubbing it in.

" It's the BTS concert and we got you a lightstick too, we also got tickets" said Nina, I and my friends are fans of all kpop group but they actually love BTS more. Don't get me wrong, i love BTS a lot but i actually love Ateez more. I am more of an Atiny than of an Army but my friends are strong Armys' but that doesn't mean i ain't going, i would love to go and Jimin is actually my bias.

" Really, you got tickets. How sweet of you, thank you so much" I squealed in excitement.

" Do you know it's weird when you act like that" said Belle, apparently i am not the type to squeal because i am more of a reserved kind of person.

"So on Friday is set right" asked Nina and Belle nods her head in agreement.

"What's happening on friday?" I asked

"We are going shopping" Belle replied

"Shopping?" I asked

"Yeah, shopping. You don't expect us to go looking like us." Nina replied

"What do you mean 'US'." I asked

"I mean, all our wardrobe is filled with corporate clothes or other clothes not fit for this occasion" Nina replied rolling her eyes, i stared at her with no more argument left in me.

"Fine, friday it is then." I said

"Alright ladies, time to get back to class"

We had lunch, went back to class, finished our lectures and went home. Another day spent and thankfully it wasn't so bad.
