Her parents had passed away. It was a day when she was twelve years old. Her parents died, and she was about to be killed by shapeshifters. Daenerys was terrified. Her eyes welled up with tears, but they also gleamed with hatred as she looked at them. 'Go to hell!' The moonlight bathed their claws, a silver light flashing in Daenerys's pupils. But she wasn't afraid. Faced with death, her gaze didn't waver; it was filled only with hatred. Just before the moment of life and death, a loud noise suddenly rang out. He appeared like a guardian angel. Each step he took made the moonlight retreat. He approached and saved her. He was the Alpha of the Black Wolf pack. He took Daenerys home, raised her, and cared for her in silence. But she was very afraid of him because this uncle Austin always had the look of 'the Grim Reaper.' Originally, they had an uncle and niece-in-law relationship, but in truth, he wanted more. Will this girl realize his feelings and accept them or not?

The Alpha's Curvy Cinderella Chapter 1 Alpha Austin

"Alpha Austin, you're...! You're drunk," Daenerys Dondarrion looked at the man blocking her path, her eyes showing a hint of panic.

Just a moment ago, she was watching TV when Austin William suddenly returned. Before she could go upstairs, he stopped her in the living room.

Austin often traveled for work and rarely came home, but whenever he appeared, it made her feel uneasy.

Austin stared at her without saying a word, his expression unreadable, which made Daenerys even more anxious.

Suddenly, Austin spoke.

"Are you afraid of me?"

Daenerys shook her head vigorously. "No, why would I be afraid of Alpha Austin?"

In reality, she was quite scared, but not because she feared Austin would harm her, but because his overwhelming presence made her feel uneasy.

"You little flatterer," Austin lightly pinched her nose and playfully scolded her.

Daenerys' heart raced from his action. "You...! Alpha Austin, you're drunk. You should go upstairs and rest."

"Yeah, help me to my room."

"Alright."

Daenerys bit her lip, took hold of Austin's arm, and shakily helped him up the stairs.

Seeing her flushed face from the effort, Austin asked, "Am I too heavy?"

Daenerys nodded slightly, but whiffled her head. "You're not heavy, it's just that I'm too weak."

Austin silently smiled and stood up straighter, no longer intentionally putting his weight on her.

Daenerys had just showered, and the faint scent of her shampoo wafted into his nose, making his gaze grow darker.

After helping him into his room, Daenerys placed Austin on the bed and prepared to leave.

But just as she reached the door, he called out to her.

"If I remember correctly, you're about to apply to universities."

Daenerys stopped and nodded in response. "Yes, I've already made my choice."

"Which university are you planning to attend?"

"University B."

Daenerys didn't notice the displeasure in Austin's eyes as she continued, "Jackson's father wants us to attend the same university to strengthen our relationship. After we graduate, we'll get married."

Six years ago, after losing both of her parents, Austin took her into the Black Wolf pack, where he provided for her, even supporting her education. Eventually, by a twist of fate, she became the betrothed of Austin's nephew, Jackson William, the future Alpha.

Now, her fiancé, Jackson, was attending University B.

Austin frowned. "You'll be only 22 when you graduate. Don't you think getting married that early is too soon?"

Too soon! At 22, she had experienced nothing yet, so yes, marriage was too early.

But...

At the moment, she didn't have the energy to discuss this with him, so she casually replied, "I'm following Jackson's father's arrangements."

Austin stared at Daenerys for a moment, his gaze deep and unreadable. The intensity of his look made her feel even more like a frightened deer, causing her to lower her head in worry.

"Don't you have your own opinions?"

"I..." Feeling Austin's anger, Daenerys was a bit confused, not understanding why he was suddenly upset.

Of course, she had her own thoughts!

In fact, her desire to attend University B wasn't entirely because of Jackson's father but also because attending University B had always been her biggest dream, a wish her late father had for her.

For the past three years, whenever the pressure of studying became too much, just thinking about getting into University B brought her happiness...

Austin coldly watched her, her fresh, makeup-free face glowing after her shower.

Her eyes were clear, characteristic of her 18-year-old innocence.

But as he thought about her marrying Jackson in a few years, his gaze grew more clouded, a wave of malice emanating from him.

Just as Daenerys felt she might suffocate under the weight of his glare, he said, "Come here!"

"Alpha Austin..."

Daenerys, startled, approached him.

She did not know why Austin was acting so out of character tonight.

"Change your application to University A," Austin commanded.

Daenerys looked at him in confusion. "Why?"

"Do you not want to change?"

"I like University B."

Austin suddenly stood up, towering over her. "Do you like University B, or do you like someone at University B?"

Daenerys, flustered by his imposing presence, stammered but insisted, "Jackson is my fiancé. Isn't it good for us to attend the same university?"

Hearing this, Austin clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles cracked. "You're really disobedient!"

With that, the smell of alcohol filled the air.

Daenerys thought Austin was about to hit her, so she closed her eyes in fear. Seeing her trembling with her eyes closed, Austin's anger cooled significantly.

He sat back down, regaining his haughty demeanor. "Go to bed."

To Daenerys, those three words felt like a pardon.

She exhaled in relief, not hiding her eagerness. "Alright, I'll go to bed now. Goodnight, Alpha Austin!"

With that, she didn't waste a second rushing out.

It was as if she feared Austin might suddenly change his mind and call her back.

Watching her slender figure flee in panic, Austin clenched his fists, his gaze cold.

Want to attend University B? Want to strengthen your relationship with Jackson?

Have you asked for my permission yet?

Austin's eyes unmistakably showed possessiveness.

...

The next day, at school.

After class, the teacher called Daenerys into the office.

Not knowing why, she nervously followed the teacher, wondering if she had done something wrong.

As soon as she entered, the teacher smiled warmly. "Sit down, Daenerys. Don't be nervous."

The friendly attitude left Daenerys a little puzzled.

"Daenerys, why didn't you tell us you're related to Mr. Keel? Your last name is Du, and his is Keel. No one would have guessed Mr. Keel is your uncle if you had said nothing."

Daenerys was about to clarify that Austin wasn't her biological uncle, but it didn't seem necessary.

"Sir, how do you know my uncle?" This was her biggest question.

"Well, you see, Mr. Keel changed your university preference. He wants you to attend University A. With your grades, getting into University A won't be an issue. He made a good choice."

"What?" Daenerys's eyes widened in shock, and she quickly stood up.

Remembering Austin's strange behavior the night before, she bit her lip in frustration.

"Sir, I want to change it back. I don't want to attend University A. Alpha Austin must have misunderstood."

"Well..." The teacher looked slightly troubled. "You might not know this, but Mr. Keel has already applied to the system, so there's no way to change it now."

Daenerys was stunned.

She wasn't naïve; she clearly understood that all of this was Austin's doing.

But why did he want to change her university preference?

...

Leaving the office, Daenerys's mood was terrible. Without Austin's phone number, she had no choice but to call his assistant, Ricard.

"Hello, Assistant Ricard. I need to speak with Alpha Austin."

"I'm sorry. Alpha Austin is very busy right now. He has an engagement tonight."

Daenerys insisted, "I really need to talk to him. Please tell me where he'll be tonight, and I'll go to him. I won't interfere with his work."

On the other end, Ricard hesitated before finally saying, "How about this, Miss Daenerys? I can't decide for Alpha Austin, but I'll ask him after work and call you. How does that sound?"

Daenerys had no better option. "Okay, I'll wait for your call."

She didn't know why Austin changed her university preference, but she would not compromise. She had to make Austin change it back!

This whole incomprehensible situation left her feeling extremely uncomfortable and resentful.

Outsiders could never truly understand the significance of attending Midorri University to her.

I stood at my mother's open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest's voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone-he brought Charla with him. He claimed she'd had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.

My bank account showed exactly $42.18, and my student loan notifications were flashing red. I lived in a sweltering Queens apartment with my Aunt Lydia, where the air was thick with the smell of stale frying oil and the constant threat of being homeless. Lydia handed me a grainy photo of a man twice my age and told me she had already "sold" me to him. He was a dry cleaner looking for a wife, and in exchange for my hand, he would pay off her credit cards and my debt. If I didn't show up for the date that night, my boxes would be on the curb by midnight. I arrived at the cafe in a state of panic, my selective mutism making it impossible to even breathe. In the crowded room, I accidentally sat at the wrong table. Instead of the man from the photo, I found myself facing Gerhard Holcomb—the cold, terrifyingly handsome billionaire whose family owned the very museum where I worked. He didn't send me away; instead, he studied my trembling hands and offered me a different deal: a two-year contract marriage, a two-million-dollar payout, and a strict clause forbidding any children. I signed the papers and moved into his Park Avenue penthouse, thinking I was finally safe. But when I went back to the old apartment to retrieve the only memento of my dead parents, Lydia lashed out, leaving me bleeding from a head wound. Gerhard’s retaliation was absolute—he had her arrested and her building foreclosed on within hours, claiming he was simply "protecting his assets." As I recovered in his silent, glass-walled home, I saw a call from a famous socialite flash on his phone, and a cold truth settled in my gut. I wasn't just a wife; I was a placeholder, a silent shield used to fend off the women from his past. I looked at the massive pink diamond on my finger and realized the silence I had lived in my whole life was about to become my most expensive prison. I had traded a life of poverty for a high-stakes game of shadows, and now I had to survive the man who claimed to own me.

Flash Marriage To My Best Friend's Father

Flash Marriage To My Best Friend's Father

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch-a titan of industry and my best friend's father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.

Burned by Poison, Saved by the Devil

My cousin Hailey paid a dock worker to assault me just to ruin my engagement. To survive the military-grade aphrodisiac she poisoned me with, I stumbled into a walk-in freezer and threw myself onto the only source of cold I could find-a man paralyzed by unnatural hypothermia. It was a desperate, primal exchange of my heat for his ice just to keep my heart from stopping. But when Hailey threw open the heavy iron door, leading my fiancé and the entire Bolton family to witness my "shame," her triumphant grin instantly vanished. She hadn't caught me with a low-life thug. She had caught me straddling Demetrius Maddox, the ruthless Iron King of Chicago. The air in the room dropped to absolute zero. My grandmother screamed in horror, and my father turned the color of ash. Hailey, blinded by jealousy, tried to double down. She pointed a manicured finger at the deadliest man in the city and called him a "nameless muscle" I picked up to defile the family name. She didn't realize she had just signed her own death warrant. I didn't cower. I realized this was the only chance to survive the family that wanted me dead. I walked up to the Devil himself, my body still humming with the poison, and looked him in the eye. "Kill me, and the cold inside you wins," I whispered, knowing he was dying from the inverse of my own poison. "I am the only doctor who knows how to cure you." Demetrius tightened his hand around my throat, his dark eyes assessing my worth. "Prove it," he growled. I turned back to my trembling cousin and signaled the enforcer to hand me the whip.
