Chapter 1 DON'T PLAY GAMES WITH ME.part.1

⛄ Chapter 1

The plane landed at Sheretmeyevo airport. The passengers on the plane started to stand up... getting ready to walk out of the plane. Morgan turned to me and Syden..

"Syden... Adiba... We're going out last. Let the other passengers get out first...".

Syden and I nodded. Twenty minutes later, a beautiful, tall, slender flight attendant approached us carrying Syden's mother's wheelchair, but Morgan immediately stood up and said...

"Mother has been sitting on the plane for eight hours, now let me carry her out of the plane."

The beautiful flight attendant smiled kindly and politely helped untie the seat belt in Syden's mother's seat. Morgan carried his mother Morgan and walked between the passenger seats of the plane. Aisyah's two children... Nabilla and Maryam were jumping up and down with joy while screaming...

"Thank God, we arrived in Russia."

Sholeha, their eleven-month-old sister, woke up because of the screams of her two older siblings and immediately cried loudly. Aisyah and Alif silenced Sholeha but she started crying even louder. Syden took Sholeha from Alif's arms..

"I want to carry Sholeha."

Sholeha began to cry, her beautiful round eyes blinking at Syden. I wiped Sholeha's tear-stained cheeks. What's funny... Soleha's two tiny hands grabbed Syden's cheeks... She immediately burst out laughing. we walked out of the plane to the arrival hall.. Long queue...for passport and visa control. After taking our luggage we went out. Several people approached Syden... they were talking near me, it turned out they were employees at Syden's office. I approached father...

"Dad, there are several employees from Syden's office who want to take us all to Syden's house."

Dad nodded, telling Alif to arrange it. 1 car accompanied father, mother, aunt Hanifah, uncle Hassan and Alif's parents, Morgan. 1 more car took Rowena, Aisyah, Alif, Alif's younger sister Siti, my twin younger cousins... Mohammad and Mohammed. the other car took Syden, his mother, me and my three nieces... Nabilla, Maryam, Sholeha. I noticed that my three nephews were very close to Syden and his mother. I was surprised by the direction of the road the car we were traveling on.

"Syden, where are we??". Syden was engrossed in playing with my three nephews, and only answered briefly...

"Go home, dear Adiba."

I looked at the road and turned to Syden's mother...

"Adiba is confused, this is not the way to Adiba's house, ma'am."

Syden's mother looked at me in surprise.

"Mother is also surprised, where are we going, beautiful Adiba."

Mom and I simultaneously turned to Syden . Ehmmm... Syden, my husband is starting to relapse into playing with secrets. I touched his mother's hand...

"Mom, your handsome son is starting to play secret games between the two of us."

Syden laughed loudly..

"Here we go back to our house."

Mother and I looked at each other... increasingly curious... The car stopped in front of the yard of a big house. We got out of the car, I was still amazed to see this big house.

"Syden, whose house is this.?"

Syden just laughed as he put Sholeha on his mother's lap who was sitting in a wheelchair. Syden pushed his mother's wheelchair.

"Come on, let's go in, Adiba."

I took Nabilla and Maryam into the house. My mother and I are still amazed. Mother asked..

"Actually whose house is this?."It doesn't seem polite for us to enter someone's house without the permission of the owner, Syden, my son ."

understand what Syden means".

Syden laughed loudly..

"Dear Adiba, you and my mother...you both own this house. We live in this new house, still don't you understand .?"

I shook my head..

"This house is too big. So where is the small house that Adiba lived in before, Syden.?"

"It's still there, dear Adiba."

My astonishment was starting to run out... I heard a voice...

"Assalamu mulaykum".

We turned to the living room door.. Father, mother, Alif's parents, aunt Hanifah, uncle Hassan, Siti, Alif, Aisyah, twins Muhammad and Mohammed, Morgan, Rowena. Syden hugged my shoulder while answering..

"Waalaikum salam, come on in...".

Everyone entered, amazed. Morgan approached Syden...

"Your new house is really big, Syden."

Syden laughed loudly while patting Morgan on the shoulder.

"I don't have a house. This is my mother and Adiba's house. I live by living with the two of them, Morgan".

Morgan answered...

"Syden now you know that with those two beautiful women you have to give in a lot."

Everyone laughed. Syden pushed his mother's wheelchair.

"There's a swimming pool behind here. If anyone wants to swim here, please."

Mother walked beside me...

"Masya Allah, is there a house this big for the three of you to live in?" Syden immediately turned to mother .

"There are six of us, ma'am."

Father asked...

"Who okay, Syden?"

Syden casually answered..

"Adiba, me, my mother and Aisyah's three children."

Everyone laughed at the expression on Alif and Aisyah's faces who were surprised to hear Syden's joke. Syden's cell phone rang. Syden took the call and walked hand in hand with me.

"Dear Adiba, someone is delivering food. Come on, let's get the food."

we opened the living room door, took several plastic bags containing food packages given by the food delivery courier. I'm still confused and don't know where the kitchen is. Syden took me to the kitchen.

"Come on, dear Adiba... Let's prepare food."

I saw Syden open a wooden shelf containing complete tableware. We moved the food onto several plates, put them on the dining table. I noticed that Syden was indeed a clever man... in a matter of minutes, everything was arranged on the dining table. Syden reported my mouth with tissuee.

"Your mouth is full of chocolate...it's always covered in chocolate like this, dear Adiba." I invited them to have lunch together. Syden fed his mother, I ate with the twins and Aisyah's two children near the swimming pool. After eating, we prayed Dhuhur together in the family room. Thank God, after the midday prayer together, we sat on the back terrace near the swimming pool.

"Father...mother...there's something I want to talk about."

My father who was sitting next to me immediately turned to my husband Syden..

"Come here Syden, let's talk."

everyone looked at Syden who moved to sit near mom and dad.

"Father, I want to hold a recital and send prayers for my late father."

With a fatherly attitude, my father stretched out his hands...

"Come here, Syden.."

Syden approached and hugged Abu who stroked Syden's head... then whispered Al Fatihah. I saw Syden's eyes filled with tears. Still with a fatherly attitude, father said...

"Syden, subhanallah.."It's really great that your mother taught you to still respect and love your late father. Even though you are successful at work, you still position yourself as a pious child who sends prayers to your late father."

I whispered to my father..

"Adiba doesn't get angry when my father hugs Syden, but Syden likes to get angry when him mother hugs Adiba. In fact, Syden once put a lot of peanut shells in Adiba's hair."

Dad and Syden laughed, dad saw me...

"Come here, dad, hug Adiba too."

I hugged my father, while looking at Syden.

"Syden... Adiba is fine..don't put a lot of peanut shells in Syden's hair. These are our common father. Come on, smile... Syden".

"Thank you, dear Adiba."

"Ehmmm... Adiba, please ask for the ice cream and chocolate in the refrigerator, Syden."

"Yes, dear Adiba."

Morgan approached us, saying..

"This pair of newlyweds is too much. We were waiting for your father to speak but instead the two of you hugged father and talked fondly. Come on, let's throw them both into the swimming pool."

We both just realized... Laughing as we released ourselves from father's arms

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch—a titan of industry and my best friend’s father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.

Nicole had entered marriage with Walter, a man who never returned her feelings, bound to him through an arrangement made by their families rather than by choice. Even so, she had held onto the quiet belief that time might soften his heart and that one day he would learn to love her. However, that day never came. Instead, he treated her with constant contempt, tearing her down with cruel words and dismissing her as fat and manipulative whenever it suited him. After two years of a cold and distant marriage, Walter demanded a divorce, delivering his decision in the most degrading manner he could manage. Stripped of her dignity and exhausted by the humiliation, Nicole agreed to her friend Brenda's plan to make him see what he had lost. The idea was simple but daring. She would use another man to prove that the woman Walter had mocked and insulted could still be desired by someone else. All they had to do was hire a gigolo. Patrick had endured one romantic disappointment after another. Every woman he had been involved with had been drawn not to him, but to his wealth. As one of the heirs to a powerful and influential family, he had long accepted that this pattern was almost unavoidable. What Patrick wanted was far more difficult to find. He longed to fall in love with a woman who cared for him as a person, not for the name he carried or the fortune attached to it. One night, while he was at a bar, an attractive stranger approached him. Because of his appearance and composed demeanor, she mistook him for a gigolo. She made an unconventional proposal, one that immediately caught his interest and proved impossible for him to refuse.
