In the twilight of a fallen kingdom, where crowns crumble and shadows dance, a young prince ascends the throne. His coronation, a bitter symphony of loss, echoes through the marble halls. For the rebellion has painted the palace walls with blood, leaving no trace of kin but whispers of survival. And then there's Teri-the weaver child, half-ghost, half-mortal. His existence, a riddle etched in crimson threads.Born lifeless, buried alive, he clawed his way back from the abyss, the scarlet filaments clinging to his tiny fingers like secrets whispered by the earth itself.Teri's became the third ghostweaver in centuries. His mother, eyes wide with wonder and fear, cradled him in her arms, defying death's decree. The others fled, abandoning the babe and his spectral companions. The great general, Teri's father, defied the usurper king. In a hidden chamber, he revealed a box-an enigma of destiny. Three artifacts nestled within, each pulsing with purpose. "Find their owners," the general urged, entrusting the box to his daughter, Darlene. "Escape," he whispered to his wife, urging her to flee with their children. The constables hunted, but the family eluded their grasp. Days turned to weeks, and news of the great general's demise reached Teri's mother. Alone, penniless, she remarried-a fragile alliance that would soon shatter.Teri's stepfather despised the weaver's gift-the communion with ghosts. A poisoned pastry stole Teri's sight, but not his resolve. When his mother's screams pierced the night, Selena, his spectral sister, whispered the truth. Fury ignited within him, and the stepfather met his end. The mansion crumbled, and Teri fled with his sisters-Selena's ghost, Darlene, and Elley, the five-year-old.Now, seventeen,Teri try to find the box that was taken away. As the sun kisses distant horizons, Teri embarks on a quest: to find the rightful owners, to unravel the tapestry of fate or perhaps, just perhaps,to weave a new dynasty from the strands of the past.

Chapter 1 The blind boy with red silk threads

KINGDOM ARILRIT

It was a night. The two carriages rattled along the lonely road, one carrying boxes of silver and the other carrying the young master dressed in black. His black hair was tied in a ponytail and his eyes were closed as he sat in a meditative posture. His hands rested on his knees and his sword lay beside him.

Sixteen men guarded each carriage, holding fire torches and lanterns to light their way. The wind howled as they walked. They were alert and wary, knowing that bandits could attack them at any moment.

Suddenly, a loud shout broke the silence. "Bandits!" One of the guards guarding the first carriage yelled. He pointed at a group of men in black who emerged from the bushes, wielding weapons and their face covered, revealing only their eyes.

The young master opened his eyes immediately and leaped out of his carriage. He looked at the bandits with a calm and steady gaze.

He held his sword firmly, ready to unsheathe it. "I don't wish to shed blood. I am not the kind of person who enjoys it. Brothers, I'll give you a piece of what I have if you promise to let us pass through this road peacefully." He said in a clear and authoritative voice.

The bandits did not reply. Instead, they heard a laughter echoing from the trees. The guards turned their heads in different directions, trying to locate the source of the laughter.

"A righteous man. Is that what you are?" The voice said mockingly. "Or are you just afraid of us?"

A masked bandit flew down majestically from a tree and landed on top of the carriage carrying the silver. The breeze blew his black cloak as he descended. His head was covered with a hood, his face was covered with a mask, and red threads were tied on his fingers. His sword was unsheathed and gleaming in the torchlight. His stature was that of a young man, but his aura was different from a mortal.

"Are you the leader?" The young master asked, looking at the masked bandit on top of the carriage.

"Leader or not, I don't have to answer your questions, dear nobleman." The masked bandit said with a sneer.

"What is in this carriage is a small portion compared to what is in your family treasury. Leave it here and run away, if you still value your life."

"The bandit is spouting nonsense! Young master, we should take action!" A guard yelled.

"Yes!" The other guards yelled in agreement.

"It's not the first time we've encountered bandits! You've always subdued them! We don't believe you feel intimidated by the little trick that masked bandit pulled! We will fight on your behalf!" Another guard yelled.

"Yes!" The other guards yelled again.

A guard was about to charge at the masked bandit.

But before he could reach him, the masked bandit stretched out his hands and the red threads on his fingers extended and wrapped around his neck. The guard was lifted by a thread from the masked bandit, choking and struggling to breathe.

"Ghost weaver." The young master muttered under his breath. He recognized the rare and deadly skill that the masked bandit possessed.

"Please release him. You can have everything." The young master said calmly, but with a hint of desperation in his voice.

The masked bandit tilted his head to look at the young master. "Oh? The nobleman is reasonable." He said sadistically.

The other guards murmured among themselves as the masked bandit withdrew his thread and the guard that was hanging in the air was dropped down.

The guard groaned in pain as his body hit the ground while he coughed.

"Young master, the master won't be happy with this!",a guard yelled.

"Yes!",the other guards yelled and murmured among themselves, feeling helpless and angry.

"It's not the first time we've encountered bandits! You've always subdued them!.I don't believe you feel intimidated by the little trick that masked bandit pulled!.We will fight on your behalf!",another guard yelled.

"Yes!", other guards yelled as they were about to jump to the top of the carriage to attack the masked bandit at the same time.

But before they knew it,the masked bandit threads splitted as the masked bandit stretched his two hands and their necks were wrapped with the red threads, making them to hang on the air.

"Demon!",the guard who was first dropped yelled as he gritted his teeth

"So you don't believe I could kill you all at once, eh?" The masked bandit said with a chuckle. "Or should I use one of you as an example?"

He tightened their necks with the threads, making the guards scream in pain.

"I'll be delighted." The masked bandit said sadistically.

"Release them! They don't know what you're capable of!" The young master shouted, feeling a surge of anger and fear for his men.

"Oh.So you know what am capable of,then?"the masked bandit tilted his head to the young master as he chuckled slightly.

"I don't know what your capable off.But if you drop them, they will listen to my command",the young master said, calmly".

The guards held the threads on their neck as they struggled to breath.

"Well.Am in a good mood",the masked bandit said as he dropped them on the floor.

"Heed my command!. leave the carriage of silver and escort me back to the residence.Anyone that wishes to disobey me ,can die for nothing",the young master said as he entered his carriage.

The guards escorted the young master out, leaving the carriage of silver.

The boy sat on too of the carriage alone .The other bandits were gone with the boxes of silver that was in the carriage and the three horses.

"I knew that you will come back",the masked bandit chuckled as he got down from the carriage and turned to the young master with his hand on his back.

"Did you think that you'll be able to catch us carrying the boxes of silver and attack us?.If that was your thought, then you're already late.I only stayed back to witness your disappointment".

"Huh,you're alone?.Not my business, you can't kill me.Goodnight, dear nobleman",he waved as he was about to walk away.

"Who are you?",the young master asked .

The masked bandit peeked over his shoulder,"why are you concerned with my identity. It's useless, dear nobleman.Go back to your rich abode".

The masked bandit was about to walk away but the young master moved swiftly towards him and the masked bandit escaped him.

He didn't use his threads or his sword against the young master as the young master didn't unsheathe his sword or used any weapon.

They used their hands to fight and in the process, the young master held the bandit mask as the bandit kicked him away.

The night wind blew the bandit hood back.

Under the moonlight, the young master could see the boys features. He was blindfolded, the night wind blew his silver medium length hair and his white skin.He found out it was a young boy behind the mask.

He gazed at the boy as the night wind blew his cloak and silver hair

"Silver hair,red thread,but..., you're blindfolded,could it be because you're blind or it's a type of skill",the young master muttered.

"Are you teri?",the young master asked curiously as he stood up from the ground.

The blindfolded bandit gasped as he flew away in the dark, passing trees.

"Wait!,i need to ask you something!",the young master yelled but the bandit was already out of sight.

The heavy iron gates of the Wilderness Correction Camp groaned as they released me after three years of state-sponsored hell. I stood on the dirt road, clutching a plastic bag that held my entire life, waiting for the family that claimed they sent me there for "rehab." My brother, Brady, picked me up in a luxury SUV only to throw me out onto a deserted highway in the middle of a brewing storm. He told me I was a "public relations nightmare" and that the rain might finally wash the "stink" of the camp off me. He drove away, leaving me to limp miles through the mud on a snapped ankle. When I finally dragged myself to our family estate, my mother didn't offer a hug; she gasped in horror because my muddy clothes were ruining her Italian marble. They didn't give me my old room back. Instead, they banished me to a moldy gardener’s shack and hired a "babysitter" to make sure I didn't embarrass them further. My sister, Kaleigh, stood there in white cashmere, pretending to cry while clinging to her fiancé, Ambrose—the man who had once been mine. They all treated me like a volatile junkie, refusing to acknowledge that Kaleigh was the one who planted the drugs in my bag three years ago. They wanted to believe I was broken so they wouldn't have to feel guilty about the "wellness retreat" that was actually a torture chamber. I sat in the dark of that shed, feeling the cooling gel on the cigarette burns that covered my arms, and realized they had made a fatal mistake. They thought they had erased me, but I had returned with a roadmap of scars and a hidden satellite phone. At dinner, I didn't beg for their love. I simply rolled up my sleeves and showed them the price of their silence. As the wine spilled and the lies crumbled, I sent a single text to the only person I trusted: "I'm in. Let them simmer." The hunt was finally on.

I was finally brought back to the billionaire Vance estate after years in the grimy foster system, but the luxury Lincoln felt more like a funeral procession. My biological family didn't welcome me with open arms; they looked at me like a stain on a silk shirt. They thought I was a "defective" mute with cognitive delays, a spare part to be traded away. Within hours of my arrival, my father decided to sell me to Julian Thorne, a bitter, paralyzed heir, just to secure a corporate merger. My sister Tiffany treated me like trash, whispering for me to "go back to the gutter" before pouring red wine over my dress in front of Manhattan's elite. When a drunk cousin tried to lay hands on me at the engagement gala, my grandmother didn't protect me-she raised her silver-topped cane to strike my face for "embarrassing the family." They called me a sacrificial lamb, laughing as they signed the prenuptial agreement that stripped me of my freedom. They had no idea I was E-11, the underground hacker-artist the world was obsessed with, or that I had already breached their private servers. I found the hidden medical records-blood types A, A, and B-a biological impossibility that proved my "parents" were harboring a scandal that could ruin them. Why bring me back just to discard me again? And why was Julian Thorne, the man supposedly bound to a wheelchair, secretly running miles at dawn on his private estate? Standing in the middle of the ballroom, I didn't plead for mercy. I used a text-to-speech app to broadcast a cold, synthetic threat: "I have the records, Richard. Do you want me to explain genetics to the press, or should we leave quietly?" With the "paralyzed" billionaire as my unexpected accomplice, I walked out of the Vance house and into a much more dangerous game.

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.
