A group of young men finds a map among their grandfather's books showing the path to an island filled with treasures, but there is a warning written above the map (Among the folds of complete darkness and the stillness of the night, beware of the whispering, stand firm and do not move, be like the statues scattered throughout the island, refrain from breathing if you can, If you cannot, then know that you are just an appetizer inside a large plate of food, made especially for him, that you are on his island, his kingdom, enjoy the day as you wish, among its picturesque charm, but be advised not to delve deep into it, lest you be dinner.) Then they set off on a sea trip in search of the island.

Anaconda Island Chapter 1 Discovery

Pieces of wood bound together by a strong, durable rope with sunken pores, an adhesive substance made by nature, black. Some call it black tar, but it differs from that made by humans. It was found inside a small lake in the heart of a deserted, uninhabited island. These pieces of wood have pillars attached to them.

In a large triangle shape, it carries a group of clothes that were well mixed until they became a large sail so that the air would push him away from the shore of Hell Island, as it was called, that of the unidentified young man who was found sleeping on top of the wood, showing signs of exhaustion and hunger, as his body was so thin that his bones protruded.

Under the skin of his body, and the length of the hair on his chin, which was scattered like the hair on his head, was disheveled. If his appearance indicated anything, it only indicated that he had been floating in those woods for months, not days.

On a calm day and a clear sky, on the deck of a cruise ship moving between the continents and cruising between the seas and oceans, a strong alarm sounded, issued by the captain of the ship, when he noticed that the sail was fixed to those driftwood on the surface of the ocean waters, then the ship captain stopped the ship at an appropriate distance from those timbers until...

The waves coming from the ocean water hitting the ship's hull did not push it away, then a small boat with some sailors on it descended from one side of the ship. That boat headed to that driftwood, and then they tied the timber to one side of the boat and pulled it near the ship.

One of the sailors tried to wake up the young man sleeping on the timbers, but to no avail, as he was unconscious. Another sailor climbed onto those wooden planks carefully, then carried the body of that young man and placed him inside the small boat of the ship. For a few minutes, the boat was lifted into the ship as it was. That person was transferred to the ship's doctor's room, who immediately began examining the young man and diagnosing his condition, then injecting him with some medical nutrients and some therapeutic medications.

Four days passed and the young man was still unconscious. At the end of the fourth day, he began to fidget in bed with rapid, distracted movements accompanied by his breathing, which showed on his features to anyone looking at him, that he was trying to escape from something that was frightening him. The doctor approached him and tried to attract the person's attention by calling for him.

"Calm down, you are on the deck of a ship, we are next to you, do not panic."

Unconsciously, the young man opened his eyes wide and jumped with his body, holding the doctor as he looked around and tried to utter some incomprehensible words, but after a few seconds his words became clear and were

"Be careful, he's coming. Be careful, you must enter the circle of fire."

The doctor injected the young man with a few sedatives so that he could control the state of panic that was possessing him. After a few moments, the young man calmed down and began to leave the doctor's body. Then he began to laugh hysterically but with calm movements due to the sedative controlling his body. Then he said, repeating more than once.

"I have survived. I am no longer on that island. I am even far from the shore. Hunger or thirst does not matter. They are better than the looks of those eyes that swallowed my friends."

The doctor said to him, "Yes, you survived. You are now on the Mariana cruise ship. Can you tell me your name?"

The man looked at the doctor and said, "Yes, my name is Mark Feldman, and I am about the same age."

He was silent for a while while looking at his hands and body, then he said

"I don't know. I don't know how much time has passed since I was on that island."

The doctor said, "Today we are in June 2025."

The young man opened his mouth in astonishment, then said, "What? Only, we set off on that trip in January 2024. Only a year and a half had passed. We thought it had been years since we were on that island."

The doctor smiled and said, "Okay, enough talking now. You have to take treatment and then eat some liquid food until you get better, then tell us what happened. Where are your friends?"

The doctor put some medication tablets into the man's mouth and then helped him swallow with some water. Then he contacted the ship's restaurant to send them some warm soup. Half an hour passed and the young man fell into a deep sleep again. The next day, when the young man woke up from his sleep, he found that the doctor had put He had clean clothes on one of the chairs next to the bed. The young man got up and picked up the clothes and then headed to the toilet attached to the room. After several minutes, the young man came out after shaving his beard and styling his head, wearing clothes that were a little larger than him due to his weak, thin body.

The doctor returned to the room after passing by some sick sailors on deck. When he looked at the young man, he smiled at him and said

"We thank God that you are now in good health. How about we go up to the deck of the ship to have breakfast and sit with the ship's captain and his assistants, and then you can tell us everything about what happened to you?"

The young man nodded in agreement, then moved to follow the doctor who left the room, and from there he climbed the internal staircase between the rooms, then the public staircase heading to a part of the ship's deck designated for sailors and those working on it. The young man looked around him and saw water surrounding the ship from all sides. He breathed deeply and smiled, then approached the wall. ship and shouted loudly

"Where are you, you vile person? Where are your eyes that were snatching everything that moved? Here I am, away from you, you will not enjoy the taste of my meat."

The ship's captain, Captain Nicholas, approached him and said

"Yes, you are far from Anaconda Island. It is an island considered one of the legends that we have all heard about but no one has seen. You are the first person. Sit down and have breakfast and then you will tell us everything."

The young man turned and looked at the table that had prepared the most beautiful and delicious dishes of cheese, pastries, French bread, and different types of jams. He quickly sat down in front of the table and began to eat everything quickly. The doctor said to him:

"Slow down, calm down, we won't run out of food, don't be afraid."

The young man said between his tears that fell and he did not know when

"Well, I forgot. He's far away and won't come to attack me anytime."

He started trying to eat slowly after dinner, and after a few minutes he felt full, so he sat back in the seat, smiling content with the pleasure of eating. Captain Nicola looked at him and said:

"I think now is the time for you to tell us about that island hidden in the heart of the ocean and no one has encountered it yet."

The young man sighed and then began to tell everything

Oh, none of my friends believed that one of us would be able to escape from that hell island. It started when I was in my last year of high school before university, with the return of my grandfather, Vladimir, who had been absent for more than ten years. When he returned, signs of panic were clear. His facial features and actions were filled with panic. He did not sleep at night and kept watching the streets from the window. He would often set fire to a lot of wood in a circle around the house.

He even dug a trench under the palace and made its walls of steel. That trench became a huge library for him. It contains hundreds of books that talk about snakes, their types and sizes, and also about how to kill them. There were also thousands of maps scattered all over the earth, and huge statues of large sizes were placed in the corners. These statues were always made of red glass stones.

One day they were gathered with... My friends were in my boat and I told them some of the stories that my grandfather used to tell me, about those treasures of pure gold, rubies, and coral scattered everywhere on Anaconda Island, and this is how my grandfather described and drew it, on the papers: Anaconda Island, swimming between chains of islands and forming a heart. These islands, although their land is filled with abundant bounties of fruits, various foods, gold, pearls, and coral, are deserted by humans.

No one can stay there or take a single jewel from that island. Only those who have bad luck will fall captive to that curse.

Over the years, all the residents of the neighboring islands have been offering human sacrifices, on the shores of that island, on the same day every year. The neighboring islands receive a young man no more than twenty years old. Every year, on the same day, the island's monster comes out to the shore to catch those sacrifices, devouring them entirely inside his mouth. The giant has the victim inside it for days, alive, but it is numb and unable to resist the influence of the poison that it inflicted on it through its strong and quick bite. It keeps the victim inside it to suck out all the traces of life from it, from blood, then skin, then flesh, by dissolving it with a burning acidic substance until... What remains are the bones, and he finally spits them out of his mouth in the heart of the island, at the top of the treetops, so the bones become the only trace that humans have come to that island.

I lay paralyzed on stiff white sheets, a prisoner in my own skin, listening to the rain lash against the window like nails on a coffin. My father, Elmore Franco, didn't even look at my face as he checked his clipboard. He just listened to the steady, monotonous beep of the heart monitor-the only thing proving I was still alive. Without a hint of remorse, he pulled a pen from his pocket and signed the Do Not Resuscitate order. My stepmother, Ophelia, stepped out from behind him, wearing my favorite pearl necklace and smelling of cloying perfume. She leaned close to my ear to whisper the truth that turned my blood to ice. "It was the tea, darling. Just like your mother. A slow, tasteless poison." She chuckled as she revealed that my fiancé, Bryce, had a two-year-old son with my sister, Daniela. My inheritance had been funding their secret life for years, and now that the money was secure, I was an inconvenience they were finally scrubbing away. As my father yanked the power cord from the wall, the beeping died, and the darkness swallowed me whole. I was being murdered by my own flesh and blood, used as a bank account until I was no longer needed. I died in that sterile room, drowning in the realization that every person I ever loved was a monster who had been waiting for me to take my last breath. Then, I gasped. I woke up in a luxury hotel suite surrounded by silk sheets, five years in the past-the very morning of my wedding. Next to me lay Basile Delgado, the "Wolf of Wall Street" and my family's most dangerous enemy. In my first life, I ran from this room in a panic and lost everything. This time, I looked at the man who would eventually destroy my father's empire and decided to join him. "I'm not leaving, Basile. Marry me. Right now. Today."

I woke up on silk sheets that smelled of expensive cedar and cold sandalwood, a world away from my cramped apartment in Brooklyn. Beside me lay Ezra Gardner—my boss, the billionaire CEO of Gardner Holdings, and the man who could end my career with a snap of his fingers. He didn’t offer an apology for the night before; instead, he looked at me with terrifying clarity and proposed a cold, calculated business arrangement. "Marriage. It stabilizes the board and solves the PR crisis before it begins." He dressed me in archival Chanel and sent me home in his Maybach, but my life was already falling apart. My boyfriend, Irving, claimed he had passed out early, yet his location data placed him at my best friend’s apartment until three in the morning. When I tried to run, I realized Ezra was already ten steps ahead, tracking my movements and uncovering the secret I’d spent twenty years hiding: my connection to the powerful Senator Grimes. I was trapped between a CEO who treated me like a line item on a quarterly report and a boyfriend who had been using me while sleeping with my closest friend. I felt like a pawn in a game I didn't understand, wondering why a man like Ezra would walk up forty flights of stairs on a broken leg just to make sure I was safe. "Showtime, Mrs. Gardner." Standing on the red carpet in a gown that cost more than my life, I watched my cheating ex-boyfriend’s face turn pale as Ezra claimed me in front of the world. I wasn't just an assistant anymore; I was a weapon, and it was time to burn their world down.

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.
