Queen Regina, a power hungry Queen, would do anything to be at the top and the first step to reach her goal was to give birth to a male child but it seemed like fate didn't want her to fulfill her goals because she gave birth to a female child instead. But Queen Regina wouldn't let the fact that she gave birth to a female child stop her though, not when she heard of a potion that could prevent a girl from growing breast and curves but make her have abs instead, exists.

Chapter 1 Prologue

In a dimly lit room, the moan and groan of a woman could be heard.

"Your highness keep pushing I can see the head of the baby." The midwife encouraged the woman in Labour.

"I can't, I'm tired". Queen Regina replied panting hard like she had just ran a marathon.

"Just one more and the baby would be out I promise". Sonia the midwife persuaded Queen Regina which made her agree.

Queen Regina closed her eyes and pushed really hard to the extent her veins almost bulged out her skin.

Moment later she felt something sticking out between her thighs and Sonia rushed to bring the child out cutting it's umbilical cord before wrapping the baby with a little blanket; holding the baby closely to her chest.

The cry of a new born baby soon filled the room and Queen Regina smiled brightly looking at her baby with pride in her eyes.

'Finally an heir to take over the throne'. she thought happily but did not forget to ask one important thing; the gender of the baby that is, since Sonia the midwife was busy with the baby to tell the gender.

"what is the sex of the baby Sonia?". Queen Regina asked anxiously.

"Sonia was startled by Queen Regina's anxious voice but soon composed herself and replied happily;

"It's a girl your Highness and she's going to grow up to become a beautiful princess, or even a Queen just like you"

"A WHAT?!". Queen Regina exclaimed sitting up abruptly, not caring for her present condition."It can't be, tell me you're joking and that this baby is a male Sherry!", She added in panic.

"Your highness, I would never lie or play pranks on you". Sherry replied abruptly, "you can take a look yourself if you want-". She was interrupted by the shrill cries of the infant and so she gently swayed the baby before handing her over to her mother.

"Your highness, she needs to be fed". Sherry said giving Queen Regina her baby and of course the sound of crying was suddenly gone and now replaced by the sound of sucking.

Queen Regina watched the baby in her hands and sighed in disappointment due to the baby been a female instead of a male.

"We have to keep this from everyone and no one should find out that this child is a female or else you shall suffer the consequences".The Queen threatened Sherry who nodded her head in agreement. She knew the Queen as someone who never makes empty threat, and also she loved her life and didn't want to die just yet.

Sherry knew why the Queen wanted to keep the real gender of the child a secret though. It was because the King was dead and so a heir was required to take over but the heir had to be a male, a prince and not a princess because princes were usually the ones to take over and rule while princesses were used to make an ally by marrying them off to other kingdoms but if the fact that the Queen gave birth to a female child was discovered, the throne would be given to an outsider and she was sure the Queen wouldn't want that.

"I understand your highness", Sherry replied."But you know this secret won't stay hidden forever because eventually your child is going to grow up to become a woman and she would grow Breasts and have curves right?". She added.

"I know and I would handle all of that 'cause now all that matters is that this child's real gender is kept a secret and that she would rule under guise of been a prince because I once heard of a potion that could stop a girl from developing features of a woman but make her develope features of a man instead exists and I would find that potion no matter what". Queen Regina said calmly with determination as she watched her baby suck her breast with gusto as if her life depended on it, which is half true anyway.

Poor child didn't know what plans her mother had for her.

I died on a Tuesday. It wasn't a quick death. It was slow, cold, and meticulously planned by the man who called himself my father. I was twenty years old. He needed my kidney to save my sister. The spare part for the golden child. I remember the blinding lights of the operating theater, the sterile smell of betrayal, and the phantom pain of a surgeon's scalpel carving into my flesh while my screams echoed unheard. I remember looking through the observation glass and seeing him-my father, Giovanni Vitiello, the Don of the Chicago Outfit-watching me die with the same detached expression he used when signing a death warrant. He chose her. He always chose her. And then, I woke up. Not in heaven. Not in hell. But in my own bed, a year before my scheduled execution. My body was whole, unscarred. The timeline had reset, a glitch in the cruel matrix of my existence, giving me a second chance I never asked for. This time, when my father handed me a one-way ticket to London-an exile disguised as a severance package-I didn't cry. I didn't beg. My heart, once a bleeding wound, was now a block of ice. He didn't know he was talking to a ghost. He didn't know I had already lived through his ultimate betrayal. He also didn't know that six months ago, during the city's brutal territory wars, I was the one who saved his most valuable asset. In a secret safe house, I stitched up the wounds of a blinded soldier, a man whose life hung by a thread. He never saw my face. He only knew my voice, the scent of vanilla, and the steady touch of my hands. He called me Sette. Seven. For the seven stitches I put in his shoulder. That man was Dante Moretti. The Ruthless Capo. The man my sister, Isabella, is now set to marry. She stole my story. She claimed my actions, my voice, my scent. And Dante, the man who could spot a lie from a mile away, believed the beautiful deception because he wanted it to be true. He wanted the golden girl to be his savior, not the invisible sister who was only ever good for her spare parts. So I took the ticket. In my past life, I fought them, and they silenced me on an operating table. This time, I will let them have their perfect, gilded lie. I will go to London. I will disappear. I will let Seraphina Vitiello die on that plane. But I will not be a victim. This time, I will not be the lamb led to slaughter. This time, from the shadows of my exile, I will be the one holding the match. And I will wait, with the patience of the dead, to watch their entire world burn. Because a ghost has nothing to lose, and a queen of ashes has an empire to gain.
