Chapter 1 Iasha Owens

"Iasha Owens....get up right this instant, you will be late for the introduction ceremony "

Iasha stifled a low groan and turned towards the other side of the bed. She knew what was going to happen today but the thought of it still made her shiver "Mom, I barely even know this man. What if he's old and has many pubs old enough to be my boyfriend?"

Before Iasha could register another befitting answer for her mother, a deep growl was heard threatening to come out of Mrs Ownes' mouth, just a little push and Iasha was sure, she would be going to the ceremony with one leg.

Iasha stared at her mother and rolled her eyes "Fine.....you don't have to threaten me with your wolf form, I'll move it okay" She stood up from the bed and headed towards the bathroom after which a loud bang was heard from the door.

Mrs Owens at the door like she could feel its emotions from inside. She felt really guilty inside lying to her only daughter about the introduction ceremony but if she had to reserve any dignity in the pack, she would have to release her daughter.

She stared at the door once more before walking out. Still lost in thought, she continued walking down the hallway like a lost soul trapped in another body.

"Any progress with Iasha, I can't have that girl stay any longer at my house" The voice pulled her out of her reverie, the voice she was most afraid of, the voice that tormented her even in her dreams, the Alpha Faewolf of the BlueMoon pack.

He fell to the ground trembling, with her head hung low "My Lord, please pardon my sluggishness, it will be accomplished soon enough"

The man stared down at the woman with a disgusted look and walked past her. After a few steps, he stopped and turned around "It better walk this time around". With that, he left without looking back.

Mrs Owens sighed in relief, stood up and returned back to her sly look. She would admit that she still wants him, he is the Alpha of the strongest breeds of werewolf that roams upon the face of the earth. She had made him fall for her sly tricks and used pregnancy as her way in, she wasn't going to let Iasha come in her way of maintaining her throne as the Luna of the BlueMoon pack.

Iasha was done with preparing but there was this nagging feeling she got that she couldn't just ignore, the feeling that there was more to the whole introduction ceremony than she was being told. It just didn't add up for her.

"My Lady, you look gorgeous, I know the werewolf lord will lack what he sees." Miriam squealed after putting the final touches on Iasha's face. She looked like a high schooler who had a crush on one of the hottest guys in class, whereas she was a 200 hundred-year-old Faewolf.

Miriam had been a maid the day she was born and now grew into serving the BlueMoon pack, She and Iasha had now become best of friends since Iasha was not allowed to associate with any Faewolf.

The trip to Iasha's bride-to-be's house was a very quiet one, which made Iasha more worried that something was just not right "Mom, is everything okay?"

"Huh", Mrs Owens was lost for a moment and forgot how to act, " I mean everything is fine.... What could possibly go wrong?"

"I don't know, You've been quiet all throughout and I thought something was wrong with you"

Mrs. Owens was getting frustrated with questions, so she secretly signalled Miriam to shut Iasha up. Miriam turned to Iasha " Iasha, did you read all the books I gave you yesterday?"

Iasha knew Miriam did that purposely, and to top it off, she didn't read any of them, so there was no reply she could give at the moment. She would just wait for the right time to strike back at Miriam.

They had stopped in front of a very large building. Everyone had stepped down from the car and stood in front of the large building. Mrs Owns walked to the gates of the building and whispered a few words to the gatekeeper, after which the gate was opened for them. The nagging feeling Iasha got before started getting severe, she couldn't help but wonder what sort of the man was to live in such a place, the place reeked of pure alcohol and smoke.

"Miriam...... don't you think it's weird?" Iasha held Miriam's hand to slow down her walking steps. Miriam was already filled with guilt for lying to Iasha, and now Iasha was questioning her.

"What......I... I .... don't.. don't think anything is weird" Iasha looked at her sceptically, Miriam was already trembling under her scrutinized gaze "Iasha focus, you would be someone's wife any moment from now, try and act properly "

"You just acted weird a few minutes ago, since when did you care about me being prim and proper?" Suddenly Iasha paused and looked at Miriam "Is there anything you're not telling me?"

Miriam dragged her into the building to avoid saying what she wasn't supposed to. The entrance of the building was very luxurious but what caught Iasha's attention was the pot-bellied old man sitting on a couch in the centre with 4 women touching in a disgusting sensual way.

The pot-bellied man, after sighting them, waved his hand at the women and they left. He stood up, adjusted his jacket and spread his hands while approaching them.

"If it is not my lovely wife and her entourage, welcome, welcome to my humble abode" Alpha Drake while looking at Iasha and licking his lips.

Mrs Owens was so happy when she saw Alpha Drake, she couldn't stop smiling "My Lord, I am delighted to finally meet you in person, I must say, you are more endowed than the rumours BlueMoon pack has heard about you "

"And you are?" Alpha Drake looked at her with a questioning gaze "I am not sure I know you enough to be so casual when talking"

Mrs Owens laughed it off and dragged Iasha to the front " I am the mother of your soon-to-be wife my Lord"

Alpha Drake nodded and stretched his hands towards the back, a big bag was given to him, he threw it towards and some coins fell out, Mrs Owens and started packing each and every coin that fell out, Alpha Drake snorted " I never want to set my eyes on you, she's mine now"

Iasha could not believe her mother was the one on the floor packing coins so greedily " Mom" tears welled up in her eyes but the Luna paid no attention to Iasha "How could you do this to me for money Mom" she turned to Miriam with a disappointed look.

Iasha wiped her tears and looked at her mom still greedily packing the coins "Both of you, get lost now "

"Ooooooooo.... My soon-to-be wife is taking charge, I like this" he turned to the guards with a serious expression "You heard the woman, get them out of here" With that, he grabbed Iasha by her hand and took her inside.

Both women tried to reach out to Iasha, one to apologise and the other to beg for more time to pack her coins, but all to no avail. Alpha Drake took her to one of his rooms and threw her on the bed.

"You know how it's done young woman, strip, now" Iasha was disgusted when she saw him opening the zip of his pants but she wasn't going to let him have the satisfaction he wanted.

"No, I will not belittle myself for an old man who is old enough to be my great-grandfather" After saying that, Iasha adjusted her gown and tried to stand up and she received a resounding slap from him.

Iasha could feel the sting on her left cheek, tears flowing was evidence of the pain it caused. Alpha Drake was enraged and asked his guards to beat her up and put her in a sack. Iasha was whipped until she lost consciousness but one word rang in her ears before losing consciousness 'Demon Market'.

They arrived at the demon market, Iasha was then pulled out from the carriage and carried upstairs. She was placed on the bed and the sack was taken off of her, after a few minutes Iasha woke up due to the water pouring on her.

Alpha Drake walked to the middle-aged woman dolling up in the vanity "Up for sale, make sure you stake higher, she's a fine one" With that, he left.

The old woman turned towards Iasha and hissed before walking out. As soon as she stepped out, Iasha regained herself and started searching for a way to escape. She could think of many ways but they all led downstairs which was a big no for her. She slumped in defeat with tears leaving her eyes. While crying, her eyes caught something, the window, How could she not think of it?

Iasha immediately searched for fabrics around and made a knot, forming a rope. She threw the rope out of the window and climbed the window using the rope as a support to come down. It was all going well till she heard his voice.

"What are you doing?"

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.

The Billionaire's Medicine: His Silent Obsession

My stepmother sold me like a piece of inventory to a man known for breaking people just to plug the financial crater my father left behind. I was delivered to the Morton estate in the middle of a freezing storm, stripped of my phone, and told that if I didn't make myself useful, my senile grandfather would be evicted from his care facility by noon. The master of the house, Adonis Morton IV, was a monster living in a silent mausoleum, driven to the brink of madness by a sensory condition that turned every sound into a physical assault. When I was forced into his suite to serve him, he didn't see a human being; he saw a source of agony. In a fit of animalistic rage, he pinned me to the wall and nearly strangled me to death just for the sound of a shattering teacup. I only survived by using my grandfather’s secret herbal blends and pressure-point therapy to force his overactive nervous system into a drugged sleep. But saving him was my greatest mistake. Instead of letting me go, Adonis moved me into a guest suite connected to his own bedroom by a hidden door. He didn't just want me as a servant; he needed me as a human white-noise machine to drown out the demons in his head. The nightmare deepened when he took the promissory note that defined my freedom and tore it into confetti. By destroying the debt, he destroyed my exit strategy. He replaced my maid’s uniform with a silver silk dress that clung to my skin but did nothing to hide the dark, ugly bruises his fingers had left on my neck. He branded me as his "primary care associate," a title that was nothing more than a gilded cage. I felt a sickening sense of injustice as he forced me to sign a contract that banned me from contacting other men and required me to sleep wherever he slept. He looked at me with a possessive heat, calling me his "medication" rather than a woman. My family had sold my body, but Adonis Morton was intent on owning my very presence, using my grandfather’s medical bills as a leash to keep me within twenty feet of him at all times. Standing in a neglected greenhouse with mud staining my expensive silk, I realized I was no longer a victim waiting for rescue. If I was going to be his medication, I would learn how to be his cure—or his undoing. I began clearing the weeds with a cold, calculated frenzy, determined to turn this prison into my laboratory. He thinks he has trapped a helpless girl, but I am going to pry open the cracks in his stone walls until his entire world comes crashing down.
