A relentless downpour incessantly drenched the towering glass and concrete skyscrapers at the heart of Seoul. The usual red and blue neon lights that illuminated the city's nightscape were now obscured by mist and drizzle. In one of the executive rooms on the top floor of a building, an atmosphere of tension hung heavily. Kang Joon-ho, still young at that time, entered the room with a pounding heart.
With a resolute gaze, Joon-ho's father, Kang Dae-ho, stood by the window overlooking the rain-soaked city. As the head of the Kang family company, he had struggled to uphold his family's honor and achieve success in the business world.
However, on that night, everything changed.
Wearing his usual black suit, Joon-ho's father spoke with a voice that carried weariness, "We've been betrayed, Joon-ho. The Shin family, our biggest competitor in the business, has committed a massive fraud that's devastated our stock value."
Joon-ho looked at his father with eyes filled with confusion. "What happened, Father?"
With heavy steps, Kang Dae-ho picked up a document from the table and pointed it out to Joon-ho. The document contained evidence of stock manipulation, financial conspiracy, and business ethics violations committed by the Shin family. All of it had inflicted significant losses upon the Kang family company.
Joon-ho swallowed hard as the sun disappeared behind dark clouds. "How could they do this?"
Kang Dae-ho let out a deep sigh. "Money and power can change people. They want our position, and they know this is the fastest way to get it. The entire future of our family now depends on what we do next."

Kang Joon-ho's body was drenched in sweat as he suddenly jolted awake from his sleep, gasping for breath. His breathing was ragged, and his heart pounded fast as if he had just relived painful moments from the past. He rubbed his eyes with trembling hands, attempting to dispel the haunting images still etched in his mind.
The raindrops continued to patter softly against his bedroom window, creating a soothing sound. However, this calm atmosphere contradicted the anxious feeling that gripped Joon-ho. He reached for his mobile phone on the bedside table and checked the time — it was still early in the morning.
"Kang Joon-ho," he murmured to himself, trying to quell the tension within him. It felt like he had been transported back to the dark times he had experienced.
Then, with hesitant steps, Joon-ho rose from his bed. He walked towards the balcony that faced Mount Fuji, which was waking up from its night's slumber. The faint morning light began to seep through the clouds, painting a beautiful blend of orange and purple hues across the sky.
He stood there, inhaling the fresh air deeply.
