"I clothe you, I feed you. So I have every right over you!" These were Cindy's words to her 27-year-old handsome boyfriend, Peter Richards. Cindy was from a prestigious billionaire family. Being the only daughter of her billionaire parents, she was ruthless, authoritative, and most men ran away from her, having heard about her character from rumors. Peter was from a poor family home, and luckily a day came when he met Cindy at a shopping mall. He offered to help Cindy carry her bags. Without any accommodation of his own, as he squatted with some wanderers under a bridge where he slept every night, Cindy decided to help him. Cindy bought a house for Peter, but she was brutal with her choice of words to him and she disrespected his family. Peter was a graduate, as his poor family managed to sponsor him through university, but he didn't have any job. Not wanting to return back home to his parents in the village empty-handed, Peter squatted with friends who later threw him out when he refused to join their fraudulent business. Cindy frustrated Peter's life, even giving him her underwear to wash, until one day, Cindy's best friend saw Peter and she fell in love with him too. Lora Adams offered Peter a mouthwatering job, and also showed him care, despite knowing that Peter was still in love with Cindy and not minding Cindy's ruthlessness towards him. One day, Cindy came back home, and she caught Lora pants down with Peter, leaving her heartbroken. Cindy broke up with Peter, and she sent him away. But what will she do when she finds out that she's pregnant with his child? Will they meet again? Read to find out what happens next .
A red car pulled to a stop in front of the shopping mall, and a 24-year-old young lady named Cindy Williams stepped out of the car, shutting the door behind her before walking up to the shopping boutique in front of her.
Cindy clicked her red high-heeled shoes as she walked on the cemented ground, hurrying toward the female shopping boutique to purchase the clothes she needed for her best friend's birthday party.
With the sun burning brightly on her beautiful fair skin, Cindy frowned as she realized she had forgotten her umbrella in the car but couldn't walk back to retrieve it.
She sighed and entered the shopping mall. "Phew!"
Cindy took out a white handkerchief from her red purse and wiped the sweat off her forehead before returning the handkerchief to her purse and glancing around the shop.
She was wearing a white gown that hugged her body tightly and accentuated her figure.
Cindy attracted a lot of attention as she was the epitome of beauty.
She looked inside the shop she had entered. A saleswoman walked up to her.
"Welcome, Ma'am. What do you want to buy today?" the black skinned saleswoman asked Cindy.
"Let me see the types of dresses you have for a birthday party," Cindy requested.
"Okay, madam. This way, please," the saleswoman ushered Cindy to view the selection of women's clothing they offered.
Cindy followed the saleswoman slowly, staring at the samples of clothes and at the other women doing their shopping in the boutique.
Cindy didn't touch any of the gowns she saw; she simply stared and walked past them with an expressionless face.
The saleswoman showed Cindy the collection of gowns they had, and she asked, "Which length of gown do you want, madam? Long or short?"
Cindy looked around again and replied, "I don't know. What do you think will fit me? I mostly love to wear white."
The saleswoman gulped and replied with a smile, "I don't know, madam, but this white gown you're wearing really looks pretty on you. Would you prefer another cute white gown like this, perhaps longer or shorter?"
Cindy exhaled and said, "Hmm. White is my favorite color, but I'm thinking of something different-maybe blue, yellow, or green gowns. What do you think?"
The saleswoman replied, "Let me check."
Cindy stood to the side as she watched the young lady attending to her pull out various gowns-yellow, blue, red, and green. But none of the gowns seemed to interest Cindy.
Cindy frowned as she did not like any of the garments the saleswoman was showing her.
Not wanting to walk out of the boutique rudely, Cindy realized she had wasted the saleswoman's time. She then asked, "Do you have any white suits? I love white suits too. Let me see the white suits you have. I need to look anew since the party is tomorrow."
"Okay," the saleswoman replied with a smile. One thing her manager had trained her in was to satisfy customers with whatever they requested to see, no matter how many items they rejected.
"Can you wait here for me, madam? Let me go and bring the white suits. Or would you like to follow me over there to see and try them on?" the saleswoman asked Cindy.
"Okay, I'll follow you to see it," Cindy replied as she followed the saleswoman.
They walked to another section of clothes, and Cindy saw a beautiful white suit displayed on a mannequin.
Cindy loved the golden collar design of the white suit coat, which had only two front buttons and a white pencil-shaped trouser underneath.
"Wow!" gasped another lady standing beside the suit, also admiring it as she negotiated the price with a fair-skinned saleswoman attending to her.
Cindy loved the white suit immediately, wasting no time as she pointed to it and said to the black-skinned saleswoman assisting hee, "I want that suit! Package it for me; let me have it and leave."
The young lady, who had been negotiating for the same white suit, glared at Cindy irritably. She, too, wanted to buy the suit, but the price was steep-$10,000. Yet Cindy had come out of nowhere, wanting to purchase the suit.
The young lady was Maria Brown. She was fair-skinned, tall and beautiful with slender figure like Cindy. She could see how arrogant and nonchalant Cindy appeared, and she grimaced, looking away from her and back to the fair-skinned saleswoman assisting her.
Maria asked, "Do you have any other white suits? I really want this particular one, but the price is the issue."
"No, madam, we don't have another white suit. This is the last piece left. Are you purchasing it now or not? We have another customer who wants to buy it," the fair-skinned saleswoman politely explained, but the news didn't sit well with Maria.
Maria narrowed her eyes at Cindy in anger. She opened her purse and calculated all the money she had, including her debit card, but found it wasn't enough to buy the beautiful white suit.
Cindy stared at the black-skinned saleswoman attending to her and asked, "What's going on here? Why is it taking so long to package this white suit for me? Do you want me to leave it and go elsewhere?"
"No, madam, please wait. This lady here actually wants to buy this suit first, before you requested it," the black-skinned saleswoman kindly clarified to Cindy.
Cindy's eyes met the Maria's, and she looked away, saying, "Then I'm out of here. I cannot keep standing here waiting for you to finish all of this. Do you know who I am?"
Maria, unable to purchase the suit due to insufficient funds, looked at Cindy with disdain, asking her, "Who are you? Just because you're rich, you think you can oppress others? Do you know who I am?"
Cindy's jaw dropped as she looked back at Maria in shock, but she didn't respond, noticing the lady seemed a bit older than her.
Cindy shifted her gaze back to the saleswoman assisting her and said, "Since I've wasted so much of your time today, I will give you only ten seconds to arrange this white suit for me. Otherwise, I will leave and go elsewhere to purchase it. But first, let me see the jewelry you have."
Maria hissed loudly as Cindy ignored her. She knew her money wasn't enough to buy the expensive suit.
She turned back to the fair-skinned saleswoman, asking, "Can I deposit this money for the suit? I will return to pick it up and complete the payment later."
"I'm sorry, madam, but credit isn't allowed here, nor is advance payment."
"Why? I hope it's not because of that lady that you don't want to sell this beautiful white suit to me?" Maria asked in a cold voice.
"No, madam. Why wouldn't I sell it to you if my manager accepted credit or advance payments? You can check outside at our banner. It states clearly at the entrance door: NO CREDITS ALLOWED HERE," the fair saleswoman explained.
"Hmm...That's alright. Then it means I will come back some other time to purchase it. Or you can help me talk to your manager about it to buy another similar suit like this exact design and size. I will be back," Maria replied, sighing frustratingly.
"Okay, madam. I will inform my manager about it," the fair-skinned saleswoman replied, while Cindy returned and asked, "Is my suit ready or not?"
Maria hissed again and angrily walked away, subtly pushing Cindy aside as she left the shopping boutique.
Cindy was startled, but she sighed and asked the two saleswomen, "How much are all the items I have bought here? The shoes, necklace, diamond earrings, bangles, and this suit?"
The black-skinned saleswoman punched the calculator and calculated all the items Cindy had purchased from their store, speaking up, "That will be $50,000."
"Hmm, no discount?" Cindy asked as she took out her debit card to pay.
"No, madam. That's the fixed price," the black-skinned saleswoman replied with a smile.
"Okay, package everything; let me leave here," Cindy huffed. The black-skinned saleswoman immediately packaged everything in a white nylon bag and handed it over to Cindy.
Cindy collected the bag and walked out of the shopping boutique.
