Chapter 18: student president

The whole school was in a buzz. It was because of the elections going on. All the candidates are all done soliciting for votes and all their rallys.

Julia got ready with Georgia and Hannah and they all went straight to school to support Glynn.

It looked really tough because of the candidates with their questionable clashing characters. And there were about six of them. They were all good nevertheless and in their best outfits and composure, fully prepared for any outcome.

Glynn looked calm and collected.

There was this guy competing with her for student president and he seemed to be all over the place busy forcing votes and bribing junior students. It was so bad that Glynn's army got scared, and Glynn wasn't even aware of this.

They were all in the hallway and were told to line up according to their class levels, which they did.

It took a while for the whole school to finish casting their votes and they counted it all with an automatic computerized system because it was easier and faster so for every thumbprint and name it was immediately and automatically registered as a vote.

So they counted it and it turned out Glynn and the guy, Norman, had a tie as the highest so of course, had to re-do the election process again. Glynn was already very tired of the whole thing so she stepped down to rest for a while.

Norman stepped down too and left. Julianna was cooling off after the election stress when she saw Norman trying to bribe a student to convince all his classmates to vote for him. Julianna filmed it immediately and went to tell Glynn.

When Glynn saw it she was pretty upset because the elections were supposed to be won fair and square and with the voters will. They aren't meant to be forced into doing what they don't want to do or forced into voting for who they don't want to win because it's their right.

She went to show it to the school board immediately and proved that she was supposed to win fair and square. She looked fierce and wonderful. After she proved her point they appointed her immediately as the student president of the year.

"Meet Glynn, your student president!!"

Glynn gave her speech right after.

"Thank you all that voted for me, I promise to be the best student president yet. Come to me for any issues and I'll be sure to help you guys in any way I can, I still remain your loyal student president!!!"

There were cheers from every angle while Norman stayed in a corner awaiting his punishment. Of course they found out he got suspended for a whole year immediately by the school board.

The girls went out to celebrate.

It was a day of joy and smiles were everywhere especially on Glynn's face.

"It's my treat today, thank you guys for voting and most especially lets give it up for Julia for filming Norman's bad political behavior"

"You're welcome glynn"

"This is the second time you're saving me again, thank you so much"

"Anything for you dear"

And they hugged each other.

After a while they settled down and ordered their meals. Dixie came in shortly to congratulate Glynn. It was a day of joy and happiness for everyone. Others came in their troops to wish her too. She was the center of attention today, the latest celebrity of the school.
