Enamoring My Cousin Chapter 1 1

She watched intently, the boy standing only a few feet away. She sighed, she knew he would never give her the attention she had always longed for. For so many years Ana had always been lost: under the infatuation and enchantment of her cousin.

" "Why are you looking at me so much? " "asked her cousin, raising his eyebrows in amusement.

" "I'm not looking at you, I'm just... " "

" " Then what are you looking at? After me there's a wall. So I guess you're not looking at me, then what are you looking at? " "He asked with a sideways smile, "Do I have to worry about you looking at a white wall? " "he said and laughed.

Ana rolled her eyes. She still couldn't understand, how could she feel so much for someone like that? But there she was, like, more than in love and lost for her cousin. Anyway, the two were not blood cousins. Ana was more than aware that she had been adopted when she was only four years old.

Although with the passage of time, that infatuation that had been born when she was only 11 years old had only increased. It had only increased. Ana, at 18 years old, felt quite in love.

Apart from everything is that Leonardo was younger than her.

Leonardo was 14, and she was 18. But the boy was very intelligent for his age.

But she knew it was something completely impossible.

And so it went through the years, Ana had the hope of turning older, so that there would be a possibility between the two of them.

When she turned 22, those doors of hope opened very easily for her.

As soon as she saw her cousin walk through the door, she couldn't help but smile. He himself was 18, and she was 22.

That way, at that age, they paid attention to her. Although in part, it was very difficult not to feel something for him.

Even she didn't understand: how such a strange feeling she had developed for her cousin.

Why did she feel that way about someone, who had basically grown up together? She didn't understand him, to tell the truth it was very confusing for her.

But there she was, feeling quite obfuscated, watching her parents sort of laugh at something while she felt her world being turned upside down.

Briana, as soon as she saw her daughter with a sad look on her face: she didn't hesitate a second longer to approach her. She knew perfectly well that her daughter was in love with her cousin.

Even though they were not blood related.

" "What is it, my child? " " she wanted to know.

" "Nothing... nothing is wrong with me," she commented simply and simply walked away.

Turning her back to her mother and hearing about the situation she was taking prisoner.

As soon as she stepped outside, she ran right into Leonardo. He turned around confused by the impact that had been generated in his body. As he turned around he found his cousin, as always she would look with tousled blonde hair, with a strange countenance.

" "What's the matter with her now ?

I woke up in a blindingly white hotel penthouse with a throbbing headache and the taste of betrayal in my mouth. The last thing I remembered was my stepsister, Cathie, handing me a flute of champagne at the charity gala with a smile that didn't reach her eyes. Now, a tall, dangerously handsome man walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his hips. On the nightstand sat a stack of hundred-dollar bills. My stepmother had finally done it—she drugged me and staged a scandal with a hired escort to destroy my reputation and my future. "Aisha! Is it true you spent the night with a gigolo?" The shouts of a dozen reporters echoed through the heavy oak door as camera flashes exploded through the peephole. My phone lit up with messages showing my bank accounts were already frozen. My father was invoking the 'morality clause' in my mother’s trust fund, and my fiancé had already released a statement dumping me to marry my stepsister instead. I was trapped, penniless, and being hunted by the press for a scandal I hadn't even participated in. My own family had sold me out for a payday, and the man standing in front of me was the only witness who could prove I was innocent—or finish me off for good. I didn't have time to cry. According to the fine print of the trust, I had thirty days to prove my "rehabilitation" through a legal marriage or I would lose everything. I tracked the man down to a coffee shop the next morning, watching him take a thick envelope of cash from a wealthy older woman. I sat across from him and slid a napkin with a $50,000 figure written on it. "I need a husband. Legal, paper-signed, and convincing." He looked at the number, then at me, a slow, crooked smile spreading across his face. I thought I was hiring a desperate gigolo to save my inheritance. I had no idea I was actually proposing to Dominic Fields, the reclusive billionaire shark who was currently planning a hostile takeover of my father’s entire empire.
