BEWARE CONTAINS MATURE CONTENT "Nothing much love, I just want to be your friend." He smiled. He stopped in front of her, he stared at her intensely. "Friends don't break into each other house, friends don't harass their friends." She pointed out. "Well, I don't want a normal friendship little mouse, have you ever heard of friends with benefits?..." ....... Ruth Davidson is a 26 years old girl who had lived a boring life all her life, she moved from New York to Las Vegas and that was when her life took a drastic turn when she moved to a new neighborhood with a fuckboy as a neighbor.

Sex And Games With The Mafia Lord Chapter 1 A change of environment

Ruth just stood in front of her boss who was staring right back at her with sadness in her eyes, she just resigned from her job but her boss is not willing to let her go.

"Please Miss Davidson what can we do to make you stay? Should we increase your salary?" Her boss asked feeling perplexed by her decision to quit.

"No I don't want that ma'am, I am relocating to a new town and that's why I have to quit, I'm sorry I didn't inform you beforehand." She apologized.

"It's fine, it seems like your mind is already made up, and there is nothing we can do. Pass by HR to collect your final payment, I will add a little bonus for you." Her boss said, they shook hands and she left the office. She passed by HR and collected the heavy envelope prepared by her boss, she bid everyone goodbye and left the company.

Ruth Davison is a girl who doesn't have much but neither does she have less, she is average. She has been living a boring life all by herself with no one to help her spice things up, her parents are no more living her all alone in this world. Ruth decided to quit her job and relocate from New York to Las Vegas AKA Sin City, she wants to do fun things to spice up her life and Sin City seems to be the best place for that.

She entered her small yet comfortable apartment, and she already packed bags stood next to her bed. She looked at the room one last time before carrying her stuff out of the house. She took a taxi to the airport, she sat on the long role of chairs while waiting for her flight to be announced.

Her dark brown eyes didn't wander around, she just stared at her fingers while waiting, her chestnut brown hair was tied to a pigtail, and her normal lips curved into a little smile when she saw a little girl playing with her doll.

"The three o'clock flight from New York to Las Vegas." Her plane was announced, she picked up her bags, she had the window seat, if it were a taxi she would have loved it but it's a plane and she is not a friend to height.

She cursed her stars for choosing such for her and thinking it was a five hours and thirty-five minutes flight.

She laid back in her seat and closed her eyes, she slept throughout the journey, and when the plane finally rolled down to the airport in Las Vegas, she woke up.

Ruth boarded a taxi heading to her apartment, she had rented an apartment a few days before. She passed by the landlady's house and collected her keys, she couldn't wait to enter her room and sleep.

The room wasn't big, it has just one bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, and a toilet. The apartment was painted light blue, with two single sofas and a glass table. The kitchen wasn't too big but it was ok for her, her room wasn't exquisite, just plain.

"God it was tiring." She muttered, she dropped her bags and went to the bathroom. She stripped herself naked and walked to the shower, twisted the faucet, and let the water cascade down her body.

"Feels so good," she muttered to herself enjoying the feeling of the warm water on her body, after bathing she went to her room and got ready for bed.

Just when she closed her eyes to sleep, she heard weird sounds, first, it was a bed creaking then loud moans, the moans were too loud you would mistake it for a crowd of people cheering in a football match.

"For the love of God, why now?" She buried her head in her pillow and screamed. She stood up and went out of her apartment and that's when she noticed that her apartment is connected to another, and it seems her neighbor is going to be a big problem.

She banged on the door hard hoping to catch their attention but it seems like the two people in the room are in too deep in whatever they are doing.

"Keep it down, some of us are trying to sleep," she yelled but still nothing. She left and went to her room raging.

The next day around eight in the morning, Ruth had prepared to go job hunting, she had forgotten about the incident at night but it seems her neighbor is out for her blood.

"So you were the one banging on my door yesterday, welcome new neighbor." He flashed her a toothless smile.

"And you were the one who deprived me of my sleep, thank you, neighbor." She flashed him an insincere smile and left after locking her door.

"Next prey," he muttered to himself and went in. It seemed like the lady he brought last night had left seeing as he was all alone.

Ruth was able to get a job in a company forty-five minutes from her house, she got the post of the C.E.O's PA. She is to start work tomorrow and she can't wait for it to happen.

She went home humming a tune her mother would always sing for her when she was young. She entered her house and was heading to her room not bothering to switch on the light when all of a sudden the bulb lit up, she yelled thinking a thief had broken into her house.

"There's no difference," she heard someone say, she took a swift turn to the right, and there he was at the back of her door none other than her neighbor.

"How did you get into my house?" She asked taking huge steps away from him just in case he was dangerous.

"Our rooms are identical," he said ignoring her question.

"How did you get into my house?" she repeated.

"It wasn't that hard, let's not talk about that. You are pretty, let's get to know each other, I'm Robert Pattinson," he stretched out his hand though there was a good amount of space between them.

"get out of my house!" she yelled.

"Ok, get out of my house, nice to meet you." he smiled at her.

"I will scream," she threatened

"Tell me your name and I will be out of your hair." the smile on his face looked kind and warm.

"Ruth Davidson, now get out " she pointed at the door.

"See you later Ruth," her name rolled out of his mouth beautifully.

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch—a titan of industry and my best friend’s father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.

I was sitting in the Presidential Suite of The Pierre, wearing a Vera Wang gown worth more than most people earn in a decade. It was supposed to be the wedding of the century, the final move to merge two of Manhattan's most powerful empires. Then my phone buzzed. It was an Instagram Story from my fiancé, Jameson. He was at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris with a caption that read: "Fuck the chains. Chasing freedom." He hadn't just gotten cold feet; he had abandoned me at the altar to run across the world. My father didn't come in to comfort me. He burst through the door roaring about a lost acquisition deal, telling me the Holland Group would strip our family for parts if the ceremony didn't happen by noon. My stepmother wailed about us becoming the laughingstock of the Upper East Side. The Holland PR director even suggested I fake a "panic attack" to make myself look weak and sympathetic to save their stock price. Then Jameson’s sleazy cousin, Pierce, walked in with a lopsided grin, offering to "step in" and marry me just to get his hands on my assets. I looked at them and realized I wasn't a daughter or a bride to anyone in that room. I was a failed asset, a bouncing check, a girl whose own father told her to go to Paris and "beg" the man who had just publicly humiliated her. The girl who wanted to be loved died in that mirror. I realized that if I was going to be sold to save a merger, I was going to sell myself to the one who actually controlled the money. I marched past my parents and walked straight into the VIP holding room. I looked the most powerful man in the room—Jameson’s cold, ruthless uncle, Fletcher Holland—dead in the eye and threw the iPad on the table. "Jameson is gone," I said, my voice as hard as stone. "Marry me instead."

I had just survived a private jet crash, my body a map of violet bruises and my lungs still burning from the smoke. I woke up in a sterile hospital room, gasping for my husband's name, only to realize I was completely alone. While I was bleeding in a ditch, my husband, Adam, was on the news smiling at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. When I tracked him down at the hospital's VIP wing, I didn't find a grieving husband. I found him tenderly cradling his ex-girlfriend, Casie, in his arms, his face lit with a protective warmth he had never shown me as he carried her into the maternity ward. The betrayal went deeper than I could have imagined. Adam admitted the affair started on our third anniversary-the night he claimed he was stuck in London for a merger. Back at the manor, his mother had already filled our planned nursery with pink boutique bags for Casie's "little princess." When I demanded a divorce, Adam didn't flinch. He sneered that I was "gutter trash" from a foster home and that I'd be begging on the streets within a week. To trap me, he froze my bank accounts, cancelled my flight, and even called the police to report me for "theft" of company property. I realized then that I wasn't his partner; I was a charity case he had plucked from obscurity to manage his life. To the Hortons, I was just a servant who happened to sleep in the master bedroom, a "resilient" woman meant to endure his abuse in silence while the whole world laughed at the joke that was my marriage. Adam thought stripping me of his money would make me crawl back to him. He was wrong. I walked into his executive suite during his biggest deal of the year and poured a mug of sludge over his original ten-million-dollar contracts. Then, right in front of his board and his mistress, I stripped off every designer thread he had ever paid for until I was standing in nothing but my own silk camisole. "You can keep the clothes, Adam. They're as hollow as you are." I grabbed my passport, turned my back on his billions, and walked out of that glass tower barefoot, bleeding, and finally free.

I sat on the edge of the examination table, the crinkle of the sanitary paper sounding like thunder in the sterile room. The doctor didn't even look at me as he confirmed the news: the pregnancy was over. My husband, Keyon, didn't answer my call. He just sent an automated text: "In a meeting." When I returned to our cold mansion, I found his iPad glowing with a message from his "muse," Katina. He was throwing her a secret gala tonight-on our third wedding anniversary. He told her he couldn't wait to escape the "boring" and "draining" atmosphere I created at home. Keyon didn't stumble in until 3 AM, smelling of Katina's perfume with a smear of red on his collar. When I handed him the divorce papers, he laughed in my face. He called me a "glorified housekeeper" with no skills and no future, promising I'd be back in three days begging for a subway ticket. He even bet his friends ten thousand dollars that I wouldn't survive a week without his name. He had his assistant cancel my credit cards and block my gate access before I even reached the end of the driveway. He wanted me to starve. He wanted me to crawl. He sat in his office, mocking the "desperate" woman who pawned her three-million-dollar wedding ring for scrap metal just to pay for a meal. I stood on the rainy curb, watching the man I had protected for three years treat my life like trash. He didn't know about the ultrasound I just threw in the bin. He didn't know that while he was calling me "dull," I was the one secretly writing the code that kept his billion-dollar empire from collapsing. As I slid into a cheap Uber, I opened a hidden, encrypted app on my phone. The screen refreshed to a dashboard for an account Keyon didn't know existed. The balance was ten figures long-the accumulated wealth of "Solaris," the world's most elusive tech genius. Keyon thinks he just evicted a parasite, but he's about to find out he just declared war on the only person who can hit "delete" on his entire life.
