Chapter 1 MISSION SEDUCE

•SOPHIE'S POV•

I was in the club with my female friends.

"Spin the bottle!" Bella screamed excitedly.

Kristen spun the bottle. The narrow head of the bottle pointed at me, with the bottom facing Bella. This evening, my friends and I were playing a 'truth or dare' game in the club. I never intended to join the game, but Bella coerced me.

"Sophie, it looks like you can't escape today." Ava said with an evil grin.

The last time we played the game, the bottle when spun over and over again, it never pointed at me.

I don't really like the game because of the evil intention of Bella for me.

Since I didn't date any boy, Bella will try to push me towards a boy she deemed fit, but I always rejected her and took the punishment instead.

I created the 'Five Stars Girls', and the purpose is to pull smart girls in both academic and regular life, who are also rich. You're smart but have no money, then screw off from the group. You can work for me and I will pay you. Not only that, but you have rich parents who supply you with income but lack brain, then f••k off from my sight.

That was her I connected with these three female friends of mine.

Bella Daniel, although loves clubbing, she has a wealthy mother. Bella owns many clubs in California. Furthermore, Bella owns about two casinos in Las Vegas.

Kristen Owen, the best dresser among us, is a person who loves fashion. Her parents own a communication company. She owns a multi-million fashion designing company with multiple branches.

Ava Wyatt, although a quiet type and kind of nerdy, she is a genius when it comes to technology. Her parents are into real estate. Ava and I partnered, and we created a multi-million company that is already closer to being a billion-dollar company in 6 months. Ava works in the technological section of the company, and she is the president, while I manage the company, and I'm the CEO of the company because I brought major of the capital.

As for me, I invested in multiple businesses.

"What should I ask her to do?" Bella muttered loudly, with her index finger tapping rhythmically on her brightly painted red lips and her head inclined upwards. She crossed her legs, clad in black pantyhose. Bella loves partying, so she was mostly dresses like a half party girl in the club.

Today she wore a red tight leather top, that exposed her cleavage and tightened around her breasts that made them look like they were about to burst out of her clothes, coupled with a very bright and heavily painted, eye-catching red lipstick, and an extravagantly long eyelashes. She also wore a heavy makeup.

Bella wore a skimpy leather skirt, with a black pantyhose and a pair of 7 inches (17.78 cm) with platform peep toe heels. She's only a step away from becoming a pole dancer. Nobody can associate her with a business owner from her attire. Bella's mom was always at odd with her due to her rebellious character, but there's nothing she could do as Bella has her money.

Even in college, she behaves seductive and wears extremely short clothes, but not as exaggerated as the way she dresses in the club.

Currently, we were in a private room, in the club.

As Bella was still thinking of what to ask, since in the game, we removed the truth. Only 'dare' is allowed.

"Bella, this club of yours we are staying is more successful than your other clubs and more extravagant." I said while looking at the party hall through the glass wall, with boys and girls grinding their bodies against each other. The room we were inside was a room made of a strong glass that obstructs the vision of the people outside, but the people inside can see the outside clearly.

"It's not my club. I only partnered with somebody." Bella said dismissively.

"Who's that?" Kristen asked with a wide eyes, and even I was curious because Bella never partnered with anybody in building clubs, except for other investments.

"It was a woman who is about 25-year-old. She is bastardly rich and powerful. Do you remember Darius Sebastian, the 50-year-old billionaire who wants me to be his fifth wife?" Bella asked excitedly.

"Darius, who suppressed all your businesses, and your mom kept her mouth mute that time? How can we forget him? But he seems to have vanished without trace two months ago." I said.

"The woman, who I partnered with, told me she's going to make Darius disappear if I work for her for two years. When I agreed, two days latter, Darius vanished into thin air." Bella said, with her voice lowered to a whisper.

Our eyes opened wide in shock. Someone who can make a powerful billionaire vanish is overpowered, right?

"You struck rich this time. But I don't like working for somebody." I said dismissively.

"I recommended you to her the day I accepted her deal, but she said that you're not qualified." Bella said with a smug grin.

My lips twitched, and the quiet, almost non-existent Ava, burst into laughter.

"What's her name?" I asked Bella.

"I don't know. I only know that she signed the club ownership under my name." Bella said nonchalantly.

"What if you do not return the club?" I asked Bella in surprise.

"With what happened to Darius, I wouldn't dare. I want to live a long life." Bella said, while making a cross sign with her hands.

"Bella, Sophie is diverting your attention from the game." Kristen said with a knowing smirk.

"Can she do it? I've already thought of a dare. Now I know who I want you to seduce. Andrew Hale, the mysterious bad boy and loner of the college. How is it?" Bella asked with an evil grin.

Immediately, the room plunged into a cold silence.

Andrew Hale, a boy who came to our college one month ago. He's always on a mask and a matching color long sleeve hood. How he got the bad boy's nickname was in the first week when he came to the college, a lecturer threatened him. The next day, the lecturer came to college with bruises all over his body. When we asked him how he got the bruises, he was tight lip and refused to say a word. However, everybody suspected that, it had something to do with Andrew.

Three weeks later, a rich senior, whose father has a net worth of hundred million dollars, that's, a cent millionaire wanted to take off Andrew's mask. Andrew beat the boy up, until he was separated from the underworld by a thin linen. Andrew was arrested, but he came to school the next day, unscathed.

The senior wanted revenge, so he told a girl to accuse him of r•pe in public. But Andrew ignored her and behaved like the accusation was a thin air. He neither proven his innocence nor refuted the allegations. Andrew ignored her existence, and the school ignored the matter.

Andrew is the epitome of a bad boy because he doesn't obey the rules, but does what he felt like doing. People from the college news affair dug into his private life. That's when we discovered that nobody had seen his face since he was five. Furthermore, he does part-time jobs like every normal college student, but even the senior student with powerful parents couldn't touch him. That made him a being shrouded in mysteries.

"Bella, you can't be serious, right?" Kristen asked why the quiet Ava gave Bella a questioning look.

"Are you guys not curious to know the mystery surrounding him?" Bella asked with a smirk like a devil tempting a devoted believer.

Immediately, Kristen and Ava shut their mouths, unable to refute Bella's claim.

"Sophie is the perfect person for the job. She's beautiful, single, pure, rich, intelligent, calm, loved by all-"

"Fine. I would seduce him." I said calmly.

"What! You would?" Bella exclaimed.

"Is that not what you asked?" I glared at her.

"I was just saying. I never expected you to do it. Great! Since you haven't dated, I will be your coach, Kristen will dress you up, while Ava will give you one of her micro earpiece and microphone for easy communication." Bella said happily.

"Why does it feel like I'm going on a death mission?" I asked with an uncomfortable feeling rising in my heart.

"Don't worry, you would love the mission. Cheers to mission seduce." Bella raised her wine cup.

"Cheers!" Kristen and Ava said at the same time as they lifted their wine cup.

"Cheers!" I was forced to join them not to remain odd. We clunk our wine cup, before drinking.

'Why do I feel like I fell into their trap?' I thought.

He fully expected me to return, to accept his double life, telling his friends I was "dramatic" but would "always come back." The audacity, the calculated cruelty of his deception, and Serena's chilling malice, fueled a cold, hard rage I barely recognized. Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.
