Dangerous Love Of The Dominant CEO Chapter 1 A Trap

In the Passion Club.

A cool breeze blew through the open windows of the master bedroom of the presidential suite. The fine silk curtains swayed in the breeze, as if dancing to a sweet melody. The room was tastefully decorated to sooth the weary hotel guests. In the middle of the room there was a huge bed, with a couple in it. They were fast asleep. They looked beautiful and at peace.

The man's slender figure was covered with lean muscles, almost better than a model. His face was very attractive too. He had a pair of dashing eyebrows above his eyes. His straight high nose and his thin lips showed the man's fickleness. His prominent Adam's apple bobbed in his sleep. His hair was mussed and fell over his forehead. It added an air of carelessness to his face.

Although the woman's face was half buried under the quilt, judging by the slender figure and the small chin that peeked out from below the quilt, she seemed to be quite beautiful. She could be a little over five feet seven inches tall. Her waist was slender and her skin was fair and smooth.

Aden Morrison's head felt very heavy. He groaned and tried to press his temples with his thumb and forefinger. He felt as if his eyelids were stuck together. He had been in a bad mood yesterday and he couldn't remember how he got back to his room. Yesterday, his father had asked him to come home for dinner, but Aden didn't expect that his main purpose was to force him to break up with Gianna Cullen. He could never break up with her. Gianna was Aden's love. After he refused, his father actually used the position of the General Manager as a bargaining chip to force him to leave his beloved. If Aden wouldn't leave Gianna, then he would have to give the position of the GM to his elder brother Weston Morrison. Just thinking of it brought a scowl to Aden's face.

Humph! He, Aden Morrison, wanted both, the position and the beauty. Nothing could make him give up either. Aden would see to it that he got both, by hook or by crook.

Thinking of Gianna, Aden's mood got a bit lighter. He opened his eyes and looked down at the woman and he frowned.

Wait a minute! This was not his sweetheart. He suddenly shoved the woman away from him. His eyes looked as if they were dark bottomless pools.

The strong shove startled the woman awake.

Janiya Hamilton covered her eyes with her hands against the bright sunlight that had filled the room. Her head was very heavy. She frowned and rubbed her temples. With a groan, she slowly opened her eyes.

She looked around her, trying to figure out where she was. Before she could react, her slender neck was grabbed by a big strong hand.

"How dare you!" The strong hand was attached to a man. He was handsome and had a deep attractive voice too, but Janiya was not in a mood to appreciate it.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Janiya was trying her best to figure out what was happening. Why was everything so strange in front of her? Was she kidnapped?

"Why are you in my room?" Aden was so angry that he tightened his grip as if he was going to strangle the life out of the woman.

Even though the woman in front of him was beautiful even when she didn't have any make-up on, fury still burnt in his breast. Aden had seen countless beauties. Did she think that he would be attracted by her just because she had a beautiful face?

Janiya was unable to breathe and she was afraid that she was going to die. She struggled hard and tried to force the man to loosen his grip, but how could a weak woman escape from a man's strength?

When Aden realized that the woman had gone pale in the face and her struggles were getting weaker, he let go of her and wiped his hand in disgust.

Janiya lay on the bed and gasped for air. She started to cough, while tears were sliding down her cheeks.

Aden looked at the woman who was coughing violently on the bed. His face looked threatening and his eyes flashed with disgust. "If you appear in front of me again, I will make sure you cannot see the dawn of the next day."

He hated it when women tried all kinds of tricks to attract his attention. He didn't know how this woman had successfully entered his room.

When Janiya was finally able to catch her breath and the pending sense of death vanished from her mind, she was finally able to understand what was going on.

She gasped when she looked down at her naked body. Her face turned red with shame.

The man in front of her had definitely taken advantage of her, and now he was pretending to be the victim. Janiya would not spare him. "You brute, do you think you will be forgiven? You think these... these cheeky unreasonable words will save you? I don't know what happened at all. It's you who set me up. I'll sue you and I will see that you rot in prison."

Janiya looked frantically around her and spotted a phone on the bedside table. She quickly grabbed it and dialed 911, but the phone was snatched away from her as soon as she pressed the call button.

Aden looked at the phone that was connected, and then looked at the woman who was scared, but angry. He frowned at her and felt that something was definitely amiss.

"Hello, this is Police Station."

The voice of the police officer on the other end of the line clearly reached Janiya's ears. She yelled, "Help sir. I'm in the Passion Club. Please save me! Hurry!"

Unfortunately, the man cut the call before she could complete her sentence. Janiya wasn't sure how much the police officer had heard. She could only pray that the officer had heard everything that she had yelled at him.

Aden looked at the angry woman and asked in a harsh tone, "Didn't you play your tricks and enter my room?"

Janiya stared dumbfounded at Aden and thought, 'Who does he think he is?' As they were glaring at each other, Janiya suddenly realized that the man standing in front of her looked very familiar. She had seen him before, but where?

Wait a minute... Didn't her father show her a picture of this man yesterday? "Aren't you Aden Morrison, the General Manager of the Glory Group?"

Aden continued to glare at Janiya. He was still and quiet as a statue, trying to figure out whether she was acting or she genuinely had no idea about what had happened last night.

Janiya's eyes swept around her surroundings. The hotel room was tastefully decorated, which was definitely expensive. His clothes were stitched entirely by hand in Italy, so she was sure that the man in front of her was undoubtedly Aden Morrison.

"Since you are definitely the GM of the Glory Group, can you tell me why I am here? What's going on between us?"

Janiya had so many questions revolving in her head. Most of all she wanted to ask him why she was here and who had brought her here. But looking at the way Aden was reacting to the situation, she figured it couldn't have been him. Or was he acting? She was filled with confusion.

Aden was watching Janiya closely. He looked directly into her eyes, but was unable to see any sort of guilt or acting. He saw nothing but teary eyes that reflected confusion. And as he kept on looking, those eyes widened with fear and panic.

"If you don't know why you are here, then what exactly do you know?" Aden looked at all the clothes that were scattered on the floor. The woman had obviously good taste in clothing. Her clothes were with expensive designer labels. If the clothes belonged to her, then she was definitely rich. Being from the upper class, Aden had seen almost all the debutantes in Asopool. And he was sure that he had not seen this woman before.

Seeing that Aden was staring at her, Janiya tried her level best to ignore the sadness that she was feeling right now. She was forcing herself to gather her thoughts and be rational, rather than being disoriented.

Janiya had graduated from Harvard University and had just returned home yesterday from the USA. Her half-sister Jayla Hamilton insisted that they meet for dinner. Even though Janiya was tired from her travels, they decided to meet at the restaurant, which was located on the first floor of the Passion Club. They were having a good time, when all of a sudden Janiya started to feel dizzy. Jayla said that she had booked a room upstairs for them to rest, in case they happened to get tired. Janiya gratefully took the key card and went upstairs.

As she was going upstairs, her head started to get heavier by the minute. As soon as she found the room number, she went in. After that...

I lived as the "scarred ghost" of the Stephens penthouse, a wife kept in the shadows because my facial burns offended my billionaire husband’s aesthetic. For years, I endured Kason’s coldness and my family's abuse, a submissive puppet who believed she had nowhere else to go. The end came with a blue folder tossed onto my silk sheets. The betrayal cut deep when I discovered my father had already traded my divorce for a corporate bailout. My step-sister mocked my "trashy" appearance at a high-end boutique, while the sales staff treated me like a common thief. At home, my father threatened to cut off my mother's life-saving medicine unless I crawled back to Kason to beg for a better deal. I was the girl who took the blame for a fire she didn't start, the wife who worshipped a man who never looked her in the eye, and the daughter used as a human bargaining chip. I was supposed to be broken, penniless, and desperate. But the woman who stood up wasn't the weak Elease Finch anymore; she was Phoenix, a tactical predator with a $500 million secret. I signed the divorce papers without a single tear, walked past my stunned husband, and wiped the Finch family's bank accounts clean with a few taps on my phone. "Your money is dirty," I told Kason with a cold smile. "I prefer clean hands." The cage is open, the hunt has begun, and I’m starting with the people who thought a scar made me weak.

The rain in Detroit was slick with grime when my family finally came to fetch me. They didn't want a reunion; they wanted a sacrificial lamb to marry into the Kaufman empire to save their failing business. I thought I was just being sold off, but the limo ride ended under a dark overpass where six hired thugs were waiting with chains. My own sister had ordered them to "break my spirit" so I’d be a shaking, pathetic mess by the time I reached the altar. They called me "Detroit trash" and sprayed air freshener when I sat on their leather seats. My stepmother wanted a video of me begging for my life, and my father was ready to trade me like a used car to a man everyone called a "vegetable." They expected a submissive country girl, unaware that I was a high-level "cleaner" who could snap a radius bone before they could even scream. When I finally reached the Kaufman estate, I found my fiancé, Barron, slumped in a wheelchair, drooling and silent. But as soon as the doors closed, the "invalid" grabbed my wrist with a grip of iron and whispered a command that changed everything. I didn't understand why my own blood was so desperate to see me destroyed. What had I ever done to deserve a hit squad and a forced marriage to a man they thought was a corpse? But Barron isn't a vegetable, and I'm not a victim. We just touched down at the Moon family gala in a matte-black helicopter, and as the doors slide open, the "broken" bride is about to show them exactly what happens when you throw away the wrong daughter. "If we're going to crash a party," Barron whispered, his eyes burning with lethal clarity, "we should make an entrance."

My five-year-old daughter was dying in the ICU, her heartbeat replaced by the continuous, electronic scream of a flatline. I gripped her cold hand, my throat sealed shut by a terror so absolute I couldn't even cry out. I dialed my husband Grayson's private number, the one reserved only for me and his assistants. He declined the call instantly. A second later, a text buzzed against my palm: "In a meeting. Do not disturb. Stop calling." Five miles away, Grayson was at a luxury gala, adjusting his silk tie and laughing with Belle Escobar. He told her I was just being "dramatic" and using our daughter's "fever" as an excuse to avoid the event. He had no idea Effie's heart had already stopped. When I finally reached our penthouse, soaked from the rain and carrying Effie's small socks in a plastic bag, Grayson didn't even look at me. He snapped at me for ruining the hardwood floors and asked if I'd left Effie with the nanny just to "feel sorry for myself." Three days later, while I buried our daughter in a small, lonely ceremony, Grayson was at the Hamptons. Belle posted a photo of him golfing with the caption: "A mental health day with the boys." He didn't even attend the funeral, but he returned home demanding I clear out Effie's room to make a study for Belle's son. The injustice burned through me until there was nothing left. I swallowed a handful of sleeping pills, desperate to join my daughter. But instead of the darkness, I woke up to blinding lights and the scent of Grayson's expensive cologne. I was standing in a ballroom, wearing a blue silk dress I had already burned. Above me, a banner read: "Happy 5th Birthday Kaiden & Effie." I was back, exactly one year before the tragedy. This time, I wasn't going to be the grieving wife. I was going to be their worst nightmare.
