It all started when I got drunk and found myself on his lap. He was something words couldn't describe. He was everything I'm not. He was rich, a Billionaire CEO, and a man of power. Little did I know the minute I locked eyes with him, I was his. I was owned. And I was his human mate. *** Kimberly was your ordinary human girl who worked hard and lived a normal life. When she found her boyfriend cheating on her, she visited a club with her best friend to get wasted and get her ex out of her head. But what she wasn't expecting was coming face to face with Raymond Knight. The man who turned her world upside down and introduced her to a life she never thought existed. *** PS. This is not a werewolf book. It's a demon King and his human mate.

Chapter 1 One

Chapter One.

" Here you go..." I say as I pass the teenage boy his orders. He smiles at me.

" Thank you."

" And he just tried to flirt with you." Alaina says beside me.

I roll my eyes and chuckle.

" You're being hilarious." I tell her as I move to the next customer.

" Yeah. Yeah. You know I've been thinking, will you be chanced to go party with me tonight? You know it's been long we went out together since you started dating Jones." She says. Which as a matter of fact, she's right.

" It's not my fault and you know it."

" Then whose fault is it? We're roommates Kimberly and sometimes I feel like I don't usually see my best friend around like before. Jones stole you away from me." She fake a frown.

I hate when she tries to guilt trip me. It makes me feel bad and I start asking myself why the hell did I date Jones in the first place. But mind you, Jones and I are in love. He walked into my life six months ago after my sophomore year semester exams.

We turned friends and he asked me to go on a date with him. Alaina doesn't like him. She said Jones had this bad vibe she doesn't like. And that Jones gives her the creep. Deep down I don't wanna believe it.

Jones is sweet. He would walk me home after lectures and he's really cute. He's in his third year in college and he works as an intern with a dentist.

I had stayed single all my entire life because I've been waiting for this perfect gentle man who would sweep me off my feet. But yet, they don't ever come. Alaina has been in three different relationships. They don't usually end well so she gave up the whole relationship goal.

And me, Jones happens to be my first boyfriend aside my highschool crush. At first when Jones asked me out, I had doubts. But he proved himself to be this cute gentle man every normal girl would want. He doesn't have this bad boy style. Jones is just sweet.

" Alaina, I'm really sorry. You should understand why you don't usually see me around. I really love Jones and as my best friend the least you could is like him. Please..."

" So you're saying, we can't go out? Like we can't hang out tonight?"

" No, I'm not saying that. I have a date with Jones tonight."

" Have you both had sex? I don't know if I'm prying. You don't usually tell me things lately."

I sigh and look around the restaurant. Alaina and I work in 'Tasty Nancy'. It's a restaurant not too far from college. After college, we usually come here to work the night shift together. The pay isn't that awesome, it's not that bad either. At least I get to save enough money to pay for my student loan and buy myself few things that I desired.

Jones's family is kinda rich. He rides a car and he lives in this comfortable apartment all by himself. But yet, I like catering for myself. I don't wanna be a burden to any man because we're in a relationship.

My mom's being working hard since I resumed college just to make sure I go through school. My younger sister Katie is in highschool and she'll be out this year. We don't have a dad. Left home with his Spanish wife and never for once returned.

" Kimberly." Alaina snaps her fingers at me.

" Hmm..."

" Tell me you didn't hear my question."

" I'm sorry I don't remember."

" Have you been intimate with Jones?" She asks and I shrug.

" Maybe."

" What do you mean by maybe? You're no longer a virgin are you?"

I smile shyly and bite my bottom lip. I look away from her. I lost my virginity to Jones three months ago. I feel like a hypocrite cause I didn't tell my best friend about it.

" Well, yes, I'm no longer a virgin. Jones took it away."

" You gave your V-card to Jones?" She almost scream.

I glare at her as I turn to look at Carolina who dart her head to Alaina and I. Carolina is the restaurant's manager. I don't really like her that much. She's always getting on my nerves with her nasty attitude.

" You gave Jones your V-card?" Alaina whispers this time.

" What's wrong with me sleeping with Jones? For Pete's sake, Ali, Jones is my boyfriend. We're in love and I'm no longer a child. I'm twenty fucking two years old!!" I yell at her and I almost regret it.

I look away from her.

" Something wrong over there?" Carolina calls out.

" No." I answer.

" Then quit the gossip and go back to work." She snaps at us.

Before I can apologize to Alaina for yelling at her, she already walks out on me.

The bell on top of the door rings, indicating there's a new customer. I dart my head to my new customer as he strides slowly to the counter. He's tall and I don't miss the strange feeling that accompanies him.

My eyes meet his and I feel my heart beat skip. That's weird. He stares at me, not a little smile on his beautiful tender face.

Yeah, I just said beautiful. He's beautiful and painfully handsome. He wears a black jacket on his black T-shirt. His pants is black too. He has a golden brown hair that's naturally tousled. Oh man, who made this man?

" Are you done?" He asks.

" Hmm..." I stare at him like an idiot.

I can't believe he caught me staring at him.

" Menus please?"

" Oh yes. I'm sorry." I tell him as I hurriedly hand him the menu. Yet, there's no smile on his face.

He has the purest blue eyes I've ever seen. I clear my throat at once to stop me from eye raping my customer. Customer pushes the menu toward me and shows me his orders. I smile politely and turn around to get it.

For some reasons, the restaurant is strangely cold. Or maybe I'm just overthinking again.

" There you go." I hand this customer his orders. " That will cost you 50 dollars."

He gives me a hundred dollar note and turns to leave.

" Mister your change." I call out to him but he doesn't respond.

Okay that's rude. I look around and shrug, surprised the temperature in the restaurant has turned back to it's normal state.

.......

I throw my bag on the chair and lock the door. Alaina isn't home yet. She's supposed to be home before me considering the fact that she closes earlier than me.

I wanted to call her but I stop myself. I don't have to. She don't have to get mad because I had sex with my boyfriend. It's not my fault she doesn't like Jones. It's not like Jones did something to her.

I pull out my phone from my jeans pocket and dial Jones's number. He hasn't called me since morning and we're supposed to go out today. I press the phone against my ear and lay down on the bed I share with Alaina. Jones doesn't pick up.

" What's wrong?" He always picks my calls.

I redial his number and it went straight to voicemail. I decide to drop a text.

'hey babe, I just got back from work and I called you to check on you. I missed you.'

I keep my phone on the bed and go to the shower to take a bath. It's almost 6:pm, Alaina isn't back and I feel guilty. I'm the reason she's not yet home. Maybe I shouldn't have yelled at her.

I pull a tank top down my head and a cotton shorts as I lay back down on the bed. I check the message I sent Jones twenty minutes ago, he's yet to reply and now I'm worried.

I decide to call him again. This is strands. Jones always replies my message. He doesn't leave me hanging. Plus he said he's taking me out on a date and yet he's yet to call me. What's happened to him?

I put the call on speakerphone as it rings. It beeps as he picks up.

" Oh my god, Jones, I've been worried. What happened? I've been calling you and you ain't picking up, I thought something happened to you. How are you?" I ask him.

" Who are you?"

I blink my eyes to this unfamiliar voice. I look at my screen, it's Jones's number. It's not a wrong number. A girl just answered the phone.

" Who are you?" I ask her.

" I'm his girlfriend. Why don't you leave him alone sweetie. Jones doesn't want you. If you're a smart, you'll forget about Jones." She hangs up.

What the hell was that?

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ ā€œI want to get a divorce, Mark,ā€ I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first timeā€”even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.
